Anna while watching video, for a moment I was in tears..yes, i am the one who feel " what I have studied and what I am doing" very painfully, i go to office on Mondays..in my 16 yrs of experience I never had a job satisfaction..i wanted to quit this but can't due to commitments and responsibilities..if my kids get freedom of learning..I will be the one among happiest parents!! I really appreciate the changes.
This is exactly my vision too.
You know when I explained this to teachers in my school they looked at me like a monster and said what a crap I am telling them not only teachers even current principals also said it won't work.
This policy will be successful only when we educate teachers.
Our BED which is a basic teaching qualification should be updated first.

For this methodology, teachers requires lot of skill. unfortunately our current teachers attitude is mostly timepass and money.
For this more planning and more preparation and spending time is required. which our current teaching feternity don't have.

I am clearly seeing the difference in dedication and attitude of teachers.
At this current stage, I doubt our system is ready for this.

Currently reality is Old school named X which was teaching state syllabus has emerged as X- Global with CBSE but the same mugup mindset and continuing the same but fees raised 1.3 lac 1.4 lac 1.5 lac etc and art based learnings is all extra payment or pay 2lac as tution fee, more sorrow part is they installed smart boards and are using them to play videos.
You are right, if this is implemented this is going to hurt the nation and hurt the economy as well. The govt wants to give birth to a premature baby and expect it run as soon it’s born! God save our children

No. I'm senior software engineer. I am seeing clearly coding is replacing with tools predominantly. But now we have AI. AI is doing coding itself. As of now, so many jobs automated by AI. We are clearly seeing the decline.

It's very good policy, already some Universities implemented this system. We live in Bangalore, recently my daughter joined for UG in Azim premji university. It's 4 years UG program, and freedom to choose the subjects as per their interest

In karnataka NEP(national education policy) has been implemented in 2021 in KUD(Karnataka University Dharwad) and after the 2023 election the present government has been removed the NEP we're the 1st Batch to be studied and studying the NEP
