Moving on is a lot harder today when the heart don't forget her. The song "THE HEART DON'T LIE" fits. after over 26 years I retired from the military and found a lady that swept me off my feet and decided to move on without giving me a reason. Told me we can still be friends and I told her of course she will always be my best friend just like it was when we was together. I also told her nothing has changed with me the way I feel about her and never will. I was in special forces in the military and I don't know how to give up. That's just the way life goes sometimes and adversity builds character.

Personally I felt "Damn Good Friends" was a blatant rip-off of Tracy Lawrence's "Find Out Who Your Friends Are," right down to the fact that the song began with running a car into a ditch.
