  • PAV BHAJI - QUICK & EASY JHUT PHUT VEGETARIAN RECIPE ALL TIME FAVORITE STREET FOOD, LIKED BY ALL
    serves : 4 persons
    Cooking time: 30 minutes
    Ingredients:
    _ 2 Big potatoes boiled and diced
    _ 1 small capsicum
    _ 1 big carrot
    _ 1 small cauliflower
    _ 1 cup green peas
    _ 1 small onion
    _ 1 Tbsp crushed garlic
    _ 1 Tbsp crushed ginger
    _ 1 tsp chili paste
    _ 1/2 + 1/4 turmeric powder
    _ salt to taste
    _ 1 Tbsp pav bhaji masala**
    _ 20 gms + 20 gms butter
    _ 1 Tbsp lemon juice
    _ Pav 1 packet
    _ Oil 2 Tbsp
    _ 2 +water 1 cup water
    Garnish
    _ Chopped onion + chopped coriander leaves+ chopped green chilies + lemon slices.
    ** Pav bhaji masala is easily available in shelves in super markets.
    but if not available recipe is enclosed in the video. can be made and stored.
    First of all cut all the vegetables and boil in two cups of water with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
    Once vegetables are soft strain and keep the water. Mash the vegetables and keep aside.
    In another heavy bottomed pan add 2 Tbsp oil and add 1 sliced onion.
    Put 20 gm butter . Fry until onions are golden. add chili paste and ginger garlic, Next add mashed vegetables and using a potato mesh make it smooth. add in remaining turmeric powder and Pav bhaji masala along with 20 gm more butter. keep mixing and stirring. Adjust salt to taste.
    Cook for ten minutes. Bhaji is done.
    Serve hot with fried Pav , onions, green chili, coriander, lemon and butter.
