My wife stopped breathing for about a minute during covid. My boy laid his hands on her and said Jesus please bring my mommy back. I stood in front of my wife and said Sherie wake up. Healing gifts have not ceased today. “Ye of little faith!” As Jesus would say to His disciples.
If someone had this gift they would’ve been healed cancer patients buddy and aids etc .

They did! I have seen it myself. The healer healed 300 people with aids and with cancer @@get2it7
Only the last 4 months God Heald at least more than 20 people using my life.

Got questions ministries the gifts of healings and the working of miracles along with the other seven gifts recorded in 1 Cor 12 are still in the Church today.
The Bible says that God will never take His gifts away from the church (God's people).
God has given me the gifts of healings and uses me to do miracles.
As a medical massage therapist for 20 years I'm so tired of this ministry. It's exhausting yes its been rewarding and I've helped thousands of people. I'm tired and have struggled to earn a living at it. I've been trying to change careers for a few years now and nothing is working. I'm just so tired I have chronic pain from injuries so I've even cried silently during sessions because of my back and neck pain. How am I supposed to heal people when I'm in so much pain too. Please Jesus give me another ministry where I can thrive.

Here is some more scripture for you. If there is someone amongst you who is in need of healing and there is no one who has the gift of healing. Gather yourselves together in one accord agreeing as one and pray to the Father in My Name asking for healing and He will raise up someone amongst you with the gift of healing. This is how you you get a healer if you don't already have one. Scripture also says that if a male child is feminine or female child is masculine this is a sickness of the mind and if you take them before the elders of the church and have them pray over them and anoint them with oil, they will recover from their sickness.
If the gift is real, why don’t people go and clear out hospitals?
Two things off the top of my head:
Much also depends on the receiver of the healing. There are a number of occasions where Jesus said words like, "May it be done to you according to your faith." There is also one occasion in Acts where Paul saw someone had faith before he healed him.
Everyone will die eventually, as long as the Lord has not yet returned, and there are times when the people of God are ready to go home to Him.
I prayed for several people in the hospital and they were healed.
Why don't I go into a hospital and clear it out? It's a very good question and a dream of mine.
First off I only pray for people that want prayer. Secondly you usually have to believe in it for it to work/hold. Third healing often involves Deliverance. The person needs the Holy Spirit or the situation can become worse down the road.
4th.. you would be booted out of the hospital for messing with their money

3. They don’t. The Holy Spirit had not come yet and Jesus healed

GQ I want you to know you have greatly helped me on my journey with Christ or as Paul would say my race. My friends I do believe you are wrong on this matter as there has to be things "read into" the scriptures to take this as a fact. I believe the Bible is the holy infallible word of God, if you were locked away and had nothing but the scriptures with no other outside influences I guarantee you wouldn't be in the camp of the gift of healing has ceased as it is a completely unbiblical view. It's a view thats taken because it makes you comfortable, you don't have to step out of your comfort zone like how the Lord wants you to be. I believe the problem is simply a lack of faith. Take Jesus at his word plain and simple.

If Healing was by the 'Pray-er', they could simply go and empty out Children's Hospitals
@@Brucev7 Faith to believe they can do the things they say they can when they call upon the name of Jesus. If they don't have the faith nothing will happen. I challenge you to have faith and not even clear out a children's hospital just clear out one room and send a child home in Jesus name.

Jesus never healed a single person outside of direction by the Father, given that Jesus says several times He doesn't do anything of Himself, but only what He hears from the Father and see the Father do

Not sure how I feel about this one GQ.
On one hand we've had so many false healing ministries that it's difficult to disagree with you on this from that perspective. Perhaps it is a faith issue in that people simply don't have the faith to believe in this type of ministry and God cannot work without faith. On the other hand I've heard of healing ministries in other parts of the world that have flourished. Whether or not they are legit I don't know but I don't think it's God that's changed. I think there is so little faith in the world right now that it's difficult for God to move. We still have the majority of believers who believe evolution and can't face the possibility that an all powerful God could create the world in 6 days. There are so many believers in the church that have been influenced by the world, how can God move?
You say you're not sure why. I believe I know why. Not saying I'm perfect by any means but I'm trying very hard not to let the doubts of this world creep in and demolish my faith. God bless 🙂✝️🙏

I was healed brother. Lady prayed for my back and I felt the holy fire. Pain-free for 10 years praise God ❤
My friend herniated two discs needed surgery but I prayed for him in the hospital and he walked out 2 days later. I felt the Holy Spirit through my whole arm and he felt it all over his back. Blessings

The spiritual gift of healing is still functioning to glorify GOD! Also the others spiritual gifts are still functioning. We should never limit the Almighty GOD and it's the Spirit who gives the Believers the spiritual gifts as He wishes to glorify GOD.
2:11 if you go to the places of the world where there is a severe lack of adequate healthcare and other necessities to keep people healthy you will find those gifts at work among believers even today. Where it is needed the gifts will be active. For someone to say certain gifts have ceased because they cannot see them happening anymore they base their supposition on experiential evidence. There’s nothing in the scriptures that teaches the Spirit will only provide the more supernatural gifts for a limited time while The Twelve lived among us. The one verse typically used is clearly misused when we read the passage in its entire context. It also warps the definition of some of the gifts of the Spirit. This may be a non soteriological issue but the way in which the scriptures are handled for the sake of proving a personal assumption is dangerous indeed.

Where does it say in the letters that the miraculous or gifts of healings have ceased or reduced. No where. 1 Corinthians c13 is talking about when tongues or prophecy cease. That is when the perfect comes Jesus's return for His bride US!!!!!!!!

All miraculous abilities would last only during the infancy of the Christian congregation, and it would cease once all of the apostles died by the end of the first century. Jesus and his apostles warned of future deceptive powerful works that would be done by apostates and enemies of God. Jesus performed many miracles but not everyone put faith in him.
Matthew 7:21-23 makes it clear that many would say “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?” But Jesus would say: “I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!” So those who claim to be Jesus disciples by performing miraculous healings would still fail to do what Jesus said is vital; they would not be doing the will of his Father. Making disciples by preaching was the most important work he foretold would be taking place in the last days and his true followers would have the identifying mark of love. (Matthew 28:19,20; John 13:35)
First Corinthians 13:8-10. Now you know, in addition, if you read the description of the gift of speaking in tongues, it allowed the apostles and certain others to preach to people whose language they did not speak, and people would hear the gospel preaching in their minds in their own language, so anyone who thinks that they have the gift of tongues today could stand on a street corner in Beijing, and preach to the many dialects of Chinese people, and they would all understand exactly what they were saying. @@arthouston7361 Paul said he wished everyone spoke in tongues. And it is by faith and Paul said he struggled with believing as did the 12 apostles and me.
But there needs to be a series of scripture saying the gifts have ceased or tongues not for today to believe God has altered His word.
Testimony. I speak in a he holy ghost. I have prayed for healing for dozens of people and they've been healed most of them straight away and some hours or days later . My manager and brother had lots of floaters in there eyes I prayed seconds later they vanished. My brother said it was lucky. My manager still doesn't believe in Jesus yet.
A Christian Thomas let me pray for his back and complained all the way through no healing 1 hours later he was healed. God told me delayed reaction because of Tom's complaining

i'd say the supernatural gift of healing by the Spirit is not operative (at least not as operative as the worldly church would you have believe), but its because we do not have the correct gospel.
the signs and miracles followed the gospel proclamation as a witness and testimony to their message and who it was from (God the Father)
Maybe a better question to research is how the one with a gift of healing works with the one being healed. In nearly every occasion where Jesus or one of the apostles healed someone, at least a spark of faith existed in the healed. Even James called on the sick to take the initiative to call on the leaders of the church to pray over them and annoint them with oil in the Name of the Lord (a seriously missed opportunity by the church during COVID).
I am not in agreement the gifts of healing have ceased, but I do think there is less need in some ways and more need in others, and the church is not keeping up. But I could almost wish some of the gifts had ceased seeing how some seem to abuse them for their own glory or because they love the more dramatic.

😂😂😂 the miraculous gift of healing, as a spiritual gift, does not seem to be functioning today 😂😂😂. What does that mean? And then u say God can certainly intervene in whatever manner He seems fit. You are confused. "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever" but I believe for you He is the same for only yesterday. And by the way I saw a physical healing with my own natural eyes and I myself was physically healed.
