Leaving Lake Erie heading into Detroit River live on UA-cam channel in our 40 year old Trawler. Trawler life doing America’s Great Loop
Be sure to notice the old, immense, abandoned factories lining the river. Detroit was an incredible manufacturing center in its heyday. I suggest docking at the yacht club in Gross Point --- it is friendly and a grand relic of Detroit's glory days. Your videos are great.
they dont want to stop I told them Detroit is cool, I'm across from the Detroit yacht club
Back seat driver. Chief's got it !
Live streams are great and cuts out all the behind the scenes of endless hours of video editing that People do not understand. Chief done a great job of navigating into the turbulent water entrance into the Detroit river.
Great video 👍 Pete won't have to do his 12 ounce curl's after that work out!!
Safe travels 🙏
Scott
I’m going through and watching some of your older videos. Absolutely love it! I live in Wisconsin and boat of Racine WI. I am dreaming of buying a trawler and love to hear you talking about the ford Lehmans. Even how you mentioned calling American Diesel…lots of great stuff!! Not to mention the beautiful boat and views from your videos!! Thanks from Erik and Casie!
Thanks Make sure you share them and hit me up if we are ever close
@@NoRegretsLifestyle Will do!
Squirrelly indeed.
Following Nebo is crazy. Trying to figure out where we’re going to go (when we go). Great vid. Thanks

I grew up about a mile from Lake St. Claire and know Jefferson Beach Marina. If you get a chance the Lido is a fun nautical restaurant. Last time i was there they had an old cabin cruiser inside the resturaunt. And yes the Detroit river has a a pretty good current @ 3 knots if i recall.
Ludington, Michigan... plan to stop please:)
Expect that sort of current to fight until you get into Lake Huron with a short break as you're going through Lake St. Clair. Remember, Lakes Superior, Michigan and Huron are _all_ draining through that one fairly small channel. And I believe that channel you're going through is in Canadian waters, if I'm reading my map correctly.
Yes, but we are allowed to boat into there waters and get fuel but that is it.
good job guys be safe
try making a u turn if you have a big keel like my grand banks that current pushes it like it's a big sail hahahha
Our nImble would be slow against that current
Boat out Racine Wisconsin I meant.
