In this California Card Room, the player is required to pay a $1.00 rake for all hands up to a $100 bet. That is the yellow chip you see me place off to the side. ALSO, Yes...I get it....I didn't play the side bet. Some of you have been VERY vocal about that. I made the decision NOT to play it on this one. This was my first time playing the game (I just so happened to film a bunch that day) and I wanted to focus on the game itself. (And yes, I still have a lot of strategy to learn.) Next time I am at a location that allows me to film this game, I will be sure to play it for you all. :)

I lot of people say you should always look at the first card. I believe you should look at the first card if you start out with a 6 or better. And if you start out with a pair 2's, 3's, 4's, or 5's, I always three times the first bet.

People who regularly watch the channel have said that they would prefer us NOT to edit anything out. I did it in a few videos but they prefer to hear the banter and see the natural "realness" and time at the table.

Was great seeing you guys get paid on some decent hands. This looks like a hard game to win at. Probably smart not playing the side bet cause I think you would have only been paid on it like two times.

They just exchange them so they don’t have so many yellow ones.

You're not playing against the dealer, you're just turning over a bunch of cards. I don't even understand how you win or lose.

The three card bet is an excellent hedge against the consistent losing hands. You would have gotten all your money back with that flush. It's about the only thing that keeps you from going completely broke on this game if you don't hit it.
I am not sure I would have gotten it all back considering how many of the three card bets I would have lost.

Totally okay you not playing the side sucker bets. Better to just play a larger ante bet instead. That being said, this is a fun little yet totally infuriating game!

We have won and lost - just like all of them. I did feel like I lost less money on this game, even when I lost more hands because I only wagered minimum each round rather than having to make a decision early on.
What kind of tiddlywinks are they using for chips at that casino? They look and sound like plastic checker pieces.
They aren't the regular casino chips. The actual chips at this casino have naked women on them which UA-cam would flag so they used other chips for us. We talked about it in earlier videos. 😁
and the house is stacked against you 100% when they don't SHUFFLE ! so my question is why are you NOT PLAYING 3 Card Bonus ?
There's an auto shuffler off screen. No side bet because it's a sucker's bet.

We filmed a lot! Lol. I knew I would be leaving to go back to New Orleans so we filmed for like 10 hours straight. I think we got 16 videos that day! Typically I can only film for an hour or two at a casino in Vegas so I took full advantage of being able to get as much as I could. They were so accommodating and even turned the music off so we wouldn't get a copyright. I totally understand the frustration of everyone about the dollar, but it was a small price to pay for the benefit we were getting to be able to film all day and such. And they gave us match play, free food, and comped a room for us - so it was totally okay.
