It was absolutely wonderful to talk books with you in person! Your passion for reading shines through both when we are sitting side by side and in your videos. I am eager to explore The Storygraph, thanks to your encouragement and assistance. And I am so excited to delve into my pile of TBRs, all books which you. have recommended. I'm proud of you, Scottie Sheree!!
Thank you for the immense support, Mama Marty! 🥹💛 I had so much fun talking all things book with you. I'm actually planning on reading Firekeeper's Daughter next month. Maybe we can buddy read it together and then chat with Grandma!
Yay for fur babies named Luna! 😅Love SA Cosby. All The Sinners Bleed kept me hooked. Good to hear your final thoughts on Friday Black. I really liked it too. The stories you mentioned were some of those that stood out to me as well…also the one about the good. I can’t remember the title off the top of my head atm.
My fave read of July was ‘My Soul To Keep” by Tananarive Due. I read it for July Noir and I’m still thinking about it. You lucky woman getting to read this month about Rome and his yacht-renting ways
Rome & Janelle were IT!! Such a great read! I need to pick up other Tananarive Due's book. "The Reformatory" is still one that I regularly think about and I read it back in like February!
@@scottieshereereads After thinking for a day or so, I think I would read Ghost. It is the first of a 4 series book about kids that run track. I have only read the first one and should fix that. It is middle school and I really love the characters and the way Ghost was dealing with his issues.
Some recent reads: The Dead Cat Tail Assassins and The Black God’s Drum, both by P. Djèlí Clark. He’s a great author when it comes to worldbuilding and action. Definitely worth checking out.
Thank you! I am always on the hunt for a good lip gloss with spf. My favorite is Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother with spf. It’s a pink gloss butttt I think it’s discontinued 😓 I’ve found it on Amazon though! I also regularly use Jack Black’s Intense Therapy Lip Balm & anything Fenty! 🥰
@@scottieshereereads I had several of the neutrogena ages ago. Used up now and haven’t seen it in stores since. I’ve had Fenty glosses on my wishlist for awhile. I guess it’s time to try one!
New sub here, love your July reads & your fur baby in the back living its best life is adorable too
thanks for subscribing!! 🥰
Luna is really chilling out in this video haha
