Carisi dabbing the tears off of her face? I think that was more romantic than the kiss - but I did yell "FINALLY!" when they finally kissed. If the SVU writers next season write the kiss off as a mistake, I'm out. They can't give us what we've been waiting years to only take it back. I would love to see how they navigated their relationship. In my mind, I want them married and Carisi to adopt her daughters.

I'm very glad that nearly half a million people are watching this and having the same kind of emotional involvement with these characters as I am. I thought I was crazy in being so fixated on it but I can see that so many of us are deeply deeply enjoying the meaningful mature themes of love and friendship furthered in the show by these great actors and lovable relatible characters
Oh my God, I'm so thrilled about Rollisi finally happening! When Carisi started reading his speech I saw Rollins go totally heart-eyed for him and I was yelling at the TV "Jesus, just kiss already"! And then when she touched his chest I went "oh it's happening" and by the time they kissed I was screaming for joy! Yeah I was a bit disappointed that Benson & Stabler didn't kiss, but the afterglow of Rollisi officially becoming a thing kept me happy.

Definitely, going to be a long wait till the fall (going to be playing the Rollisi moments back until then) and the Benson/Stabler moments as well. Couldn't have wished for a better season finale.

On the Rollins and Carisi, it is about time. They have basically been in love with each other for about 3 years. Carisi admitted to himself a long time ago, he was just waiting on Rollins. Rollins would come up with different reasons not to admit to herself. First it was they were partners, then he went to the DA office. In her mind, if he can leave me as my partner at work, he can leave me if we are together. Then we had the fall out of him leaving, and then the whole Bucci case, then her family came back into her life. When he was reading what he wrote, Rollins finally admitted to herself. If you noticed, the only one that didn’t met Nicole was Rollins. Carisi was gonna tell her, then she got the call about her father. Then when they were at the hospital, Rollins flat out asked him about what he was gonna tell her, yet he never answered her.
I think a chorus of hallelujah went up around the world from all of us Rollisi shippers when that kiss finally happened. Now we just have to pray the writers don’t mess this up, we have waited far to long for them to crash and burn.
Finally Liv's not alone in a crowd, she's really REALLY not alone😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 smiling at her squad, standing off to the side WITH somebody who really gets her and has her back. Somebody she doesn't have to be anything but herself for. Who's on her level. Who's happy just being in her company and watching everybody with her. Rollins and Carisi is something that I’ve wanted to come to fruition for years. The amount of emotion packed into all of their scenes, each one more layered with more nuance than the last was able to show me the strength in a romantic relationship between the two characters

His been there since they day they were born and has never let Rollins or her girls down whenever they have needed him, he drops whatever his doing and goes. He will treat those little girl as if they are his own.

Most never happened: Barba and Olivia, Finn and ME Warner, etc; and I always assumed Carisi and Rollins would just be another one of those ships that should happen, but never do. If I had to picture how I wanted SVU to turn out in the future, this is close to it. Not everyone’s there, But Olivia and Elliot are reunited, Rollins and Carissi finally kiss and even though they aren’t old school characters you still love them. Everyone’s smiling and for that short moment... happy.
1:354:19 the facial expressions just felt so like classic Benson and Stabler for a minute I caught a glimpse of them being goofy in the old squadroom in '99. And that second one, when Liv says they were each other's first partners, El's eyebrows unfurough ever so slightly and they just look at each other like "we know how that goes, don't we?" Was not prepared for the wave of nostalgia that blasted me in the chest and I mighta teared up.

I like how this ended. He just lost his wife. I’m not saying there’s a timeline for healing. Elliot needs her, but his kids need her too. They just lost their mom. Besides, while Elliot and his family still have healing to do, there still so much he doesn’t know about Liv. There’s a feeling of peace between Elliot and Olivia and that is satisfying enough.
