Love these shows. So nostalgic and appreciate how clear they are. Wonder if the deadly amphibians who want to rule the world and have no use for the rest of us have the last name of Schwab. Is this the original WEF? "We've been invaded by Amphibians!" YUP.
...alright!! ..weekend at the Grandparents in the '60's..thanks TooleMan! :)
Looking forward to it, I don’t seem to remember seeing this one when I was kid, although I’m pretty sure I NEVER missed an episode.
What I would give to see Captain Kirk and Spock materialize in and offer help 🤣🖖🏻
With a security detachment, too.
Oh, no.
You're not a comic reader, by any chance?
Nothing worse than a cross-over.
i just know kowalski will come through and save the brave men of the seaview yet again!
lol absolutely
Kowalski and the Captain y faves . Chip does a good job too… the show needed a little more comic satire I think though… 🤔
@@Shroedinger73True. According to some stories, Irwin didn't necessarily have a sense of humor. Maybe the network didn't either (?) Stories go that Richard Basehart and David Hedison hoped to add levity but were challenged on that by Irwin. Humor would have been nice in those latter run spook tales. Australian fan Stu Oz suggests that Irwin's absence with Land of the Giants preparation may have allowed some levity through...Check such episodes as Return of Blackbeard and Terrible Leprechaun. The Lobster Man also has some good quips and gags. This kind of humor may have made the proceedings more tolerable for cast members not enamored with "Grim" all the time. I've heard that Return of Blackbeard's humor wasn't well received by the audience originally, but I have no confirmation here.
And Patterson will help him.
Looks like an explosive episode!💥
Very much so.
Absolutely Fantastic, thank you Toolman.
Love Toolman TV....
I tried to watch it on that other channel it looks like they filmed it with a potato
I never heard it put quite that way, but yeah. That sums it up!
lol I love how they both look at the captain like he’s crazy that he saw something 🫠 after all the crazy creatures there already seen 😂
Also that Kowalski can talk with a regulator in his mouth🫡 and that everyone on the ship is an electronic technician a radar specialist a mechanical engineer etc. best trained sailors ever born…
Not nit picking it makes the show campy and forced your brain 🧠 to overlook the absurdity and accept the entertainment of science fiction 🥳🤩😎🎥🎬🍿📽️📼
There was a solution to the "underwater speaking" proposed, but those special masks were too expensive to obtain and required too much time to fit. One way to see it is that they DO have these things, really the only way to "chat", etc. In our "imaginations," of course. The Gold Key Voyage comics offered a variety of suits which would have worked in deep water Situations....but which would have been too expensive to utilize on TV.
Throat Mike?
You don't need to use your mouth, to communicate.
Although, I didn't spot him wearing one.
I assume, given who normally uses them, in the real world, that they're water proof.
Loved ❤️ Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea as a boy ...but now I cherish the series.. because it takes me back in time....R.I.P to All the cast members.. of the Series..
Amen.
Welcome aboard!
That voice sounds like Don Matheson of Land of the Giants.
It is.
It is 😊
Sunday night at Dad's.
Remembering to apply the Suspension of Disbelief in order to accept some of the more very silly Aspects of the show
I love ya Toolman, and the upconversion is spectacular but this is second of those ones I had to turn off when the creature started talking. Who wrote this shit? Part of the problem is the straightford way it was shot instead of spooky. Anyway, keep up coming. Two out of a lot is still a pretty good record.
Ahh, the SEAVIEW; the ENTERPRISE of the ocean!
I wish I could see the first season in b&w somewhere
As good as Shatner is as an actor Basehart is better
Both Basehart and Shatner starred together in several films. Worth looking into.
I was 8 years old and in the 3rd grade when this episode aired. Chtistmas season 1967.
I was 17. Crushing on capt. Crain ❤
A wonderful episode
Finally realized Star Trek is just a rip off of voyage.
Absolutely!
@@TooleManTV thank you !
I want to party with the amphibians. They are so cool looking.
The creature was right in one respect. Humans are animals.
Is it just me, or do I see a type of hearing 👂 aid behind the doc's left ear ?
Even in this show, the red shirts are always doomed.
I WISH THEY WOULD REDO THE SHOW FOR TODAY...
I love monstruos 😍
I love the
1:48 Fourth Seaview Rock and Roll! This is getting ridiculous.
Is Nelson a litterbug? He screwed up that printout and threw it on the periscope island 🙂
😆
R.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
1:38 THIRD Seaview Rock and Roll!
1:32 Second Seaview Rock and Roll!
