What’s the point of all this if the cops who raided that house see no punishment.

I believe is the right move.
People from Every country on earth needs police protection and safety, that’s a big FACT
And most police officer are good hardworking individuals, but the truth of the matter is that there are bad police in every deportment all across the globe and that needs to be taken care of.

I'm glad to see Louisville welcome the investigation and be committed to self-improvement and reform. This is nothing but good news for police.
It's only bad news for bad police officers.

DOJ investigation removes local politics that prevent constructive action.

Jeez. They pick one of the most open and shut cases. Guy shot at the police and the police shot back. Imagine living in a world where we are okay with gun shots, but not from police officers. You are going to lose people who do this job well if you start tying their hands so much that they can't shoot back. Remember this, the guy who STARTED the shoot off has a girlfriend and she blamed HIM for Breonna's death.

Intellectual dishonest! Where did the guy shots from? What is the law in US, particularly with respect to your dwelling and perception of an intruder? Yea, America is the only country with police carrying guns and disproportionately shooting and killing minorities in their communities. I guess you will not say the same thing if the few minorities in the police force in America go out every day shooting white kids and white people. Open your eyes and engage with an open mind. Something is wrong!

@@ebisinbofacharlestitus3995 Okay, you lack the skills of reading and critical thinking. Did I say I blame that guy? No. I believe the guy operated under whatever info he had at the time. Now, let's deal with your complaint of "everyday". I'll take your source for unarmed black people shot by the police on a daily basis, if you have one. You are using emotion and not logic when it comes to this case. Breonna Taylor is a case of a wrongful death.
Now, if you want to continue down the emotional path, let's take the number of how many black people are killed in Chicago daily NOT BY THE POLICE and compare that to unarmed black people killed by the police. I'm pretty sure EVERYONE knows which number is larger. You are just a brainwashed goon.
Lastly, I don't care if white people are shot by the police as it effects me just as much as Latino, black, and Asian people.

@@kylesmith7413 the black people killing each other are criminals, police officers aren't. We the people didn't give those people guns and authority, we gave same to police officers to serve and protect. If I misrepresent your thoughts on the issue, I apologise for doing so. What I really find difficult to understand is why some Americans easily use false equivalence to justify bias positions.

@@ebisinbofacharlestitus3995 Correlation is not causation. Most cases are misrepresented, when it comes to race relations. I agree that PER CAPITA, unarmed black individuals are shot more than white by the police. Now, while I do support police training reform and the usage of body cams I do not think that will fix the problem by itself. We need to help the poverty stricken in this country, and in a meaningful way. Increasing minimum wage will not do that. We need programs that rehabilitate, as we do with prisons.
As you can see, I'm fairly progressive. So, you can believe that I'm racist or that I don't innately parse 100% of blame on the police because we can all do better. While interacting with the police I simply ask people to be cooperative as most of these shootings involve some semblance of non-cooperation, this specific case being an outlier. Trust me, I've never had a police encounter I've enjoyed and I know it's difficult but it drastically lowers the chances of force being used. Lastly, I think we need to curb bias within our media to help these situations, both ways.
All the same, I appreciate your respectful reply and apologize for my own rudeness.

F that. The arresting of the officers is justice. Until then justice has not been served for Brianna Taylor....

is the ATF allowed to keep data bases and computer records of handgun crimes yet? OR are they still stifled by old Republican policies?
