“I just stay at home all day .. and grow moles” 😂 relatable
crying T__T
@@Qcknd I laughed so hard at that. same girl. same
this is an algorithm feeder - keep scrolling and unclench ur jaw thank u
Only one time out of all the times I’ve gotten tattooed has the artist insisted on taking a picture of what all my freckles looked like so I would know what it looked like before! Was such a good idea I’ve done it myself every time after
I don't care if we are talking moles, anime, or bike make overs I am here for it all!
I'm a simp for Millenial healthcare, love
It’s crazy I haven’t heard anyone else talk about this potential issue when having tattoos and moles until your video!
agreed! i love it and i think it’s very important for awareness and as something to keep in mind.
Skin cancer runs in my family, so I especially appreciate you spreading this awareness! I don't think it's gross to talk about moles at all, for a lot of us it's important information :)
my dermatologist scolded me for having a "large" tattoo and now I'm looking for a new dr. rude.
I had something similar happen when I went for a skin check at the start of the year ☹️ like... I’ve got the tattoos now? What else can I do about it? Just check my skin, dude.
I go this week and I will not be kind if they are rude about my tattoos!
please speak up! i was so shocked and regret not saying anything right away...
When grandmom is hardcore AF and slaps the baby right out of you 🤣
“Slap the baby right out of you” I just got a very different image in my head 😅
Lol I need sleep 😂
Honestly, I came in my early 20s for tattoos. I've stayed in my late 20s for content that other alt ladies like! Like decorating for Halloween! Without it being " : ) Harvest festival! " There's not a lot of content for late 20s alternative people who are more chill and mature?
So true!
I too, have the zooms.
Thank you for talking about this! As a young cancer survivor I definitely recommend getting anything abnormal checked out!!! Just because you’re young doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get things checked!!! And if you feel like a dr blows you off because you’re young go somewhere else!! It’s a really good thing I did......
If I could put any feeling on loop forever, it would be the feeling that I get when I'm idly refreshing youtube and a new qck video shows up.
I love how you addressed this topic, having skin concerns while being tattooed. I think tattoos are possibility something that is lacking information within the field of dermatology. This is good infomation! I think it would be ridiculous for UA-cam to flag this type of content when you have dudes uploading vids of dead bodies and parents abusing and abandoning their kids and pedophiles making millions with their crap content.
Also, your scarification videos introduced me to your channel!
Also, also, absolutely loves all the funny commentary. Had me in giggles 🤩
The rules on yt are so weird this is really educational and can help people's health
qcknd: "it's not rlly deep"
me: 😳
lol jokes aside, i think it's great you were proactive with the moles! I don't have any tattoos (got some moles tho ✌🏻), but I love your content! ❤️
I’m glad I’m not the only one who is a baby about doctor stuff - people assume if you have tattoos/piercings that you don’t care about pain and that’s TOTALLY not true.
i don't think it's embarrassing to feel sick after such procedure, i think it's kinda cool how your body is able to redistribute resources like it's a machine THANK YOU body for knowing what to do it's an honor to help you
glad to see it's almost healed, couldn't stop thinking about the starburst leg
i absolutely love and rewatch all your content whether it's about tattoos or not!
also, i thoroughly enjoy when you add in little skits (?) to your vids lol
I appreciate this video as a pale, questionable mole-prone, heavily tattooed human. There are a couple big biopsy scars I have been tattooed around so that way my doctor and I can make sure it doesn't re-pigment. Scary moles happen and I just am going to continue getting tattooed and stay vigilant..? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I liked for the zoom in of Ethan giving himself a good scritch
This is definitely something that 19 year old me getting her first tattoo didn't care about but that 26 year old me still getting tattoos will be more aware of! Thanks for the info mama quack!
Omg I almost spit out my coffee when you said "I'm a senior, do you know what they do to me at the doctor?" 😂
Honestly, it's great to hear this from someone that actually has tattoos and just wants to inform people about their experience, and not from someone who just says it to talk you out of getting tattoed
Amanda is the only person alive who can make a fun and entertaining mole video 🌟 Like the dentist anesthetics gun... 🙈
I have an upcoming appointment with my dermatologist for the same reason and I have been SO CONCERNED about the whole experience. The timing of this video was perfect and you have honestly helped me feel a lot less nervous about the process and what to expect my tattoos to look like afterward ! :)
I’d definitely watch a part two
i'm also pretty freckly and have a lot of moles genetically, and i have a big interest in tattoos but dont have any on my especially mole-y parts like the tops of my forearms but have always wondered about tattoos and freckles/moles so i'm so glad you made a video on this! i've never seen anyone else talk about it so it was really interesting hearing about it!
omg i'm obsessed with your hair
Thank you!!
My boyfriend gets a weird mole like every two years, his back looks like Swiss cheese 😭
I saw a tiktok, and men's back was compared to a tortilla, I can't look at it the same. 🤣
There should be more conversations not only about tattoo maintenance but also looking for irregularities in your tattoos that help maintain your health. Thank you for talking about this since your health is very important.
Thanks for talking about this - your experience is so relatable to me, having had several biopsies and going back in-office every three months. I’ve been religious about sun protection for years now that I’m so much more conscious and aware of it all. Seeing people just laying in the sun soaking it up makes me anxious.
The Blanket behind her is so cute I've never seen a bright colored one with black before
I feel like mole talk is something most heavily tattooed people (like myself) like to push aside and aside because no not me. Thanks I learned a lot!
I'm glad you addressed this topic, it's something that needs to be spoken about. Moles can get real serious real fast
Quack you're so funny I kept typing up quotes from the video to comment on but you made too many good jokes 😂 I LOVE this normalization of medical talk, it's something super important and of course something that gets discussed even less wrt being tattooed and how having tattoos effects us.
There’s just so much contentment I feel when you post, even if it’s mole content. Love ya qcknd
This is such an important video!!! I haven't heard anyone talking about this in the community, I hadn't even considered what a skin biopsy would be like with tattoos, or even what getting a mole under or over my tattoos would be like! Thank you so much for making this!
Didn’t know I needed to know this as a tattooed person thank you for sharing :)
Adding a second comment to say that I made an appointment with a dermatologist a couple years ago (I think I was 23) because I had a few moles I was concerned about. I was mostly worried because they were raised, itchy, and I couldn't remember if I had always had them or if they had appeared sometime in my adult life. My experience was pretty lame because I felt like the doctor very quickly dismissed all of the moles I pointed out to her. Like, sure, I was relieved that they didn't seem suspicious, but I felt like she could have examined them for more than half a second, given that I had voluntarily made my first ever dermatologist appointment and was trying to be proactive about my health.
I had to rewatch that “UA-cam school” thing like 5 time it was funny lol
Crying!
yesss new qcknd video means its a gr8 day 🥳
You're the best!
also im glad the sea monster intro is back i missed that
Gnarly. Commenting for the algorithm ✌🏻
super interesting. I never really hear about scaring over tattoos, it's usually talked about tattooing over scars. this kinda reminds me of a co worker of mine getting nailed with a grease basket at work and it happened where there was a newer tattoo (less then two months old) on his forarms. he was more upset it fucked up his tattoo then the pain itself.
Qcknd: I was getting nervous about my moles
Me: Oh boy it’s another thing I need to be nervous about that I didn’t even realize.
I think this is an important video, please UA-cam gods don’t ban it
Commenting for the algorithm but might as well share my thoughts lol. I’ve had multiple moles removed throughout my life but they’ve always been on my back. I’ve never thought about moles and tattoos but thanks for putting it on thousands of people’s radar. Millennial healthcare talk ftw
Props to you for seeing the dermatologist especially during this crazy time were living in. I gotta remember that its very different in the US than here in Canada when it comes to healthcare and costs. I love that you were willing to sacrifice parts of the tattoo for the sake of your health and I think your video will help others in the same situation make the right decision for them. You think doctors would have some kind of protocol for moles and tattoos by now though considering it must be fairly common by now. I hope your biopsy results come back clear and if they need to take more, dont worry because the scars are just as unique and beautiful
hair reminds me of when it was shoulder length and green, 25 years ago 😭💚
Totally! This is hairstyle is giving me throwback Qcknd vibes.
This is such a specific topic that people WILL need info about but it really doesn’t exist yet!! You’ve always been an excellent resource and I’m so grateful for the effort you put into your content ❤️ thanks Qcknd!!
I also have lots of moles and always worry about the same! And I feel you about the whole “if I don’t see it, it isn’t there...”. Thanks for the video🤎
Those ponytails are the cutest, btw
Definitely keep us updated!
When she says “You know how the algorithm...” I know about the algorithm 😂😂 As a young but heavily tattooed person, this content is important for health and also expression 💕 my tattoos are “lived in” as well and this is an essential conversation!! Tattoos can make skin conditions difficult but it’s important to pay attention to your body regardless of tattoos or otherwise
ahh glad you posted this I need to go see the doctor about a mole as well
This should not be censured. It's a medical experience that can help raise awareness for appropriate treatment concerning tattoos and moles/possible skin cancer. Thank you for sharing, Qcknd!
This is sooooo important and should absolutely be adressed, it being considered gross or not... Thank you!!
Boosting that algorithm to say I can't stop eyeing that granny square blanket behind you 😍
I’m thankful for this. I had melanoma but I won’t stop being tattooed. My artist just avoids my moles.
This video is incredible! I'm tattooed and a medical student and I also didn't know about the effects of tattoos on moles. I'm glad you shared!!
We stan good skin maintenance!! I had a biopsy for scary lookin mole on my scalp a few years ago. Gotta get that ish checked out! Good for you mama
Thank you so much for taking the time to share!!!! Skin cancer is common in my family and I get moles removed often lol. I was always concerned how it would play into the process when I start getting tattooed, but this video was comforting! It seems like you and the doctors all did your best to make the right decisions. I love all your videos a lot and I hope you have a great day!
I think it’s so brave of you to talk about this subject.
Shadow ban is CRAZY I love your content tattoo and otherwise!
I've had an artist who adjusted positioning of a tattoo to avoid going over a mole for this purpose.
I'm a freckly, mole spotted human as well and have a couple I need to keep an eye on, thank you for this content!
I really appreciate this video! I do not have tattoos and even though I want some, I have hesitated because I have a lot of moles and I worry they would interfere with the observation of suspicious moles, so thank you so much! 💖
I hope everything comes back alright so I’m sending all my good vibes your way. Looking forward to more mole content 🟤🤎🟤
These are such important topics to talk about and understand. Knowledge helps empower people to take care of their health, and people deserve to know the real life scenarios they may have to deal with. P.s. I love the varied content it's exactly perfect and what I'm here for, art life.
💗 I have a mole I want removed and I had never even thought about like how that must work with tattoos!! Holy moly!
This is so interesting to me! When you mentioned getting a skin biopsy I was very curious how that went with tattoos as I have developed some spots and moles within my tattoos!
Very helpful information! Skin cancer runs in my family, so I have already had one removed (no cancer thankfully). The pain when the anesthesia wore off was crazy on my back-glad you were able to catch a bus home, girl. That walk would have been awful.
Oh lord your hair looks so adorable in this video.
This is super interesting! I am neither tattooed nor prone to growing new moles (though I have quite a few from birth/youth), but I love all your content and think you do a great job no matter what the topic is.
I'm commenting bc I love Qcknd and she deserves NOT being shadowbanned :) Ily and your MOLES, Manda
I think this is a pretty important video because it's easy to ignore these things, especially when it's part of a tattoo (and people wanna keep their tattoos intact). But we've always gotta prioritise health.
I really like this. I’m a huge public health nerd (read “masters student”) and as a tattooed person as well I keep trying to find and create public health content relevant to tattooed bodies. Videos like this are exactly what I’m looking for!
Yes! This is a great topic!
I am very fair and have quite a few moles and freckles and a family history of skin cancer, and I've already had a few spots removed- one being pre-cancerous. I'm definitely planning on getting more tattoos so this has always been something I've thought about!
Thank you for speaking on this and sharing your journey with us- Skin health is something I don't often hear young people talk about, and even if you don't have a family history of it, it's still important to keep an eye on any moles and freckles.
Thank you so much for making this video! My husband actually had a melanoma removed last year and while his closest tattoo was several inches away, now he gets those 3 month checks anyway to be safe and we've always wondered what would happen if one popped up in his tattoos. Thanks for helping educate us further on such an important topic!
this is something my mother has been concerned with since i started my tattoo journey (she’s a nurse so it makes sense!) and having a video visualise it, it makes sense to continuously check my skin here on out! i cant say i will stop getting tattooed (or mum either). thank you for the video! the scars are way smaller than i thought and i think it’s badass that you won’t get it tattooed over as a part of your journey
Keep us updated. Hope everything went well 🤞
I have been watching your videos for a few years now. I think the first video of yours I saw was the "Tattoo Appointment Essentials" vid back in 2015. I didnt get my first tattoo until last year, but I truly think that your advice and guidance has helped me make wiser decisions regarding the entire process. I will always value your tattoo content and I am loving your newer fashion, cleaning, and vlogging videos as well. Thank you for keeping me informed as well as entertained 🧡
Last year I had one removed from my neck and the scar is a bit noticable, but I don't really care that much. I'd rather have it gone. It's really amazing that you're putting this info out there and I hope you'll be okay :)
Also your hair like this reminds me of your green hair shorter bob days!!! You can really pull off any look! 🥰
Thank you for the mature adult human content! Loved the editing and hairstyle too 😘
Mole representation! Thank you for talking about something that I think can affect lot of tattooed people. I had a couple moles removed from my arms when I was 18, and they left some pretty deep and large scars. I have a tattoo that partially covers the scar, and the differences between my scar and my skin haven't affected the tattoo at all.
It is so wonderful for you to share this! As a heavily tattooed person, this was a huge paranoia for me. I went to the dermatologist before I started my heavy black work. I hope you are on the mend soon! You totally made the right choice for removal. Your tattoos are still beautiful!
I think it’s great that you’re sharing your story in regard to this. I have a few scars from having weird moles removed. Those small scars are meaningless compared to the fact that a melanoma didn’t spread cancer through my body. Please update if you feel comfortable doing so!
Definitely commenting to boost. I’ve got a few moles/freckles and tattoos. This feels like some pretty important information tbh
I also have tons of moles and I want a lot more tattoos in the future. Thank you for sharing this helpful information! Honestly I've never even thought to monitor my moles and freckles, but now I'm going to start keeping track!
This is something I’ve never heard anyone talk about!! This is something that I definitely need to think about now. My mom had to have a patch of skin on her ankle removed about the size of a palm because of a mole she let be for far too long.
This is actually super interesting because i am someone with skin which is a lil freckly /moley and its good to keep this in mind if i get tattoos
Really great video! I appreciate you making this so much. I'm from a region with a lot of skin cancer, and it's been in my family, so it's always been somewhat on my mind. I had a mole removed when I was a bit younger but haven't really thought that much about it in regards to my tattoos. Another commenter said they take photos of their skin before a tattoo and that's such a good idea, I'm gonna have to do that in the future. Again thanks for making this video! Very very important information, it's something that is so preventable if caught early but can be so devastating without the proper healthcare. It's so important people are educated about this.
I love your little skits so much oh my god hahahaha! But honestly, thank you for making this video, skin cancer runs on both sides of my family and as I've started to get more tattoos, it's never really crossed my mind about possible medical hinderances before.
This was very informative, thank you for sharing! I'm happy they didn't make you take out the footage. There is nothing gross about it all, it's skin and we all have it!
I got moles and freckles galore. I have some moles I watch closely. Best of luck on your moles!
love it when you talk about specific tattoo topics like these! i know this likely wont be a problem for me but now I can send some useful advice to my fair-skinned friends
I’m so glad you made this video. I have tattoos and I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never thought that this might happen to me. Good to know now though
Also I shared this to my own phone number I have no clue if that helps, liked & commented twice, ima do whatever I can to support mama quack
Qcknd, thank you so much for making and uploading this video! As someone who also has freckles and moles, but also enjoys getting tattoos, this information was very much needed but not easy to find and learn about! I've gained so much knowledge from your videos and I appreciate your care and research that goes into each one! Love you
I hope your results come back okay. That's a scary situation. Health situations are so stressful.
I'm 24 and I've been having very troubling symptoms that caused me to go to an emergency room. Have to go for an endoscopy to look for abnormalities (hoping it's just an ulcer or diverticulitis)
Take care! Love all your vids!!
I also try to be the perfect patience, I don't want to make the medical person hate me! Wonderful information to keep on thinking about. I myself is freckled, I have used them in my tattoo planning, I never wanted to cover them because I love them. I try to think of what would look good in the empty space of the clusters of freckles. Now I will make sure I'm checking on mine for new ones, as well on my partners. ❤️
Wow this is a timely video... I had a skin biopsy yesterday, and the mole was RIGHT next to my tattoo, and I was definitely thinking about this...
