Not sure why people believe that ten Hag will definitely turn this around. It's based on hope and not on actual sound reasoning. I wanted him out and think he'll be gone by Christmas after the same failings we've seen this season show up again next season.
Because they saw him finish 3rd, get to 2 finals and win one in his first season. Last season was an anomaly not the norm.
He played most of the season without a proper CB pairing and no LB. Chelsea, Newcastle and United we hit by bad injuries and obviously finished lower than expected in the league. Anyone with some football knowledge would know this.

None of his supporters have given me any compelling reasons why he should stay. When they say injuries, all I hear is that he is a manager who can only win in a best case scenario and has no answer to questions posed by injuries and poor form

Just because he stays, doesn't mean his there, man. It could mean they just couldn't get a suitable replacement. As for the new contract, they always had to give him a new contract, no manager goes into last year of contract, without new contract talks.

I am very nervous, his transfers have been shit (Antony, mount, Onana etc) his tactics the donut formation has been pathetic and excused due to injuries, his in game management has also been shit, however, last 4/5 games esp as Bruno was injured and he was forced to change setup and play amrabat IN midfield supporting maineo, THAT has saved him, the options were poor so we will see

The only new information was the FA Cup final. The rip it up was within a week before that. Flex was 100% out , it would be understandable if he was more 70/30% and has been swayed but going from 100% one way to 100% the other is very spooky

That, combined with Ten Hag getting his tactics spot on in the final, Utd beating the best team in the world (despite very long odds), and key players showing their importance after returning from injury, is all enough for someone to change their mind.
