To help your dog get used to his new steps, start by laying the steps flat on the floor. Next, place treats around the steps to help him feel comfortable being near them.
Once he feels comfortable with that, you can use treats to encourage your dog to place his paws on the steps and eventually walk across them while it's flat on the ground.
When he's feeling confident around his new steps & ramp combo, use treats to help him practice walking up the steps to get onto your couch. With a bit of practice and some tasty treats, your dog will soon be able to walk up the steps and join you for your next movie night.
