Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself and it is not the same as forgetting. Forgiveness does not mean allowing the same thing to happen you again, it means releasing the anger and allowing yourself to find joy in life again. I spent walking with my hatred and anger and it only did me harm, and the people who originally harmed me were in no way affected by it. Only me. So i let go and forgave them and now i am truly free of those events and the pain i carried for so long.

@@jessegreywolf I speak for my ancestors in the spirit world. There shall be no forgiveness issued for Genocide. This does not mean I cannot find joy in life. It means I find no joy in evil, settler colonialism.
I am Mi'kmaq. I will never surrender. My joy isn't my concern. The joy of the future generations is.

How does DEI fit into that, it is the opposite 🤔 of what you just described. It's a grading system based upon one's likes and dislikes, it's judgment without true rules. Mandated diversity? Forced inclusion, and equity based upon what? If I feel like a whipped puppy in the morning does everyone have to instinctually know this and that you as such??? Leave that out of your program, it doesn't fit with the others.
