This was the first coaster I ever went on, when it was in Metroland, Gateshead. It must have been 1989-1990 and I remember it like it was yesterday. Great to see it running well - might have to take my kids to Devon soon to experience it as their first coaster too. Great channel Shawn, I keep thinking "he can't have been to....and he can't have ridden......oh, wait, he has!" legend!
Oh my god it’s true! The legendary metroland rollercoaster lives on 😮 I am so glad to see this still operational my last ride must have been as a 7 year old was so sad when metroland closed, going here asap!
Like many others...searched for this as I know the roller coaster from it's previous life. So weird seeing the same layout in a different context but nice to know the scrap man didn't get it.
My first ever rollercoaster. I notice how there is a service platform on the second loop. I can remember it coming to a stand many times when it was in its first home of Metroland. A much needed addition for emergency egress. Probably around 20 year since I've been on it. I might have to make the trip down with my kids to go on it
been on this so many times at metroland good to see its still going if I am ever passing I will call in remember once having an unlimited arm band and went back on the night after tea was able to go on like 5-10 times in a row without getting out as it was off peak great times
As a few others have said, this was the first coaster I ever rode back in Metroland in the mid 90’s. So strange to see it outdoors but glad it’s still operating!
When this was at metroland it looked quite big contained within a building but outdoors it looks much smaller. You wouldnt have thought it was the same coaster
This was a great coaster when it was at Metroland, loved it when I was a kid in the early 90s. It felt fast flying around the shopping centre over all the other amusements. I had no idea what happened to it, everyday is a school day. I wonder if that station has a roof yet 😅.
You should do a documentary on pleasure island, I'm certain that it would do well! It's also a great way to pay homage to it's brief but fascinating history
All these POV video's....not interesting at all to me personally. Hope to see the merchandise video's soon you've been saying are "coming soon" for ages.
Thanks for your feedback, of course there's a limited amount of theme parks open at this time of year however we try to vary the videos as much as possible. Our merchandise videos will be online next week

Likewise I rode it around 1993 at metroland Gateshead , it's kind of odd that is just 40 miles up the road from me now

Nice video, this type of coaster is always very simple but very enjoyable
Thank you, it's a good fun coaster
I literally live 2 minutes away from here, I had no idea you were here!
That 1st drop looks intimidating af 😂😂😂

Brilliant little kids coaster. Fun layout. To improve it a bit I’d have a tunnel and theming.
That would be great, some near misses would be awesome!

Yep, rode it today, and roof is there!
A very decent kid's coaster. A good experience. The theming's a bit rough.
Grey skies suck. Switch back to blue.
Here in Devon we only get blue skies once a year 😂
Great On Ride POV of Rampage.
Thanks for watching!
Looks Fun
It sure is
Was this the coaster that was at metroland? (indoor amusement park in the metro centre)
It was indeed
I always like it when you do the povs👍🏻
Thank you, there's plenty more to come this winter!
That is one funky family coaster.
Reminds me of the old Rattlesnake at PWH!
In fact it’s probably the same manufacturer at a guess?

Hes Shaun The Sheep! Sorry I Always Say That Joke When Someone Mentions This Park
RM Gaming Well the real name of the creator of this channel is Shawn....Coincidence?....I think so.
Yeah I Know I Was Talking About The Park BTW, But Its Fine :)
Baaahh!
Hi I would like to go on this coaster and by the way I could watch you videos all day
Why are all the adults sat on the left and all the kids on the right? would have thought they would try and balance it out more.
