Hey Pam! Listen, I AM ONE YOUNG BLACK GAY MAN that absolutely LOVESSSSSSSSSS ME SOME YOU!!!! You have literally inspired me to start creating again!!! I have rediscovered my love of writing and P A P E R all thanks to YOU!!!! I am surely, not sure how I stumbled across you but I am so glad I did!!!! I am definitely a new fan!!! I even sent my 10 year old niece a few links from your channel as well, she's a little crafty and needed some loving kindness in her creativity!!!! Keep It Comin' Sista!!!!! We Love You!!!!!
MissElaineous here...Wow Pam! I just discovered your channel on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. I've made 2 mini junk journals already. And just with stuff around the house. I've had some of my crafting supplies for years not knowing what to do with them, now I know. But one thing I couldn't find/didn't have...a pen slim enough to fit into the little front side pocket of the minis. So, I made my own flat pen. I also decided to hand stitch the pocket instead of gluing or machine sewing. It's SO CUTE! I was worried about screwing up, but every time I made a booboo, I just put something else on top, it works. If I knew how to send pics, I would. Thanks so much for the info/video.
Finally I have found a crafter with a great sense of humor. Maybe it is because you are my age. Thanks for the humor and great craft ideas. I'll be Bing watching all of your videos😂
this is a great idea for gifts! I just made a "travel" theme one for a friend. As an idea for others, I used the back flap folded over the cover to close it. I used small pieces of velcro to keep it closed.😃 I also added a small bag of travel themed stickers in the pocket. Just ideas in case anyone likes 👍🏼 Thanks Pam for this video!
What a great idea! There will be a couple babies to be born in the family and a couple of brides as well - baby journal and first year of marriage gratitude. Greetings from 🇨🇦🍁 Canada.
I just finished making 30 little Christmas journals for my sewing group. Wish I had waited and had seen this video first. I cut my 12 x 12 paper down and then cut pieces for pockets inside. This would have been SOOOOO much easier. Pam, You Amaze ME!!!! Maybe I will make more later that are non-Christmassy and use this process.
Love them,I don't think they necessarily need to be decorated christmassy, even though a Christmas gift,as recipient will most likely be using all year around, I think they are adorable
Was thinking the same thing =D If for gifts (not sale), you can even gear the whole thing to things the recipient loves, maybe even introducing them to the fun world of junk journaling by giving them a "mini kit". Like say, Sally loves Unicorns, Galaxies, and fancy sweets. Maybe use a galaxy paper for the cover, add in "sweets-colored" paper in signature, throw in some unicorn cutouts, sweets stuff, star shapes, etc. A mini stamp pad, a glue stick, and a tiny stamp of a star or a candy or unicorn and maybe a nice glittery gel pen. There you go... a beginner's set, set up especially for Sally, so she'll be more inclined to give it a go. She doesn't have go "full junk journal", either, but use it however she likes. Glueing in some of the univorns, stamping a star, doodling with the gel pen, but mostly just using it as maybe a gratitude journal or an ongoing shopping/wish list. The stamp, ink pad, glue stick, and gel pen are optional to toss in, too.. money can be VERY tight, but it's an idea. Sorry for any typos, i gave myself acrylics last night, and my nails are usually super short, and theseare short, but woah, it's wierd and hard to type on this phone! =D But yeah... for gifts, I'd try to gear ittowards things the recipient really likes. Great gift for guys, too. Fishing/hunting/outdoors themes, various sport themes, cars, motorcyles, vintage vehicles, tools, etc. Lots of cool things=D Thank you, Pam! Trying to stay awake, so oncehubsheads to work, I can rummage & find a few sheets of 12x12 & I'm thinking of trying with a 6x6, too... but I really wanna try to make 1 of these for hubs & 1 for me. I think he'd love having something cool he can whip out at work & jot down his task list in. Pondering... after I getthe basic idea down, adapting tomore of a TN style, so we can change out the signature quickly... may have to strengthen the cover paper. Idunno. Just thoughts.
Just had to pause Pam. Christmas and Yellow go well for us Southern Scrapers as it reminds us of the Beach, the Hot Sun and a chilled Chardy!! Love and blessing Tassie Joy
Who would have thunk to use yellow smellow paper for a Christmas project? Only you, Pam! Going to poach the ideas you shared to make Christmas card fronts using my un-Christmas scraps and neglected ink pads and stamps. Thank you for the incredibly timely inspiration. Cheers from Denver CO!
I’ve been so inspired by going down the paper outpost rabbit hole! You’re a joy to listen to as well, I watch with a smile on my face from all the funny things you say!
I love when my family comes for a visit...really, I do...but they sure mess with my free time to watch my crafting videos. I’m watching you at 9:30 pm when I usually watch first thing in the morning with my cup of coffee. 😝🤣😂. I didn’t think I’d like the yellow paper but now that you’ve inked and decorated it I actually do. 👍👍🤣. ❤️🥰
What a great idea! That kind/size of December Daily--I think I could handle--and they'd be easy to collect year after year and display with the other holiday decor--revisiting years gone by...I love it!! 🎄😎
Howdy Pam! I just made 19 of these over Thanksgiving holiday for Christmas gifts. They were a huge hit for those that received them. Thank you so much for the inspiration and great ideas!!!
Oh my gosh I totally love your enthusiasm when you talking in your videos!!! One can totally hear in your voice how much you love papercrafting! It is very inspirational to me and I enjoy putting to good use your tips and tricks when making junk journals! Thank you so much Pam! You are awesome!!!
Another great video with ideas to get creative. I don’t have washi tape, but I would have used the folded edge of the bag or an envelope and just slipped it over the open edges on the paper and glued it on.
Hi again!! I have made about 20 of these little gems, and wanted to ask if you would be willing to show us how to make a brown bag envelope to put them into as gifts!!! Thanks if you can. My neighbor asked me to make 6 for her after she saw the ones I made!! Busy craft season!!
Hi👋 The saying on the front of your journal “glædelig jul” is danish and means Merry Christmas❤️ I love your videos and always learn a lot of things. Thank you😊 Louise (from Denmark)
Hey Pam, it's always so much fun to listen to you, to watch you, you always spread good humor, I like you and your kind. When I'm not feeling so good, I feel like I'm with a friend, having a cup of tea, cheering me up by just listening and watching. At the same time you inspire me, I think of my projects and possibilities and I feel better! Thank you that you exist, otherwise you would have to be invented❣️ Many warm greetings from the German Baltic coast 💙🌾🐟🐚 PS. The booklets are really cute!
I came across your video and love it. Simple and pretty. You remind me of, Bob Ross. Mistakes happen, have fun and just go for it attitude. I will be back.
I also noticed the extra links to other fun quick project videos using the 12 x 12 paper you did in the past. I watched them today. Excited to try all the ideas! Thank you.
Love this! I am inspired and already making three of these, all very different. BTW, glaedelig jul means "Merry Christmas" in Danish (my husband is from Denmark). Jul is the source of "yuletide" in English. Glaedelig is like "glad" or "happy." Not that you were asking for the linguistic lesson, but I couldn't help myself! Thanks for all your entertaining and informative videos!
After your "little gifts" podcast I knew I wanted to make gifts for the ladies in my fam for Christmas but I didn't know what. These! Im super excited to get started. Thanks again Pam 🥰
Thanks Pam! 💕💕 I am afloat (and near going under) in 12x12, single sided, double sided, good, bad, ugly. (Ah, the “need it all” compulsions of beginning paper crafting… 🙄) So yes! I need to use it. G’morning to you, family, and the menagerie. ☕️☕️

Cute booklet......😻
Hi Pam. I'm late to the party but I just made one of these with you. Great piece. Thanks for all your suggestions.
So happy for the ideas of how to make Christmasy stuff without special Christmas papers!
Ooooo... this could be adapted to be signatures for a larger project... lots of pockets and fun signature covers...
Love how you got so much into that small but perfectly formed journal, folder. Thanx
Well great way to use a 12 x12 sheet of paper. Simple and easy to do. Have a great day. Blessings and hugs. ❤️❤️
I’ve been so inspired by going down the paper outpost rabbit hole! You’re a joy to listen to as well, I watch with a smile on my face from all the funny things you say!

@@TheCrabbyCrafterlol oh that sounds awesome to keep and display each year.... The book ...(👻) ...of Christmas past.
Thank you Pam for saying 'you get better as you go' (paraphrasing), that is encouraging. Also all the mandatory stuff is not a necessity 🤭👍🧡
😂
Howdy Pam!

I’m just a beginner but loved this idea. I signed up for your newsletter. Thanks for the good ideas!
Welcome to the wonderful world of junk journaling--these videos should come with a disclaimer: ⚠️WARNING: Highly Addictive!!! ☕️😎
Been out of the loop for a while, I was used to watching you daily. I have a bunch of videos to catch up on. Happy Thanksgiving Pam and everyone else.
Love this idea Pam. I know what I’m making my daughter-in-law for a stocking stuffer. Or… maybe her December birthday.😀
One of the best fast little journals! Thank you! The fact that it is Christmas is a bonus!
Это просто чудесно! Благодарю!
Use tissue paper red and green. Fun so any ideas are fly’n around my brain. 💯❤️✨🙏🏻🥰😂🎊
I like to use a mousepad for a cushion while stamping. This is a great project and a wonderful way to use up the ugly 12 x 12 papers
Another great video with ideas to get creative. I don’t have washi tape, but I would have used the folded edge of the bag or an envelope and just slipped it over the open edges on the paper and glued it on.
THESE ARE SO CUTE-WONDERFUL IDEAS-TFS-HUGSBLESSINGS
Adding vintage wrapping paper behind the stamped image would be awesome.
This was so fun to watch! You are such a blessing! Thanks so much for all you share! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

LOVE your screen name and pic--I just wrote in my jujo idea journal last night "Owls!!!" maybe an owl/moon journal--they're SO beautiful 🦉🤎☕️😎
