And I think McDermott handled it perfectly saying, at the end of the day, we still need to win the game on the field.
Yes, some of the referee calls were very bad like the worthy “catch” but what was worse was our own play offensive calling. Yes let’s run screens versus an extremely disciplined defense. Five man protection versus the blitz everyone knew what was coming on that fourth and five. Just ridiculous
The ball touching the ground literally does not matter. How are people confused about what a catch is? He has split possession, the ball isn’t knocked out of control by the ground, and if the catch is contested it goes to the receiver. This is easy math.
worthy is wearing a white glove, there’s only ever 1 white glove on the ball that NEVER maintains possession and crashes on the floor. No catch. The only reason the ball doesn’t move much is because the DEFENDER has two gloves on it. Fail Mary all over again
@@kkl754you’re assuming that that without the worthy catch the chiefs only score 3 AND they still leave time on the clock for buffalo to score. Buffalo scoring a TD before half washed that TD. KC kicking a field goal with no time would have made it a TD game at half rather than what should have been a 4 point game if buffalo just took the PAT. If they end up scoring a TD there and killed more time it’s a 2 score game at half with Buffalo not having time to answer. The catch call kept the game closer for buffalo in the long run.
Does any one remember how Nick and Mahomes complaining about Kadarius Toney’s offside call last year? And it was actually the right call. Mahomes showed no class by bitching about it to Josh right after the game and in his press conference. Nick cried about it and defended Patrick. Now that actual bad calls are talked about, Nick gets on his high horse and calls out anyone who says a negative thing about the Chiefs. This is why nobody outside of KC can take this show seriously.
Nick is so right about the challenges, and I haven’t seen that take anywhere. I love James Cook’s response because the rest just seems so whiny especially when the vast majority whining thinks they’d have lost to Chiefs regardless of calls anyway.

Maybe I just haven't seen the video, but I haven't seen them mention the Xavier catch and Kelce running across the field to get in Bill players faces. If they talk about the KC calls, at least talk about them all.
@@awturbosp It’s not really imaginary. Kelce taunted Hamlin and the Bills got penalized for defending their guy because he flopped. Or did you forget that?
@ that is some cry baby behavior to complain about every call. No, I don’t remember any controversy with that call. Even with the way you describe it, the second guy gets called 90% of the time. So it sounds like the Bills got in their emotions and earned a penalty. Good job. And you have one more thing to dwell on for 6 months instead of taking the L like an adult. Oh, and it gives you one more thing so you don’t have to think about McDermott and Josh not being able to do anything with over 3 minutes left in the game. But yeah, it’s the refs and would have totally scored if given that 4th down conversion…
I don't disagree with Nick, but the problem with him constantly fanboy-ing for the Chiefs (and Shannon Sharpe for Mahommes and Lebron) is that when it comes to actual analysis, it's hard to know if it's a good take or a blinded-by-bias take. These guys should try to keep that stuff to a minimum.
Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane talking about the refs days after the game? Its essentially McDermott and Beane rolling over, presenting their bellies, and begging for their jobs. "Please don't fire us! Please don't fire us!" Can't be personally responsible for bad coaching and management, if "They" control the game and the Bills never could have won it in the first place
I really hope Buffalo figures it out. Josh Allen has too much talent to waste without someone capable of pushing him to the next level. This is a losing mentality… you’ll never beat the best wasting energy feeling sorry for yourself. Period.
Remember when KC got STUFFED before the challenge on a “free play” cause they THEN allowed the challenge, THAT WAS DENIED, then the Chiefs get to run that play again and score? Yeah. It’s all legit.
Wrong, he was talking about his lame RT and they way he lines up to deep and gets called for an illegal formation. The refs give all teams that curiosity to tackles and WR's if asked, if you don't ask they can call the penalty.
Nick is right! Be better, the REFS need to be BETTER! The Bills were better, The Chiefs were not and you could clearly see that the Chiefs needed the refs to win. That
Regardless of if it’s Pat doing it after losing to the Bills, or McDermott doing it now, or anyone doing it in general, blaming the refs as a player or coach is absolutely loser behavior
I was always taught by my coaches To never expect a call to go your way. If winning or losing a matchup depends on the decision of a call, then you didn't deserve a win. You might still get a win, but not because you deserve it. I think blaming the refs for your loss, even if it came down to one bad call. Definitively is loser behavior
Now the bills are just crybaby’s bro 😂the refs helped the bills more against the ravens than they did the chiefs boo hoo to the team known for losing 😂
That is totally accurate. If the Bills want want to go forward they better not adopt this attitude. The next phase for them will be decline. They too are now the hunted how will they handle it.
Also. McDernott went for 2 way to early. In the first half, you kick the PAT. Zero reason to go for 2 there, Its chasing points and it caused him to have to attempt another 2.
I think Chris is right. Coaches are always trying to get more calls, being vocal about officiating decisions you don’t agree with and can potentially impact future ones. Game within the game.
Bills had the ball down 3 with less than 2 minutes left. They didn't get cheated by the refs, they got outcoached on that 4th down play and lost. If they want to keep blaming the refs instead of looking in the mirror, they will continue to lose these games.
superstars get calls in every sport. can we just admit that? we talk about veteran calls and rookie calls in the nba all the time. nick arguing here is just ridiculous. he used the phrase "magic pixie dust" to explain tom brady getting calls when he was still playing. fans can never see the favorability in their own team's calls.
Quick question for Brou: Where has Brouto gone?! All this defending of players/coaches making excuses coming from the man that says "people be soft these days".
My take on this is Chefs only beat other teams by smallest margin, so each refs mistake is huge, if Chefs fans don’t wanna us to talk about refs then win some convincing games.
Do people forget Brady tracking down a ref and following him screaming at the ref, some times when he’s teams lost he would walk out way before the game ended, sometimes when he’s teams gets sacked he would sneakily kick the defender who would sack him

2:55 agreed, media doesn’t even need to be aware of this..u stated it to the team, u got your fair share of calls that worked for ya and some against ya…continuing to bring it up days later is poor sportsmanship
Nick really got a lot of us rooting so hard for the Eagles in the Super Bowl 😅
You're all gonna be real disappointed then.
Okay?
He is the worst part of that chiefs fan base 😂
I suggest drinking a bunch…
@@rcmysm9123- Eagles are an excellent match up for KC so we’ll be sure to check in with you if Phillie wins. KC is favored and that makes sense, but let’s play the game…
Really funny how much the bad call thing triggers Nick. The only reason that it does is because deep down he knows there is some legitimacy to the accusations. The chiefs are a great team…also they have gotten a lot of beneficial calls in do or die situations.
It’s funny how those were “do or die” situations. The narrative doesn’t make sense or hold up to scrutiny. But if the internet people say it….
Name them. It should be easy.
Seems like 75% of people think they are cheating and the rest, naw ya'll blind
Women lie men lie but numbers don't lie. Josh Allen gets more rouging the passer calls. The Chiefs get the most offsides penalties
I like how they don’t deny the Bills got the first down, they say it’s bad to criticize the refs.
Well because no one knows for certain if they got the first down, no matter how much Chiefs haters insist they did.
What !?! No one knows for certain if they got the first down. 😂😂😂right ......okay
@@evinsonduprat1830Where's your proof that he did? And no, your opinion is not proof.
@ The fact that people legitimately think that adding more laughing emojis to their comment fortifies their argument beyond scrutinization is a clear indication that our education system has thoroughly failed us. What proof do you have that he clearly and obviously got it besides your bias?
He is right !!! The majority of people see it besides chiefs fans.
Nick is absolutely insufferable when it comes to his Chiefs. He can't be unbiased, and ends up sounding like a Patriots simp in the 2000's, or a Cowboys fan in the late 1990's.
This term gets thrown around too much. A person can't be bias about a team if their takes are nearly 100% correct on them. It's called being fair and accurate, at that point.
My thoughts exactly
He's a fan defending his team.. This is something that if it's in the heads of the Eagles they are mentally beat before the Superbowl starts..
What fan doesn’t talk like Nick does about their favorite team or players??? 99% of the time, a fan will always side with their team.
@@ScorpioKing81- we’re not on national tv getting paid big money to do a show and objectively present things on various topics. When watching a sports show, we shouldn’t be subjected to incessant cheerleading. McCoy does similarly on the morning show.
Is Nick going to pretend Mahomes didn’t have the biggest hissy fit on national TV after he complained about the refs “ruining greatness” ?
He owned up to it after that game. Heat of the moment thing. Bills had this complain mentality before the even game started.
Correct.
@@Adrian-tv3ku heat of the "moment" that lasted 30 minutes? Bills had never had a "complain mentality" show me one Bills player complaining. Pure fantasy.
That's for the original comment. Mahomes was sus.
He said that Mahomes shouldn’t have acted that way back when it happened
They really can't cope with the loss. Buffalo needs some fresh air.
If you have been in any lockeroom in an away game, you know what Greg is talking about, unlike Nick.
The same Bills who got a controversial DPI on 3rd down that later gave them a touchdown against the Ravens? Were the refs being payed off then too?
It was the same Bills team that had their drive derailed over a phantom hold on Dawkins after Lamar’s interception yes.
lol didn't give them a touch down it extended the drive while it was tricky tacky call, nowhere near as textbook blocking holding of a make-up call that stalled the drive against Dawkin that would make it wash.
@@Raven-dx8cy It extended the drive to red zone which resulted in a touchdown so the fact that you can’t see that cope harder.
@@larry2281 Exactly, bad calls happens it’s the game. Just don’t be mad when they benefit the team you dislike.
LOL it will be fine dont beat your dog over it buttercup
Love how sensitive nick started defending chiefs. Crazy to see how hypocritical his takes are but not so surprised now.
He’ll defend every blade of grass at GEHA stadium…
I love all the hate for my Chiefs cause it feels so good to see so many cry 😢after the games! Go Chiefs
He was clearly right, whether Nick likes it or not
Did Al-Qaeda make excuses?
Media wants to put it out there
If you are an impartial fan it is so obvious the refs are changing games. What narrative is it they want to push. The refs with a few calls here and there can change the game easy. As we saw in the Bills game.
Boohoo
Bills had the ball with 3 minutes left and time outs! There's no excuses for losing that game 🤡
@ironmike4465 Yep and the flag was already thrown in case they made the play. This must be another conspiracy theory that 2 years from now will become facts.
After all of that , didn't the Bills have the Football with 3 mins with 3 Timeouts to Win the Game!
what's your point? that its fine to have horrible refing, and fine to take away a possession from Buffalo and give to KC as long as they still have 1 chance at the end? THis is the most tired take I've seen all over? make it make sense.
Its apart of sports...yes there are 50/50 calls that go against....yes the big superstars get a call or two they way....but u got the rock...3 minutes and 3 timeouts....thats on the Bills for not making it happen, period@@donkeybus
@ Obviouslty it's on the Bills to make plays, its on the refs to make calls. its on the nfl to make it as fair as possible with their billions of dollars. IT doesn't matter what coaching decisions the coaches make, it's still the refs job to call as fair of a game as possible. The nfl is totally failing at this.
Every sports fan sees how bad it is, only cheerleaders who want the nfl to be only entertainment and not sports are making this kind of brain dead argument.
@@xavianlittle3865 Buddy I hate that argument; who cares if they had the ball? The refs still cheated
Don’t forget if Kincaid catches that last buffalo play on 4th & 5 where Allen heaved up a prayer. the ref’s threw a flag just in case he caught it, after he dropped it they picked up the flag lol.
When literally every coach in the league is telling theyre players this and everybody in america watching the calls and thannoucers calling it bs and all of sports media exept nick says the calls favor kc its objectivly fact not loser behavior
The fans saw all of it. We know our coaches can't say anything directly. But we want to hear that our coach isn't an idiot and that they actually can see the same bad calls we are seeing.
Also not giving the ball do Dalvin Cook on the last drive. He was clearly having a good game against them.
worthy is wearing a white glove, there’s only ever 1 white glove on the ball that NEVER maintains possession and crashes on the floor. No catch. The only reason the ball doesn’t move much is because the DEFENDER has two gloves on it. Fail Mary all over again
@@humantwist-offcap9514right
@@Davo_915 didn't know dalvin cook was a bill lol
“He was wearing a flannel!” Says the guy wearing a flannel.
Didn’t know the refs had to do with Josh having over 3 mins left,3 timeouts, only down 3 and not scoring at all🤷🏾♂️
The refs changed the trajectory of the game. You're living in la la land if you don't realize that.
So Allen having the ball at the end makes it okay for the refs to cheat?
@@grape9055- exactly. The turnover on downs was a big momentum swing…the Worthy catch could have resulted in a 4 point difference…
Lost the game on all those 3s to honor Damar Hamlin. Absolute class 🙏
That dude with the big nose is exactly how I imagine Chiefs fans look and sound
I just know Nick Wright’s already mad
uou mad ncca
It’s crazy how little they have to talk about leading up to the Super Bowl
Does any one remember how Nick and Mahomes complaining about Kadarius Toney’s offside call last year? And it was actually the right call. Mahomes showed no class by bitching about it to Josh right after the game and in his press conference. Nick cried about it and defended Patrick. Now that actual bad calls are talked about, Nick gets on his high horse and calls out anyone who says a negative thing about the Chiefs. This is why nobody outside of KC can take this show seriously.
Nick is only emotional because it’s his team. If this was reverse he’d be asking for the bills to be checked for gambling
The reason why two professional head coaches of two really good franchises is saying these things is because it’s f*ckin true!
Nick is so right about the challenges, and I haven’t seen that take anywhere. I love James Cook’s response because the rest just seems so whiny especially when the vast majority whining thinks they’d have lost to Chiefs regardless of calls anyway.
Greg: Here's my player experience.
Chris: Here's my journalism experience.
KW: I watched the whole interview.
Nick: Cry babies! My team won!
Most of the people commenting never even played a team sport in their life and never had a coach. Lol
Indeed, I have. Mcdermott's statement is disgraceful. Sad to say but the Bills are done.
@ That’s fine, I’m not even a bills fan. A coach telling his players not to rely on calls from the refs is not disgraceful. And t ball doesn’t count bud
I think Nick forgot that Patrick Mahomes cried and blamed the refs last year after the Bills beat him. He went on for a week about. Nick never said loser behavior.. Double standard... 🤔💯
All coaches tell their players not to leave it in the hands of the refs
Maybe I just haven't seen the video, but I haven't seen them mention the Xavier catch and Kelce running across the field to get in Bill players faces. If they talk about the KC calls, at least talk about them all.
Wut? Now you’re crying about some imaginary slight by Kelce too? Jesus, you people never run out of excuses.
McDermott trying to save his job. A lot of fans are criticizing his play calling...justifyingly so.
One time Mahommes didn't get the call. Cried about the refs directly to Josh Allen
Loser behavior, get em Nick I love it
Now Nick is admitting the game was fixed, but Buffalo should have been better prepared for LO.L
Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane talking about the refs days after the game?
Its essentially McDermott and Beane rolling over, presenting their bellies, and begging for their jobs. "Please don't fire us! Please don't fire us!"
Can't be personally responsible for bad coaching and management, if "They" control the game and the Bills never could have won it in the first place
People talking aboit everything besides josh allen choking the game with 3 mins left
Refs wanted swift I’m not watching superbowl
Nick was lowk cookin with that “real football play” comment
It should not be controversial to say some teams get officiated differently. Anyone who has watched a Duke basketball game knows this.
The greatest sports show EVER!
The greatest big 3 of all time!❤
This demonstrates how a team loses from top to bottom. Low IQ football among the factors shown as well here.
I really hope Buffalo figures it out. Josh Allen has too much talent to waste without someone capable of pushing him to the next level. This is a losing mentality… you’ll never beat the best wasting energy feeling sorry for yourself. Period.
100% nobody is winning any calls vs the Chiefs, thats just what it is!!!!
Remember when KC got STUFFED before the challenge on a “free play” cause they THEN allowed the challenge, THAT WAS DENIED, then the Chiefs get to run that play again and score? Yeah. It’s all legit.
Mahomes to ref, “Let me know when the defense gets close.” 🤔
Wrong, he was talking about his lame RT and they way he lines up to deep and gets called for an illegal formation. The refs give all teams that curiosity to tackles and WR's if asked, if you don't ask they can call the penalty.
Nick is right! Be better, the REFS need to be BETTER! The Bills were better, The Chiefs were not and you could clearly see that the Chiefs needed the refs to win. That
I don’t like it because it puts more pressure on players to be perfect - not surprised Josh came out first drive and misfired
Nick went full Gene Wilder today. Wonka Wonka Wonka!
As John Hardbaugh should have said the same about the Bills as Baltimore got no calls there way .
Every coach shoud tell their team that every game if you looking for the refs to save you then you already lost
I hope Siriani say this to the Eagles..LOL
Was it loser behavior when Nick and LeBron complained about the officiating after game 1 in 2018 finals?
Sean McDermott approached the game like a coward, the Bills did not have a chance with coaching like that.
total nonsense, you're just as delusional as Nick
You have never even played a sport before
It’s getting corny with the ref excuses
Quick question for Brou: Where has Brouto gone?!
All this defending of players/coaches making excuses coming from the man that says "people be soft these days".
They called PI on mcduffie in the end zone and it was a 50/50 call. These refs aren’t rigging for the chiefs people.
bills will ask the NFL to change the rules to not allow anymore 3peats
My take on this is Chefs only beat other teams by smallest margin, so each refs mistake is huge, if Chefs fans don’t wanna us to talk about refs then win some convincing games.
Of course HES right
Ravens catch out of bounds started this convo and we are still here, whew
Really funny as a non chiefs fan watching seemingly the full league lose the plot...tinpot, small minded nonsense. Keep it in house guys
Do people forget Brady tracking down a ref and following him screaming at the ref, some times when he’s teams lost he would walk out way before the game ended, sometimes when he’s teams gets sacked he would sneakily kick the defender who would sack him
