The normal one was a severely edited and cut down version due to legal issues. In case you didn't know, JD wrote this song with sexart (his prior band) and took it with him to Korn.
@danhawrys3935 I think most people would consider the fully produced studio version the "original" one since that's the one everyone has heard first. I don't consider this the original. I consider this the demo.
the original is from 1993. Album with all these demos is named Neidermayer's Mind. Really dope unofficial album tho. Unfortunately, all of these was recorded on tapes back then so no lossless audio has been made from it. Or at least MP3s with great quality.
This is not from Korn official. It is a remastered version of the demo, a great edit nonetheless. You can find the non remastered demo on UA-cam as well.
I did slow it down to match the key and tempo of the album version. I think this was how it was intended/recorded because I feel like the original demo/source sounded sped up cause it was from a cassette, which old cassette players tend to run fast on playback. I also equed it and extended the beginning.
@@rgil1998 JD's vocals sound way too low/off so im pretty sure you are wrong on the others being "sped up" they initialy didnt tune the guitars to A so thats why the guitars sound higher pitch then they do on the album.

This is more complex and interesting then the “normal” one. Thanks

The heavy part of this is more headbangeable than the original, both are good
This is the original but I agree
This sound like sludge metal too, i remember acid bath a lot
Acid Bath!
This song is literally my mood in the mornings
not really a mood but i do listen to this in the mornings to get myself up
3:31 chills.
its sooo good, damn
nooooooo the "i cant see"'s we're my favorite part of the demo, still good either way
David does fill the drums much better on the polished song. I do love hearing the demo for sure.
Epic.
Thanks for this!!!It's too dark than the other, perfectly. Love so much
Thanks a lot. It really sounds better
I've never clicked on something so fast in my life
I like this one better than the original. The instruments.
This is the original

Me encanta

Johnathan sounds a bit like a Layne Staley here
I mean Korn was inspired by Alice in Chains too.
Nice work, if you got the time, you should try remastering This Broken Soul, if you'd like to ofcourse. Great song but has some audio issues
Wow
The end sounds more like godsmacks first album than korn lmao
YES
YES! He sounds like Sully!
Your fucking genious
Where did you find the picture? Do you have a link?
Alice in Korn
Holy shit never knew this exist. Guess I just found a diamond
Тот самый момент, когда демо лучше оригинала. Похожее иногда бывает у Mudvayne
What year was the recorded in?

Wondering if the phone 📞 number works

This would have been a perfect remaster if you did edited it shorter
richer
they just got the original demo and slowed it down. not cool.
