Hi, is it possible to make a BACKUP of a Kodi build/fork after adding additional add-ons/skins/etc to use on another Firestick or to restore if your Firestick crashes? Thanks!
go to ur settings then either zip it repo it, and see if it works.. video addons etc, and u will find them .. builds hide stuff,so its harder to find...

you can't really easily sideload on WebOS without developer tools, so, good luck trying to get builds of Kodi to run. Loading and installing is tricky on WebOS.
I just picked up the Sony tv with built in Google tv and no issues installing Kodi. But as I mention in previous posts. The Omega build is not taking and still getting the NEXUS prompt. And many of the add ons are now going Omega compatible.
I upgraded to Omega and received a rude awakening, they removed the confluence skin. I prefer this old skin because it's easy to configure and user friendly, then I went ahead uninstalled Omega then reinstalled Nexus.

So I tried to install the Omega build as again most builds are now being set up for Omega. But when I open up Kodi it still shows NEXUS. So I don't get it why it's not taking.
@@toner37 I fixed my problem I uninstalled Kodi and then installed Nexus from scratch set up all my addons and then went ahead and installed Omega over the top. When I opened Omega retained all my settings from Nexus we're still there, and I have noticed that it runs smoother and faster.
Excuse me Sir. You said there were more new skins in Kodi 21. After installing it, I discovered that there are fewer skins in 21 than there are in 20.5 . I looked in Kodi's default skin repository. Are there others anywhere else? Thank you for your time and effort.

My shield wrote over 20.5 no problem. The beauty of that is I didn’t lose my build settings

Back your settings on a wizard or back up add-on if you think it will overwrite. It hasn't deleted builds since I moved from 19.0 to 20 on a shield

The problem with Kodi is that I can't add on any repositories & can't find any links for them

Xbmc became Kodi. They changed the name from xbmc to kodi.

You can only instal kodi on a smart tv if its a android compatible tv

You have to install a build to go onto it; really easy
Kodi is basically like a virtual bookshelf or an entertainment folder. You have to add add-ons and builds in Kodi.
