Oh, now we get something interesting. So dragons become birds of prey, but only partially shift, while retaining some draconic traits? The rules of this plane get more interesting by the day. I wonder what happened to Loot? But until we find out, we'll have to be happy with Ral getting a chance to show his stuff, while also getting to know his new friends. Thanks for another wonderful chapter, and I can't wait for the next episode!
_Party fights off necromancers while on a quest to investigate angry living natural disasters_ *Zoraline*: "I predict great danger in our future" YES THANK YOU ZORALINE. Stunningly helpful as always. _Party learns that the villain has stolen what is essentially the egg of a god_ *Zoraline*: "The stars tell me that the egg is important" DO THEY, ZORALINE? DO THEY REALLY?
Four wings. For a minute I was afraid it was Bolas, but 4 wings! Did a Kolaghan dragon learn to planeswalk or can living beings be brought across the blind eternitities now. A lightning blasting mystery!!!
I suppose the time crunch involved in trying to get this story out fast enough to please Wizards might have played a role. The author was too busy trying to get the story written to find out how much smoke peat produced. Or her source on peat was wrong.

I'll bet that the interplanar magic that suffuses dragons thanks to the Ur-dragon is why they partially keep their form.
Take a shot every time the story mentions Ral's 'blue-grey eyes'
At least its still better than "blue orbs" lmao

Stop hating on Zora, she's been awake for about 15m of these past few days and is just doing her best to keep up.
So I take it Kolagahn has survived being Phyrexianized and had now made herself over to Bloomburrow.
It was never confirmed it was Kolagahan in the art for Invasion of Tarkir.
@@Prodigal_Sun yee, besides arent their brood supposed look like them 💀
Ral be like: Bird Like Dragon which wields Lightning....Damn it Beleren! What in bloomburrow are you planning.
So I guess that Dragon-Bird is the teaser for the Tarkir set next year
I keep coming back to see when the next episode drops. I should not have started these until they were all out the wait is killing me

Did you miss the whole Omenpath thing? :D
Thanks to those things non-walker can effectivly visit other planes.
The story has been about normal things being able to travel between planes for over a year
That was surely a Kolagahn dragon, right? Four wings plus lightning
Possibly Kolaghan herself. The teasers hinted at this being a legendary creature.
I mean lightning eyes colour multiple wings yeah that and we were told this current saga is about dragons rather then Kellen
@@Itachi45481 If Kolaghan became a bird, I'd be so sad. Do you have any idea how hard it will be to build a red-black bird commander deck?!
@@Rowrin I'm sure its just on this plane
Itll be a dragon bird @Rowrin
> crackled with power
reprint Crackle with Power??? /j/j
if it wasnt reprinted on OTJ it would have been even funier
I already commented on the last one, but I'm so happy these exist, thank you
That was pretty cool. I'm glad Ral got to use some magic!
Weasel-folk being the enemy?!?! 😮
Holy crap, a dragon!
The comment about using a spell to burn peat without smoke is a bit weird considering how peat briquettes famously burn nearly smokeless.

Kinda like the Thunderbird vibes ❤
Can't have a set without a SINGLE dragon 😂
Of course!😂
Is there a reason that the iconic creature type for red shouldn't appear in a set?
Dragons? in MY Dragonstorm arc? it's more likely than you think.
Yes! In a set conveniently called dragons-maze!😅
I am just happy in finaly having a set without a single human.
This is so cool and these are great
Bird reminds me a lot of Kolaghan from dragons of tarkir.
I love this story so much
So who here thinks the Dragon is part of the new symbol cycle MaRo mentioned in his preview?
yayy
😡 Ral better leave thay damn relay tower at home... Unless its a cute animal Relay Tower with like a tree seed cap in which case maybe....
Yea. Needs to get Furryfied or get the F out of our cute Woods!
Calling it here: The egg is Maha's unborn child and Mama Maha is p.o.'ed.
Now i feel like magic the gathering, finally...
It's not Ugin, but I want Ugin back!
Yippee
We want Nicol Bolas back
I bet it's coming haha
No, if anything not yet. Let the brothers work shit out.
The dialouge in this is terrible, but I do enjoy the worldbuilding so far
I agree, dialogue seems really unrealistic, but the world is magnificent
Worldbuilding has always been the real gem of Magic lore. The story was never that good.
I like the way the dialog goes, due to how it fits with the Childrens Story style, which I like for the setting (but agree it could be better:) )
