In my case, and first playthrough, I wasn't going to rebell, actually. I waited years for the crown of Vlandia (spoiler: Derthert lived happily 10 years of my own kindgom existance). Slowly, all garrisons were filled with best troops from my numerous conquests, generals were leveled up and when over-powered Vlandia got into a war with 3 kingdoms, I defected. And not just defected. I had so much influence, that I countered all good laws and enacted bad ones, so half of the foreign cities rebelled (it was a trauma for me, most of them I concqured myself). I gathered all capable troops(with my party =1) and lost them in a siege on purpose. And finnaly, I attacked the Aserai caravan, so they would wage war aganist vlandia too. Then I took my troops and made a blietzkrieg on all Vlandia. Meeting Derthert was a trauma too, because he treated me as a friend still. I felt amful for him.
@Rip_Twice wanna hear how I ended my campaign? When I conquered everything, I exploited influnce drain from all kingdom once again (meaning voting myself for stopping some war and therefore getting everyone to lose influence because they always vote opposite) and kicked out all clans except mine. My clan's daily income was 400-500k. Happy end😈
After my great Khan Monchung and husband bortu fell in battle defending danustica I was voted leader, and I have gathered enough influence and every warband into one massage horde, I slaughtered and burned my way all the way to askar bringing aseria to it's knees all but a few of there nobles were killed on the spot
I took 75% of monchungs lands and all his gold he was joyfully happy with me he made peace opon request and gave me his horses and gold. My wife was super cheap one mule two sheep she married me and delivered 3 kids in 5 wars. The kids are so helpful wife has no skills 😂😂😂 literally just a blank adult slate what a deal
Bannerlord: Tips from a powergamer. Pick a corner nation as your enemy/target - Vlandia tends to work really well (and is objectively the best choice when using the armory mods), but Sturgia and Aserai also work - Avoid Khuzaits because cavalry-based militaries suck to fight early/mid game. - While Batannia tends to be the absolute easiest nation to fight, their position kind of sucks. Attack caravans/small lords until you have yourself fully geared and a pretty decent army - ONLY TARGET THE ONE NATION - Improve relations with any other faction, but primarily just focus on getting your money up. Learn how to solo or otherwise easily capture castles - there are both pure solo and army strats that work, army strats will be faster but WILL result in high casualties. Which can be an issue depending on your money and how many nearby recruits there are and the power level of the nation you've been harassing. Capture a single castle, preferably whichever one is farthest from the border and the most in the corner that you can find. Max the [redacted] out of that castle's garrison. Literally just walk back and forth between villages and cities grabbing full parties and throwing them into the garrison of your shiny new castle. Once your garrison is full, resume harassing said nation. Use the equipment from the fights to upgrade your castle garrison. Once your garrison and personal army are both mostly max tier, create a kingdom, immediately attack a nearby lord to gain influence, immediately convert all/most of your companions into lords, give them the garrison from your castle, form an army, besiege the nearest town. Use the influence and advantage gained from taking said town (+ advantage from all previously captured prisoners) to gain peace with the nation you've been fighting this entire time. If you've been fighting Sturgia or Vlandia, immediately declare war on Batannia. Otherwise, declare war on the nearest imperial faction. Slaughter their armies with a primarily high-tier cavalry army to fund your castle and city garrisons. Don't even bother trying to take a castle or city from them. Just use their lords and caravans to bankroll yourself. ??? Win. Provided you're constantly fighting as much as humanly possible, money should absolutely never be an issue in Bannerlord. Between the hundreds of thousands you can earn per battle against mid-size armies, the millions you can earn from crafting overpriced polearms, the absolutely insane profits you can make running between 2 towns as a trader and the literally free money you can get from running caravans, workshops and your own fiefs, you should absolutely never have to care about money. I've earned 9 Million Denars within the first 90 days of a campaign before, without even crafting anything. Once your roguery is up a decent amount and your army is good enough to easily win against military forces in the 60-120 range, you can VERY easily earn a minimum of 50k/battle. I've had singular battles where I've earned ~15k from normal prisoners, ~20k from lord prisoners and ~180k from loot, and we're not even talking about a 1200+ man deathstack here.
wtf i have much less from battles. 1-2k coins from win vs 600-800 army and some stuff like 2-10 tier 4 weapons, some 3-4 tier 4 armors.. i prefer to take it to my army for some extra exp but if i sell it i think i will have like 10k more coins and like 10k for prisoners if i get many... My cities give me like 1-2k. Castles only drain money, stuff like brewery brings like 100-200 coins which is garbage cuz it needs 20k to buy. Companions drain more money than castles. And i get new war like every 10 days, so i need to pay like 15+k coins daily just to have 1 enemy at the time. Seems i f'ed up this game

Genuinely had no idea Clans that like you would not pillage your villages, even after 1k hours played I never noticed that! Thanks for that info, will definitely be focusing a lot more on social my next campaign. I assume it's not the same situation with caravans though? Thanks for the great video!
Have been playing my first sandbox for the past 4 days, managed to get clan tier-4 on day 312 and have 4 villages now, I LITERALLY NEEDED THIS VIDEO LOL, I made SOOO many bad choices, like for example, exevuting 30 lords from the mercenary clans lol, I’ll start increasing relations as fast as possible now lol
My issue was when I recruited nobles that kept on wanting to declare war on kingdoms I didn’t want to fight. While I was still at war, I had the policy that let me over rule them. However they kept doing it so god damn frequently that I couldn’t keep overruling them. Then they was able to pass the policy that made decisions cost double for me. So I ended up at war with every single kingdom on the map. That was the point I peaced out and retired my character. Just made it infuriating to plan it. Genuinely felt like they was actively working against me.
The trick i use for every playthrough , is that instead of becoming a vassal , i start out as a mercenary , make lots of money & renown from battles to reach higher clan tiers. then eventually start my own kingdom . the reason for this is that , when u defect as a vassal , all vassals in that kingdom start to hate you like crazy , to avoid that , i go with this strat.
@@Flesson19how do I take advantage of this? Just vote for the group with the most clans voting on it to maximize relationship gain with each clan during the votes? Any other tricks? Like Is there a special way(s) to go about this? I’ve even heard some talk about ways to drain the other clans of their influence to the point where you can kick them out of the clan until it’s just you and the clan leader. So then you can either collect tons of money as the only remaining clan, or kick them all out & strip them all of their fiefs where you have most of them as 1 of the the 2 remaining clans & the only one with tons of influence, so they can’t do anything about it in the votes. (& possibly later recruit them to your kingdom.) Is it worth doing all that (to get those extra fiefs by kicking out the vassals & basically neuter the faction you are about to leave?) Or just better to get a fief or two & then leave before trying to boot out all the other vassals & possibly get their fiefs in the vote by stacking influence. Either way I would possibly try to recruit some of the vassals to my kingdom later on unless I stayed in the kingdom and tried to become its king. (I just doubt I have the patience to wait for a king to die to take over, bc the chance of death from battle is so low..) plus it seems like a easy/boring way out tbh.

I am doing a bandit troop only playthrough and after constantly taking over rebel towns/castles, one faction eventually was left to a few fiefs, so I took to war. I got tired of the lords popping up after I beat them, so I just started mass executing the lords. I think everyone hates me now, but I have a castle
I am playing my first campaign in Bannerlord. I have prior experience in Warband. I executed around 30 lords yesterday. I don't know where this will end. But I guess there are 2 options. 1. I execute everyone from that kingdom. 2. I lost so hard that I stop playing and start a new campaign.
I grab as much as I can, I get around 5k grain and 3k fish in askar and sanala. Then head out and make sure I have at least 300 of the others, but ill get as much as 1000 if possible because you never know when you'll get another chance and food becomes less abundant as the game advances

True no one will declare war on you but if you declare war on any of the other factions they will come and try and take your time just found that out the hard way
In my case, if i play conquest. 1st 10day, need at leat 1 compagnion of 60+steward, so can have at least 35+troops. Declaring war to 1kingdom by attaking their vassal. Reach tier 2 clan before the 1st season end, need no stop fighting, no1 around, attack the village, not raid, forced them to give troops/ressources. After tier 2, join any1 at war as mercenary. I dont become vassal. Should reach tier4 in less than a year. Wait/creat a opportunity, i play empire culture, so my target are any of the 3 empire kingdoms. No stop bully the same kingdom. I join any kingdom that attack my target(each time i change kingdom, before join the new1, buy all the food of my target towns on t way, make their garisson starving). As their troop drop less than 2500, i stop be mercenary, run to the other side of my target, where all their big army isnt around. Take my1st town. Immediatly make my kingdom. Hunt for influence. Ask mercenary to join me. Mercernary+compagnion troop should +-500troops army, enough to kill ennemy 1k army. If ennemy come with 1.5k, just run to the other side of his army, take another town before he take yours. Normaly i get at least 5towns before get my 3rd vassal (i must control at least 5towns to keep my passive income 10k+/day) most of time, when got my 5th town, should be at the end of my 2nd year, if i m slow, middle of 3rd year.
@@Flesson19 ah dont worry about it. I was clearly impatient cos i finally made it to t4. At that point i should have went full money farm THEN start taking a couple rebel towns like husn fulc (or however its spelled. They rebel a LOT)
This is an awesome video I had no idea I could recruit people while they’re my prisoner. Absolute game changer not having to chase people down. Also a good way to keep your original faction off your tail is if you raid a couple villages to start multiple wars before you depart. Kinda hard to focus on just you when they are at war with half the map so it gives you time to set up lol
So I started my first sandbox playthrough. Joined a kingdom, got fiefs, made money, then left the kingdom and my fiefs. I have not started my own kingdom, and have been taking over rebellious settlements by buying all their food then besieging them immediately to starve their garrison to death so i only have to deal with militia and present parties, but I usually wait until those parties are evacuated unless I see the original owners army fastly approaching. So far only minor clans have been waging war against me. I only have one castle, but I have amassed 15 towns this way. It helps that the Khuzait, Aserai, and Vlandia (with my aid) completely decimated the Empires, Battania, and Sturgia so there are plenty of rebellions I can take advantage of
There's a piece of this that I never hear anybody talk about you can own Towns or castles without being part of a king at all either yours or the AIs You can actually start building your kingdom this way and own multiple Towns or castles before ever declaring yourself as a kingdom. I've gotten up to as many as 10' without ever declaring myself a kingdom. Mainly by taking kingdoms that rebel, but you can also attack actual kingdoms, and whenever they come to attack you back, just pay for peace. Normally you can take a couple of peace and the cost of peace is not that high, The AIs will not declare war on you if you are not a declared kingdom.
I did the same but ended up losing it all pretty quickly when moving to a kingdom. Literally have everyone fighting me. I should not of beheaded all those lords 😢
The AI actually can declare war on you even if you are not kingdom. At least other independent clans can do that. I was subject of war declaration from some clans that was not part of the kingdom before I created one
Yo if you go the route of not declaring a kingdom, can you still assemble an army with your companions like you can as a vassal or kingdom leader/member?
I got so attached to my campaign, but I ended up rushing the dragon banner before I was ready. My clan had three strong cities and some good castles. We managed to wage defensive wars against the whole world for two years. I personally executed half of the vlandian nobility just to try to slow the hordes. We had a 4:1 kdr with every faction, but in the end the endless waves of bodies eventually over ran us. I remember my last city I defended with 500 men against 3,000. After days of ambushes and successful defenses, our onagers failed to destroy their battering ram. My men fought bravely and eventually it was down to 150 vs my 60. Unfortunately, many of my strongest warriors had died and my remaining were very spread out and they were inside the sacred walls. We lost. The end of an Era. The young King disposed. I like to think that my story is remembered in the lore, but I fear how it will be remembered. To some I may have been a brave warrior who brought fame, wealth, and prosperity to his land. A king that stood against Goliath. Perhaps I was even a God. To others though, I was a traitor. I was a murderer. A thief. They may see me as a blood hungry tyrant who murdered countless noblemen and wasted the lives of tens of thousands of men in his wars for glory. Glory for the sake of glory they might say. Hero, liberator, murderer, tyrant. History favors the victor. Long live the Imperium. Rest in peace Garious.
as long as you remember it, then it's always Lore. Helpful hint, get reduced escape chance for you and/or your governor. That is how I dominate later in the game
My first full playthrough i was just doing mercenary work for battania(i wanted to play as a battanian) . Then i tried to take my first castle by myself(it didn't work), so i went back and just became a vassle, sturgia declared war, so we fought for a week then caladog dies. the discussion to vote for new high king started and i didn't have any influence for picking the new king but turns out I WAS 100% voted as new high king .I've been STRUGGLING to make my own kingdom. Now, i do it's just on fire and idk what to do😂😂😂😅😅😭😭😭
Here’s some food for thought. The only important “soldier” stat is endurance. You don’t even need max stats to hit the good perks. You can still dump into social and intellect, but a little investment early on can let you have the best of both worlds. Granted, you won’t be getting high int perks till mid-late game… but that’s when int becomes the most relevant anyway.
Happy to see your channel grow so much since last time I’ve looked, but I do got a question if I own many different castles and fiefs when I leave and start my own kingdom, do I keep them all or only the one that I put a governor at I did see the part you said about not overextending myself, but I do got about five castles really close together so I’m thinking about a good start if I get a keep them all thanks for great video as always anything you to know I come here love the research behind each video :)
Thank you for the kind words. When you leave a kingdom you get 2 choices, either keep all fiefs, lose relation with each clan and they declare war, or give fiefs back and only lose relation. I prefer to only have 2 fiefs when I leave. When you leave and first make your kingdom, it is really hard to defend a lot of territory, so be careful with that
also a quick tip: if you already own town, and you're currently in a war with any nation/empire you can do this to earn quick money: When you defeat vassal lords during a campaign they often times become your prisoner. And after some time, you get a messenger wanting to ransom off a lord for a meager amount. Automatically decline this since there is a better way at earning more. Now how to maximize what you can earn from your prisoner enemy lords? What you can do is take the enemy lord prisoners to your town (would work best if you have 15 or more enemy lords as your prisoner). Once in your town, go to the tavern and ransom them off that way. (don't worry they won't disappear, but they'll actually end up in your dungeon) Once they're in your dungeon, take them out and again, ransom them off to the guy in the tavern (do this again and again until you receive a satisfactory amount of hush money or building funds) i tried this on version 1.29, i am not sure if this works in older versions happy earnings
I overextended. 11 Cities and 10 castles as a vassal of Vlandia. I did not even want them; we fought against Aserai and my lord just gave me a city and two castles and from there it escalated. Next war was against Sturgia and suddenly I had fiefs at the other end of the map. I want to forge again, spend some times recruiting an army I really want, manage my fiefs, make children, etc. How can I escape; all I doing is run from siege to siege. If I found my own kingdom I will be missing a lot of clans I can ask for support if someone declares war on me.
I find the easiest way is to just play the game as intended and wait until well past clan tier 4 befofe going solo kingdom. Make more friends, collect more fiefs and build them up. Build up more companion parties. Build future clan leader companions to promote. Etc. if the AI swarms you then you didn't midgane long enough yet.
It’s very obvious that you need to play the game in an organic way for a VERY long time before going solo. By very long i mean you need to like stop having a life lol. So that’s why i play own kingdom with cheats
In dont know why there isnt a single video about this on youtube, but i always stall creating my own kingdom as much as i can. In sandbox you can basically conquer the whole map without ever creating a kingdom. Just declare war by sacking a village or attacking some noble party near the fief you want to conquer, quickly siege it and go to whatever enemy noble (most of the time you will capture one that sits inside the fief). Talk to him and make peace for denar (its cheaper the better your relation is). Maybe gamble and try to take one or two additional fiefs but make peace as soon as any of your fiefs get sieged by the enemy. Its pretty cheesy, but it works quite nice, since there is the aditional benefit that you will own every single one of the fiefs you conquered before you create your kingdom. Which means loads of money (and later influence). The AI will still never declare war on you as long as you are just a clan and not a kingdom.
many do it, but cheese or not. Play the way you want to and have fun is what I say. I did something like that with a trader/smith. smithed weapons, sold them and used trade perk to buy fiefs without making a kingdom
I did the same. I executed whole battania and got their fiefs/castles. 😅 I’m tempted to make my own kingdom but I‘m not sure to declare it yet. I read many times, that if you make your own kingdom, the whole map declares war on you pretty often. Do you think the AI Kingdoms will declare less war, if the relation to their kings are high or is it random? I play with cheats tbh so money or enemy armies are no problem, but I don‘t want to go from A to B 24/7 just to make peace again.
@@LaVey1999 AI declaring on you has many factors, i think. One is your relation with him, one imho much stronger factor is your power (number of fiefs and troops, including garrisons). After creating your Kingdom you make peace by the kingdoms diplomacy menu so no need to travel for that.
@@LaVey1999 no there comes a point in which most do come after you. That is why preparing with a well built fief, good money and another fief as a trap or bait fief is great. Prepare as a vassal first to me is key. Many just stay independent so they dont get attacked but it takes time for policies to really help you with militia, loyalty, troops, that is why I stay a vassal longer. Build up first and youll be fine
My tactic is to buy towns other factions conquered and then stockpile garrisons. Paid for with smithed weapon sales. Can take many years, but by the time I was Clan Tier 6 I had several towns with 420 garrisoned troops not counting Militia before I declared my Kingdom.
I try to stay away from smithing as you can become dependent on it. I don't smith or have workshops and with just 100-125 roguery, I make enough with battle loot to make tons of money
in my first playthrough i literally did everything wrong, bumped some points into vigor and resistance (though it would be important to be strong and though the other skills eventually would be high), then i though a lot about restarting, but it would be too much of a grind to start over, it was already 1800ish days old the save, so i joined the my culture faction (battanians), tryed to help them protect and expand, failed, then i kinda gave up on it, put into test a strategy of letting the main quest of cultists trigger and after it triggers, i left the kingdom and gone solo again, it worked the enemy factions didnt target me, battanians got destroyed ofc (somehow the empire was destroyed too a little later) then for luck (the only luck i got in the run tbf) marunath just got rebelled, so i took my pick and gone for capture it from the rebels little did i know it had 600 defenders and i got my army of 160 lmao (didnt notice at all it had 600 defenders) but i did the starvation trick that i get a lot of food and starve them, i had a army of crossbowmen tier 5 and managed to defeat the 250 militia they had, now i'm building up the marunath to be my capital and when ready will turn a new kingdom, only issue is my map is heavily dominated by Vlandia (which i guess shouldnt be a problem, i've read their army is not strong) and marunath is in the middle of Vlandia so i'll probably do a save, try to battle vlandia and dominate some fiefs then try to go for peace, if it doesnt work probably i'll load and try to attack the smaller faction i guess what saved my run was that i learnt about how to make a really big family and have a lots of heroes fighting with me, i have about 20 family fighting along and growing it up so also learning that i can starve the city i'm attacking helped a lot, didnt realize how it works till i've saw some videos, now i'm on day 3000
@@DarkLineSnes each game you learn new things. Trust me, I've made way more mistakes then you playing. Most things you can recover from. Every time you learn, it will make it better
Ive been snatching up rebellios fiefs and nurturing them into prosperity, keeping my garrisons small and trying to maximize my tax income. One party at a time, i build up a force of Khans Guard/Fian Champions and then swap them to my clan parties. Hopefully, once i declare my kingdom, ill have my own party plus 4 with 75/75 khans guard/fian champions filled in with some heavy calvary and i wont have to worry so much about my clan parties being defeated and then captured
The AI is dumb and gets captured a lot. for my clan parties i keep them in my army 99% of the time. I can't trust them on their own. For other clans in my kingdom I just hope for the best
Yea, I would not send them off on their own with your top trained troops. Tried that with my brother. I gave him about 170 of elite cav and infantry. I ran to a town nearby and when I came back he had already lost half of the troops...
What we mean is we need a guild on how to help your companion clan you created grow and how to get your clans to get bigger party’s and be able to fight against other kingdoms and also when all war against you and you have no money it’s a lot of in depth things we need a guid on
I had conquered all of Sturgia as a Vlandian vassal. I left the kingdom with one milion denars and clan rank 3 (almost 4). I spent some time building up my tiefs and then when I reached clan rank 4 I made my kingdom. I ran out of money fast but somehow I kept it above bankruptcy. Everyting seems to be fine. For now...
@@camryneicher564 yes, when you leave a kingdom and it says keep your fiefs or give them back. When you keep them you go independent and the other kingdom declares war on you.
@@Flesson19when you leave the kingdom you are a vassal for, & take your fiefs with you, does it mean you automatically declare a kingdom at that point? or are you still just a clan until you “officially declare a kingdom”? & if you are just a clan until you declare a kingdom, can you assemble an army like u can as a vassal? Basically I want to to know if I am a vassal, have a fief, then leave and take my fiefs with me, will I be still able to assemble/create an army like I could as a vassal? Or once I leave/stop being a vassal, do I have to actually “declare a kingdom” in order to assemble an army? (like I could as a vassal) Like right after you rebel and leave the kingdom you are vassaling for, do you keep the ability to create an army like you could do as a vassal? Or do you have to declare a kingdom to get to assemble armies as a non vassal? Like I know as a mercenary I cannot assemble armies, but I wondered if I could assemble an army with my companions parties as a solo clan who just left/quit being a vassal & took my fief(s) with me when I left. My Problem is that tribute is way too high Im making 15k minus per day while I have 4 other clans … 3 of these clans only have super small troops cause they got no money to get some troops because of that I cant make armies over 800 soldiers and that leads to the problem that Im unable to fight against aserai and khuzaits… My kingdom got phycaon,syronea,lycaron,poros,onira,castle sestadim,gaos,chanopsis and melion a few for my vassals and a few for me but we aint making enough money and I live time to time on debts How can I reduce tribute and have my vassals now millions in debts?
7:41 The only option talking to clan leader prisoners is "our kingdoms should make peace" at least for me, tried it multiple times, the only way to get the persuasion check is when i find them on the map
Bro I thought I was alone. I’m now at -4.3M. Everyone in my clan is broke!! I’m guessing we don’t have the money to recruit so I have 10 different plans but the average recruitment rate is 50%!! I really don’t know what else to do at this point. I have to beat the first major main quest line. Now it’s just me and three gigantic enemies who can mobilize armies three times the size of mine without blinking an eye! I don’t like how this game is balanced
You're going to lose it, I use a lot of roguery and get into battles to offset it I'm always losing money, nut when I go to sell battle loot is makes me a ton of money

Yes influence goes to zero. I donate it to clans to increase relation since you lose 30 or 40 with all clans when you leave. Leaving the kingdom should stop all sieges unless TW changed it. Thank you for the kind words
Making big money got only three kingdoms left as rivals. How does one close the deal so to speak for a total victory? Character is getting up in age and I'm concerned when he dies the kid will be to underprepared. I used the Strat of waiting for rebelling fiefs and then taking over once I started making money I would declare wars with raids take what I could then sue for peace paying a hefty amount most of the time. I can not stress how important keeping enemy lords captive in party is was able to roll the sand kingdom. I have never completed a total take over and would like some advice for closing.
First I try to get 225 riding and 225 scouting so you can hold prisoners with 100% reduced escape chance. Then when you have enough prisoners you can steam roll a kingdom, when their fiefs are gone then the kingdom is eliminated on its own.
@@Flesson19 I see so using the capture method like I did with the sand people, to the extreme basically capture everyone then I can just hit castle to castle until the kingdom is beaten. I'm assuming I can place a bait fief with no garrison near the boarder to bait them to me? or do I need to reduce my army to be able to chase parties of 50 or so?

Interesting suggestion but sadly the information needs more detail for those of us who are absolute beginners and somewhat clueless 🤪! For example I have a city with a governor but no idea how to donate troops , which I have no issue doing with my one castle !
I normally like to do long ones and my old guide was 19 minutes long but many people now want info fast to get on with their day. With that said if you need any help just ask here or in my discord and will help if at all possible. To donate troops just go to garrison page and move them from your party to the garrison like if you were transferring them to another party
@@Flesson19 thanks for taking the time to reply and for the offer of help 👍 I do appreciate it’s hard to please everyone all of the time … My issue (s) are I’m playing via a console and I guess there are differences. I see the garrison tab in my castle and it’s easy enough to to donate troops but in the city I don’t see a garrison tab at all which is a little confusing. But I have only been playing a couple of weeks so maybe I need a few more months of making mistakes first 🤪
no, since if you lose a castle or 2 its fine. You can always build up and re take them later. Enact policies, get your town set and get militia built up. If you dont have money to get vassals you can always make companion clans. Im not sure of your entire situation but it does sound like you are over extended with fiefs. Most games can be salvaged but just focus on your town and the castle closest to it and get built up

Haha! I have been battnnia vessel for as long as I can remember on my first current play through. 130+ hours in. Took a long break from the game before that I was the golden vessel got back from my break and been playing recently. Have tactical got control over the snowy part of the map over my course of playing the damn conspiracy guys missions where me mad and reckless I started executing prisoners but then realized I will have no friends but pretty sure I single handle assist in the total disbandment of the western and worked on the southern kingdom north is hanging strong. But I was thinking about breaking off from being a vessel and starting a kingdom. But I have so many enemies and about two people in my clan would it be a bad idea? And roughly how much gold would I need if I left batt and keep my four fiefs? If that’s still an option.
I have at least 500k and prefer 1 million before making my own kingdom since you need it for clan parties, recruiting others and possible peace outs. For me building up first and getting 100% reduced escape chance for prisoners is key

Yes, it does. In Ps4 is very traumatic, to have 100 friendship with "Clan of Ghem" (for example) and they declare war on me for no reason. Minor clans always do it after some time if they dont join a Kingdom. And sometimes major kingdoms declare war because is programmed, no matter actions or relationships. For example, in one campaign I was ruler of Sturgia, and decided to destroy it from inside, deleting all clans first and then I left the kingdom and it no longer exists, but some weeks later Aserai declare war on Sturgia, and some months later Western Empire declare war on Sturgia... 😅 They still declare war to a kingdom that no longer exists
Litterly if mods or cheats where allowed on consoles the only thing that would bring me back is a way to make sure im only allowed to declare war its alright if the enemy kingdom declares but when im the ruler i should make these decisions period

And they patch and nerf the only good things in "SINGLE PLAYER OFFLINE GAMES"... cheats and exploits. There is no one single reason to nerf a single player game. Im ok with nerfs and patch multiplayer modes and pvp games because it affects the gameplay of other players but single player nerf???? Devs are dumbs in nowdays, I miss the 90's games era....btw I think I have been the ONLY player in ps4 Bannerlord in multiplayer these last months waiting hours for someone to connect for a online battle. @@shooter5439 In 1.8 it was tested that those perks were broken and lord escape chance from dungeons was a flat value regardless of any perks so people would campaign with 30 lord prisoners in the army since those perks did work (and maxed out at more than 100%)
I've used them and not had any issues. I would have 50-75 lords in my dungeon and see escape here and there. I had someone look at the code and it looks fine
@flesson19 thank you for another great video. I have a question, and allow me to apologise in advance if its kinda silly. Why do we need to create Kingdoms in Bannerlord ? I remember in the old warband we could not hold fiefs (neither Towns, Castles or Villages) if we were not part of a kingdom, either as a vessel or our own Kingdom. I had assumed it was the same in Bannerlord but discovered a few months back I could take fiefs without being part of a kingdom and so am wondering why we need to start Kingdoms. As a background, I was on the verge of joining a Kingdom when a city right in front of me revolted. I decided to besiege it to level up a clan member's engineering and voila....I could hold a city without being in a Kingdom
You actually don't need to start a kingdoms. You can be by yourself and attack rebellion cities or take someone's and peace out then they can't declare war on you since your not a kingdom. it just means you cant make an army but many people do it

@@Flesson19 heh, I have 20K + I got fucked by western empire so now I have nothing, I had 3 mercenaries (contracts ended) now I have 1 + some companion and family armies but they have been fucked by western empire since those fuckers have around 7K+ forces
I prefer either Rhotae for the 2 castles close by that offer a ton of food goods if taken or Zeonica which has grapes and grain but a castle super close by you can take and use as bait for the enemy
now do a video everyone wants when you have 2-3 fiefs and castles and how to defend against that when you make kingdom the cost of peace is 12k a day for a single clan
My go to strategy is easy. 1 fief built up and a 2nd that only has around 300 or so. The AI will normally go after the 300 with smaller armies. Take them out and keep the prisoners and soon they wont have many to field armies. I got this from Warband and brought it here. I hardly ever have problems starting my own kingdom and building up. Other things like building militia or projects before making your own kingdom, but the trap base I call it is my #1 go to each game
this video is just putting me off bannerlord. It makes it seem like the lategame is just one big ball ache where you have to massively strategise to just survive

will be tough need to get expenses down, mainly huge garrisons so your towns make money. And you need roguery so you get additional battle loot to sell. It is the #1 way i make money easily with my 5 clan parties in an army
Nah, dont start with charm, leve it zero when creating char, then release the first 100 lords you capture this will give you charm and leadership and good relations with the lords to help you later down the track
Had a city for a while now and the AI leave me be took it off rebels, idk if its because i havent put the banner together yet but the AI arent going armegeddon like traditional mount n blade, hell i got bored looking for all these lords and just went to war with one of the purple dudes raid half of their villages run from the big boys and gooble up the little ones and then they caught me pants down 400 to 100 cornered. Offered peace and they accepted 🤨 Just took a second city off some rebels on the neatherealms of the map strategically retarded but hay them dudes arent attacking 😂 I suppose they never were great at explaining whats happening mount and blade i mean took me an age to find out why the workshop isnt taking my input just to create another army just to bleed 8k a day 😅 and the dudes "disbanding" love it and im playing on easy youd think Maybe only once you declare yourself as a kingdom do they treat you like a kingdom
I am a vassel in the wastern empire and i really want to make my own kingdom so i suggest to make war on vlandia and take the strongest army(i was have 930 influence)and move untill i become between enemy land then i disband the army and go away then i leave the kingdom and go to the empreror(he was weak because i take the strongest army)i was 234 and he 143 i suggest for him peace and he accept because he was at war with vilandia and me and i was stronger than him in that situation

I was thinking of joining the west empire or vlandia as vassal bc they are closer to battania (who I want to take over since my character is battanian so I don’t get loyalty penalty) but after reading your suggestion I may have had my thinking backwards… You’re saying It’s better to vassal for a faction further away from the fief I want to take? Will they not declare war on you if you are super far away? Like say southern empire being far away from battania? Or does the added distance just make them more unlikely to declare war? & or just make it easier to defend because of the distance?!
you can hunt down steppe bandits and stockpile them as prisoners. with the leadership 150 perk "veterans respect" you are able to convert them into khan´s guard.

So I was just doing my own thing, I only started a couple weeks ago in real world 🤦♂and had been wondering why I wasn't getting nominated for fiefs or castles anymore...had 1 castle, maxed it out. I was about to propose my own damn self for something! thats tough, I am not sure how to clear 100k debt without losing all your troops. Its a serious loss that might take you months to fix. I am wondering, are any of your garrisons costing you more than 1,000 in wages?
@Flesson19 yes my city takes 1200, but I fixed it, I just left vlandia and kept my fiefs. I did it in the time where vlandia was at war and had their armys elsewhere, I had time to prepare and now I await for their attack.

In my case, and first playthrough, I wasn't going to rebell, actually. I waited years for the crown of Vlandia (spoiler: Derthert lived happily 10 years of my own kindgom existance). Slowly, all garrisons were filled with best troops from my numerous conquests, generals were leveled up and when over-powered Vlandia got into a war with 3 kingdoms, I defected. And not just defected. I had so much influence, that I countered all good laws and enacted bad ones, so half of the foreign cities rebelled (it was a trauma for me, most of them I concqured myself). I gathered all capable troops(with my party =1) and lost them in a siege on purpose. And finnaly, I attacked the Aserai caravan, so they would wage war aganist vlandia too. Then I took my troops and made a blietzkrieg on all Vlandia. Meeting Derthert was a trauma too, because he treated me as a friend still. I felt amful for him.

@Rip_Twice wanna hear how I ended my campaign? When I conquered everything, I exploited influnce drain from all kingdom once again (meaning voting myself for stopping some war and therefore getting everyone to lose influence because they always vote opposite) and kicked out all clans except mine. My clan's daily income was 400-500k. Happy end😈
After my great Khan Monchung and husband bortu fell in battle defending danustica I was voted leader, and I have gathered enough influence and every warband into one massage horde, I slaughtered and burned my way all the way to askar bringing aseria to it's knees all but a few of there nobles were killed on the spot
I took 75% of monchungs lands and all his gold he was joyfully happy with me he made peace opon request and gave me his horses and gold. My wife was super cheap one mule two sheep she married me and delivered 3 kids in 5 wars. The kids are so helpful wife has no skills 😂😂😂 literally just a blank adult slate what a deal
Bannerlord: Tips from a powergamer.
Pick a corner nation as your enemy/target - Vlandia tends to work really well (and is objectively the best choice when using the armory mods), but Sturgia and Aserai also work - Avoid Khuzaits because cavalry-based militaries suck to fight early/mid game. - While Batannia tends to be the absolute easiest nation to fight, their position kind of sucks.
Attack caravans/small lords until you have yourself fully geared and a pretty decent army - ONLY TARGET THE ONE NATION - Improve relations with any other faction, but primarily just focus on getting your money up.
Learn how to solo or otherwise easily capture castles - there are both pure solo and army strats that work, army strats will be faster but WILL result in high casualties. Which can be an issue depending on your money and how many nearby recruits there are and the power level of the nation you've been harassing.
Capture a single castle, preferably whichever one is farthest from the border and the most in the corner that you can find.
Max the [redacted] out of that castle's garrison.
Literally just walk back and forth between villages and cities grabbing full parties and throwing them into the garrison of your shiny new castle.
Once your garrison is full, resume harassing said nation.
Use the equipment from the fights to upgrade your castle garrison.
Once your garrison and personal army are both mostly max tier, create a kingdom, immediately attack a nearby lord to gain influence, immediately convert all/most of your companions into lords, give them the garrison from your castle, form an army, besiege the nearest town.
Use the influence and advantage gained from taking said town (+ advantage from all previously captured prisoners) to gain peace with the nation you've been fighting this entire time.
If you've been fighting Sturgia or Vlandia, immediately declare war on Batannia. Otherwise, declare war on the nearest imperial faction.
Slaughter their armies with a primarily high-tier cavalry army to fund your castle and city garrisons.
Don't even bother trying to take a castle or city from them. Just use their lords and caravans to bankroll yourself.

Provided you're constantly fighting as much as humanly possible, money should absolutely never be an issue in Bannerlord.
Between the hundreds of thousands you can earn per battle against mid-size armies, the millions you can earn from crafting overpriced polearms, the absolutely insane profits you can make running between 2 towns as a trader and the literally free money you can get from running caravans, workshops and your own fiefs, you should absolutely never have to care about money.
I've earned 9 Million Denars within the first 90 days of a campaign before, without even crafting anything.
Once your roguery is up a decent amount and your army is good enough to easily win against military forces in the 60-120 range, you can VERY easily earn a minimum of 50k/battle.
I've had singular battles where I've earned ~15k from normal prisoners, ~20k from lord prisoners and ~180k from loot, and we're not even talking about a 1200+ man deathstack here.

wtf i have much less from battles. 1-2k coins from win vs 600-800 army and some stuff like 2-10 tier 4 weapons, some 3-4 tier 4 armors.. i prefer to take it to my army for some extra exp but if i sell it i think i will have like 10k more coins and like 10k for prisoners if i get many...
My cities give me like 1-2k. Castles only drain money, stuff like brewery brings like 100-200 coins which is garbage cuz it needs 20k to buy. Companions drain more money than castles. And i get new war like every 10 days, so i need to pay like 15+k coins daily just to have 1 enemy at the time.

Have been playing my first sandbox for the past 4 days, managed to get clan tier-4 on day 312 and have 4 villages now, I LITERALLY NEEDED THIS VIDEO LOL, I made SOOO many bad choices, like for example, exevuting 30 lords from the mercenary clans lol, I’ll start increasing relations as fast as possible now lol
U want to execute all or none. The start of a kingdom isn't easy but how u prepare make it a little more manageable
My issue was when I recruited nobles that kept on wanting to declare war on kingdoms I didn’t want to fight. While I was still at war, I had the policy that let me over rule them. However they kept doing it so god damn frequently that I couldn’t keep overruling them. Then they was able to pass the policy that made decisions cost double for me. So I ended up at war with every single kingdom on the map. That was the point I peaced out and retired my character. Just made it infuriating to plan it. Genuinely felt like they was actively working against me.
The trick i use for every playthrough , is that instead of becoming a vassal , i start out as a mercenary , make lots of money & renown from battles to reach higher clan tiers. then eventually start my own kingdom . the reason for this is that , when u defect as a vassal , all vassals in that kingdom start to hate you like crazy , to avoid that , i go with this strat.
you only lose 30 or 40 relation with each, but I use voting for fiefs as a way to get them all near 100, so in the end when I leave they are all 60-70

I’ve even heard some talk about ways to drain the other clans of their influence to the point where you can kick them out of the clan until it’s just you and the clan leader. So then you can either collect tons of money as the only remaining clan, or kick them all out & strip them all of their fiefs where you have most of them as 1 of the the 2 remaining clans & the only one with tons of influence, so they can’t do anything about it in the votes. (& possibly later recruit them to your kingdom.)
Is it worth doing all that (to get those extra fiefs by kicking out the vassals & basically neuter the faction you are about to leave?) Or just better to get a fief or two & then leave before trying to boot out all the other vassals & possibly get their fiefs in the vote by stacking influence.
Either way I would possibly try to recruit some of the vassals to my kingdom later on unless I stayed in the kingdom and tried to become its king. (I just doubt I have the patience to wait for a king to die to take over, bc the chance of death from battle is so low..) plus it seems like a easy/boring way out tbh.

I am doing a bandit troop only playthrough and after constantly taking over rebel towns/castles, one faction eventually was left to a few fiefs, so I took to war. I got tired of the lords popping up after I beat them, so I just started mass executing the lords. I think everyone hates me now, but I have a castle
I am playing my first campaign in Bannerlord. I have prior experience in Warband.
I executed around 30 lords yesterday. I don't know where this will end. But I guess there are 2 options.
1. I execute everyone from that kingdom.
2. I lost so hard that I stop playing and start a new campaign.
For me, I enjoy sandbox with banner-kings. I start at 20 and enjoy long games, but I am probably in the top 2-5% that plays that way.
I wish I could play Bannerkings, but major overhauls never do good on my channel
this is like what i imagine lords get trained on...how much foodto keep stocked in case of sieges and stuff.. very informational
I grab as much as I can, I get around 5k grain and 3k fish in askar and sanala. Then head out and make sure I have at least 300 of the others, but ill get as much as 1000 if possible because you never know when you'll get another chance and food becomes less abundant as the game advances

I captured a rebel town as my first step. Now I have all the time in the world to prepare since nobody is able to declare war on me.
True no one will declare war on you but if you declare war on any of the other factions they will come and try and take your time just found that out the hard way
In my case, if i play conquest.
1st 10day, need at leat 1 compagnion of 60+steward, so can have at least 35+troops.
Declaring war to 1kingdom by attaking their vassal.
Reach tier 2 clan before the 1st season end, need no stop fighting, no1 around, attack the village, not raid, forced them to give troops/ressources.
After tier 2, join any1 at war as mercenary. I dont become vassal. Should reach tier4 in less than a year.
Wait/creat a opportunity, i play empire culture, so my target are any of the 3 empire kingdoms. No stop bully the same kingdom. I join any kingdom that attack my target(each time i change kingdom, before join the new1, buy all the food of my target towns on t way, make their garisson starving). As their troop drop less than 2500, i stop be mercenary, run to the other side of my target, where all their big army isnt around. Take my1st town. Immediatly make my kingdom. Hunt for influence. Ask mercenary to join me. Mercernary+compagnion troop should +-500troops army, enough to kill ennemy 1k army. If ennemy come with 1.5k, just run to the other side of his army, take another town before he take yours.
Normaly i get at least 5towns before get my 3rd vassal (i must control at least 5towns to keep my passive income 10k+/day) most of time, when got my 5th town, should be at the end of my 2nd year, if i m slow, middle of 3rd year.
I just hit Clan tier 4 and thinking about how to progress. This video couldnt have come at a better time!

This is an awesome video I had no idea I could recruit people while they’re my prisoner. Absolute game changer not having to chase people down.
Also a good way to keep your original faction off your tail is if you raid a couple villages to start multiple wars before you depart. Kinda hard to focus on just you when they are at war with half the map so it gives you time to set up lol
I also use my influence to drain theirs and start wars with others but didnt want to overload the video

So I started my first sandbox playthrough. Joined a kingdom, got fiefs, made money, then left the kingdom and my fiefs. I have not started my own kingdom, and have been taking over rebellious settlements by buying all their food then besieging them immediately to starve their garrison to death so i only have to deal with militia and present parties, but I usually wait until those parties are evacuated unless I see the original owners army fastly approaching. So far only minor clans have been waging war against me. I only have one castle, but I have amassed 15 towns this way. It helps that the Khuzait, Aserai, and Vlandia (with my aid) completely decimated the Empires, Battania, and Sturgia so there are plenty of rebellions I can take advantage of
There's a piece of this that I never hear anybody talk about you can own Towns or castles without being part of a king at all either yours or the AIs You can actually start building your kingdom this way and own multiple Towns or castles before ever declaring yourself as a kingdom. I've gotten up to as many as 10' without ever declaring myself a kingdom. Mainly by taking kingdoms that rebel, but you can also attack actual kingdoms, and whenever they come to attack you back, just pay for peace. Normally you can take a couple of peace and the cost of peace is not that high, The AIs will not declare war on you if you are not a declared kingdom.
I did that once and many people love too to get their fief and bypass as a vassal. I just prefer the vassal route to have vassals help me
I did the same but ended up losing it all pretty quickly when moving to a kingdom. Literally have everyone fighting me.

The AI actually can declare war on you even if you are not kingdom.
At least other independent clans can do that.
I was subject of war declaration from some clans that was not part of the kingdom before I created one

Yo if you go the route of not declaring a kingdom, can you still assemble an army with your companions like you can as a vassal or kingdom leader/member?
I got so attached to my campaign, but I ended up rushing the dragon banner before I was ready. My clan had three strong cities and some good castles. We managed to wage defensive wars against the whole world for two years. I personally executed half of the vlandian nobility just to try to slow the hordes. We had a 4:1 kdr with every faction, but in the end the endless waves of bodies eventually over ran us. I remember my last city I defended with 500 men against 3,000. After days of ambushes and successful defenses, our onagers failed to destroy their battering ram. My men fought bravely and eventually it was down to 150 vs my 60. Unfortunately, many of my strongest warriors had died and my remaining were very spread out and they were inside the sacred walls. We lost. The end of an Era. The young King disposed.
I like to think that my story is remembered in the lore, but I fear how it will be remembered. To some I may have been a brave warrior who brought fame, wealth, and prosperity to his land. A king that stood against Goliath. Perhaps I was even a God.
To others though, I was a traitor. I was a murderer. A thief. They may see me as a blood hungry tyrant who murdered countless noblemen and wasted the lives of tens of thousands of men in his wars for glory. Glory for the sake of glory they might say. Hero, liberator, murderer, tyrant. History favors the victor. Long live the Imperium. Rest in peace Garious.
as long as you remember it, then it's always Lore. Helpful hint, get reduced escape chance for you and/or your governor. That is how I dominate later in the game
My first full playthrough i was just doing mercenary work for battania(i wanted to play as a battanian) . Here’s some food for thought. The only important “soldier” stat is endurance. You don’t even need max stats to hit the good perks. You can still dump into social and intellect, but a little investment early on can let you have the best of both worlds. Granted, you won’t be getting high int perks till mid-late game… but that’s when int becomes the most relevant anyway.
Happy to see your channel grow so much since last time I’ve looked, but I do got a question if I own many different castles and fiefs when I leave and start my own kingdom, do I keep them all or only the one that I put a governor at I did see the part you said about not overextending myself, but I do got about five castles really close together so I’m thinking about a good start if I get a keep them all thanks for great video as always anything you to know I come here love the research behind each video :)
Thank you for the kind words. When you leave a kingdom you get 2 choices, either keep all fiefs, lose relation with each clan and they declare war, or give fiefs back and only lose relation. I prefer to only have 2 fiefs when I leave. When you leave and first make your kingdom, it is really hard to defend a lot of territory, so be careful with that

if you already own town, and you're currently in a war with any nation/empire you can do this to earn quick money:
When you defeat vassal lords during a campaign they often times become your prisoner. And after some time, you get a messenger wanting to ransom off a lord for a meager amount. Automatically decline this since there is a better way at earning more.
Now how to maximize what you can earn from your prisoner enemy lords?
What you can do is take the enemy lord prisoners to your town (would work best if you have 15 or more enemy lords as your prisoner). Once in your town, go to the tavern and ransom them off that way. (don't worry they won't disappear, but they'll actually end up in your dungeon)
Once they're in your dungeon, take them out and again, ransom them off to the guy in the tavern (do this again and again until you receive a satisfactory amount of hush money or building funds)
i tried this on version 1.29, i am not sure if this works in older versions

11 Cities and 10 castles as a vassal of Vlandia.
I did not even want them; we fought against Aserai and my lord just gave me a city and two castles and from there it escalated. Next war was against Sturgia and suddenly I had fiefs at the other end of the map.
I want to forge again, spend some times recruiting an army I really want, manage my fiefs, make children, etc.
How can I escape; all I doing is run from siege to siege.
If I found my own kingdom I will be missing a lot of clans I can ask for support if someone declares war on me.
easy thing to do is give fiefs back. You can vote to get relation and more charm. That way you can be selective on what fiefs you want
I find the easiest way is to just play the game as intended and wait until well past clan tier 4 befofe going solo kingdom. Make more friends, collect more fiefs and build them up. Build up more companion parties. Build future clan leader companions to promote. Etc. if the AI swarms you then you didn't midgane long enough yet.

It’s very obvious that you need to play the game in an organic way for a VERY long time before going solo. By very long i mean you need to like stop having a life lol. So that’s why i play own kingdom with cheats
In dont know why there isnt a single video about this on youtube, but i always stall creating my own kingdom as much as i can. In sandbox you can basically conquer the whole map without ever creating a kingdom. Just declare war by sacking a village or attacking some noble party near the fief you want to conquer, quickly siege it and go to whatever enemy noble (most of the time you will capture one that sits inside the fief). Talk to him and make peace for denar (its cheaper the better your relation is). Maybe gamble and try to take one or two additional fiefs but make peace as soon as any of your fiefs get sieged by the enemy. Its pretty cheesy, but it works quite nice, since there is the aditional benefit that you will own every single one of the fiefs you conquered before you create your kingdom. Which means loads of money (and later influence).
The AI will still never declare war on you as long as you are just a clan and not a kingdom.
many do it, but cheese or not. Play the way you want to and have fun is what I say. I did something like that with a trader/smith. smithed weapons, sold them and used trade perk to buy fiefs without making a kingdom

I play with cheats tbh so money or enemy armies are no problem, but I don‘t want to go from A to B 24/7 just to make peace again.
@@LaVey1999 AI declaring on you has many factors, i think. One is your relation with him, one imho much stronger factor is your power (number of fiefs and troops, including garrisons).
After creating your Kingdom you make peace by the kingdoms diplomacy menu so no need to travel for that.
@@LaVey1999 no there comes a point in which most do come after you. That is why preparing with a well built fief, good money and another fief as a trap or bait fief is great. Prepare as a vassal first to me is key. Many just stay independent so they dont get attacked but it takes time for policies to really help you with militia, loyalty, troops, that is why I stay a vassal longer. Build up first and youll be fine
My tactic is to buy towns other factions conquered and then stockpile garrisons. Paid for with smithed weapon sales. Can take many years, but by the time I was Clan Tier 6 I had several towns with 420 garrisoned troops not counting Militia before I declared my Kingdom.
I try to stay away from smithing as you can become dependent on it. I don't smith or have workshops and with just 100-125 roguery, I make enough with battle loot to make tons of money

in my first playthrough i literally did everything wrong, bumped some points into vigor and resistance (though it would be important to be strong and though the other skills eventually would be high), then i though a lot about restarting, but it would be too much of a grind to start over, it was already 1800ish days old the save, so i joined the my culture faction (battanians), tryed to help them protect and expand, failed, then i kinda gave up on it, put into test a strategy of letting the main quest of cultists trigger and after it triggers, i left the kingdom and gone solo again, it worked the enemy factions didnt target me, battanians got destroyed ofc (somehow the empire was destroyed too a little later) then for luck (the only luck i got in the run tbf) marunath just got rebelled, so i took my pick and gone for capture it from the rebels
little did i know it had 600 defenders and i got my army of 160 lmao (didnt notice at all it had 600 defenders) but i did the starvation trick that i get a lot of food and starve them, i had a army of crossbowmen tier 5 and managed to defeat the 250 militia they had, now i'm building up the marunath to be my capital and when ready will turn a new kingdom, only issue is my map is heavily dominated by Vlandia (which i guess shouldnt be a problem, i've read their army is not strong) and marunath is in the middle of Vlandia so i'll probably do a save, try to battle vlandia and dominate some fiefs then try to go for peace, if it doesnt work probably i'll load and try to attack the smaller faction
i guess what saved my run was that i learnt about how to make a really big family and have a lots of heroes fighting with me, i have about 20 family fighting along and growing it up so also learning that i can starve the city i'm attacking helped a lot, didnt realize how it works till i've saw some videos, now i'm on day 3000
@@DarkLineSnes each game you learn new things. Trust me, I've made way more mistakes then you playing. Most things you can recover from. Every time you learn, it will make it better

Ive been snatching up rebellios fiefs and nurturing them into prosperity, keeping my garrisons small and trying to maximize my tax income.
One party at a time, i build up a force of Khans Guard/Fian Champions and then swap them to my clan parties.
Hopefully, once i declare my kingdom, ill have my own party plus 4 with 75/75 khans guard/fian champions filled in with some heavy calvary and i wont have to worry so much about my clan parties being defeated and then captured
The AI is dumb and gets captured a lot. for my clan parties i keep them in my army 99% of the time. I can't trust them on their own. For other clans in my kingdom I just hope for the best
Yea, I would not send them off on their own with your top trained troops. Tried that with my brother. I gave him about 170 of elite cav and infantry. I ran to a town nearby and when I came back he had already lost half of the troops...

I had conquered all of Sturgia as a Vlandian vassal. I left the kingdom with one milion denars and clan rank 3 (almost 4). I spent some time building up my tiefs and then when I reached clan rank 4 I made my kingdom. I ran out of money fast but somehow I kept it above bankruptcy. Everyting seems to be fine.

I really don’t know what else to do at this point. I have to beat the first major main quest line. Now it’s just me and three gigantic enemies who can mobilize armies three times the size of mine without blinking an eye! I don’t like how this game is balanced

You're going to lose it, I use a lot of roguery and get into battles to offset it I'm always losing money, nut when I go to sell battle loot is makes me a ton of money

Yes influence goes to zero. I donate it to clans to increase relation since you lose 30 or 40 with all clans when you leave. Leaving the kingdom should stop all sieges unless TW changed it. Thank you for the kind words

Making big money got only three kingdoms left as rivals. How does one close the deal so to speak for a total victory? Character is getting up in age and I'm concerned when he dies the kid will be to underprepared. I used the Strat of waiting for rebelling fiefs and then taking over once I started making money I would declare wars with raids take what I could then sue for peace paying a hefty amount most of the time. I can not stress how important keeping enemy lords captive in party is was able to roll the sand kingdom. I have never completed a total take over and would like some advice for closing.
First I try to get 225 riding and 225 scouting so you can hold prisoners with 100% reduced escape chance. Then when you have enough prisoners you can steam roll a kingdom, when their fiefs are gone then the kingdom is eliminated on its own.
@@Flesson19 I see so using the capture method like I did with the sand people, to the extreme basically capture everyone then I can just hit castle to castle until the kingdom is beaten. I'm assuming I can place a bait fief with no garrison near the boarder to bait them to me? or do I need to reduce my army to be able to chase parties of 50 or so?

I normally like to do long ones and my old guide was 19 minutes long but many people now want info fast to get on with their day. With that said if you need any help just ask here or in my discord and will help if at all possible. To donate troops just go to garrison page and move them from your party to the garrison like if you were transferring them to another party

My issue (s) are I’m playing via a console and I guess there are differences. I see the garrison tab in my castle and it’s easy enough to to donate troops but in the city I don’t see a garrison tab at all which is a little confusing. But I have only been playing a couple of weeks so maybe I need a few more months of making mistakes first 🤪

no, since if you lose a castle or 2 its fine. You can always build up and re take them later. Enact policies, get your town set and get militia built up. If you dont have money to get vassals you can always make companion clans. Im not sure of your entire situation but it does sound like you are over extended with fiefs. Most games can be salvaged but just focus on your town and the castle closest to it and get built up

Haha! I have been battnnia vessel for as long as I can remember on my first current play through. 130+ hours in. Took a long break from the game before that I was the golden vessel got back from my break and been playing recently. Have tactical got control over the snowy part of the map over my course of playing the damn conspiracy guys missions where me mad and reckless I started executing prisoners but then realized I will have no friends but pretty sure I single handle assist in the total disbandment of the western and worked on the southern kingdom north is hanging strong. But I was thinking about breaking off from being a vessel and starting a kingdom. But I have so many enemies and about two people in my clan would it be a bad idea? And roughly how much gold would I need if I left batt and keep my four fiefs? If that’s still an option.
I have at least 500k and prefer 1 million before making my own kingdom since you need it for clan parties, recruiting others and possible peace outs. For me building up first and getting 100% reduced escape chance for prisoners is key

Does friendly ai still declare war on other factions with no reason at all ? Its one of the main reasons why i quit the game
they did change a little of the mechanic so they have a reason but it seems they still can
Yes, it does. In Ps4 is very traumatic, to have 100 friendship with "Clan of Ghem" (for example) and they declare war on me for no reason. Minor clans always do it after some time if they dont join a Kingdom. And sometimes major kingdoms declare war because is programmed, no matter actions or relationships. For example, in one campaign I was ruler of Sturgia, and decided to destroy it from inside, deleting all clans first and then I left the kingdom and it no longer exists, but some weeks later Aserai declare war on Sturgia, and some months later Western Empire declare war on Sturgia... 😅 They still declare war to a kingdom that no longer exists
Litterly if mods or cheats where allowed on consoles the only thing that would bring me back is a way to make sure im only allowed to declare war its alright if the enemy kingdom declares but when im the ruler i should make these decisions period

I remember the governor perks not working for keeping prisoners. Was that patched?
don't they? idk. he said the max you can have is 95% though for governer. if the perks work there will always be a slight chance of prisoners escaping
@@shooter5439 In 1.8 it was tested that those perks were broken and lord escape chance from dungeons was a flat value regardless of any perks so people would campaign with 30 lord prisoners in the army since those perks did work (and maxed out at more than 100%)

Why do we need to create Kingdoms in Bannerlord ? I remember in the old warband we could not hold fiefs (neither Towns, Castles or Villages) if we were not part of a kingdom, either as a vessel or our own Kingdom.
I had assumed it was the same in Bannerlord but discovered a few months back I could take fiefs without being part of a kingdom and so am wondering why we need to start Kingdoms.
As a background, I was on the verge of joining a Kingdom when a city right in front of me revolted. I decided to besiege it to level up a clan member's engineering and voila....I could hold a city without being in a Kingdom
You actually don't need to start a kingdoms. You can be by yourself and attack rebellion cities or take someone's and peace out then they can't declare war on you since your not a kingdom. it just means you cant make an army but many people do it

You get that $5000 when you visit towns as they buy supplies and hire troops. The cost for them is much less than that

I prefer either Rhotae for the 2 castles close by that offer a ton of food goods if taken or Zeonica which has grapes and grain but a castle super close by you can take and use as bait for the enemy
now do a video everyone wants when you have 2-3 fiefs and castles and how to defend against that when you make kingdom the cost of peace is 12k a day for a single clan
My go to strategy is easy. 1 fief built up and a 2nd that only has around 300 or so. The AI will normally go after the 300 with smaller armies. Take them out and keep the prisoners and soon they wont have many to field armies. I got this from Warband and brought it here. I hardly ever have problems starting my own kingdom and building up. Other things like building militia or projects before making your own kingdom, but the trap base I call it is my #1 go to each game
this video is just putting me off bannerlord. It makes it seem like the lategame is just one big ball ache where you have to massively strategise to just survive

will be tough need to get expenses down, mainly huge garrisons so your towns make money. And you need roguery so you get additional battle loot to sell. It is the #1 way i make money easily with my 5 clan parties in an army
Nah, dont start with charm, leve it zero when creating char, then release the first 100 lords you capture this will give you charm and leadership and good relations with the lords to help you later down the track

Had a city for a while now and the AI leave me be took it off rebels, idk if its because i havent put the banner together yet but the AI arent going armegeddon like traditional mount n blade, hell i got bored looking for all these lords and just went to war with one of the purple dudes raid half of their villages run from the big boys and gooble up the little ones and then they caught me pants down 400 to 100 cornered.

I was thinking of joining the west empire or vlandia as vassal bc they are closer to battania (who I want to take over since my character is battanian so I don’t get loyalty penalty) but after reading your suggestion I may have had my thinking backwards…
You’re saying It’s better to vassal for a faction further away from the fief I want to take? Will they not declare war on you if you are super far away? Like say southern empire being far away from battania?
Or does the added distance just make them more unlikely to declare war? & or just make it easier to defend because of the distance?!

How to get khuzait khans guard? ,nice vid btw..
you can hunt down steppe bandits and stockpile them as prisoners. with the leadership 150 perk "veterans respect" you are able to convert them into khan´s guard.
any khuzait village connected to a castle, they start as tier 2 noble sons
And how to grow our Companion clan tier

How do you get a dialog with prisoners in your party? I figured it should be possible, but I can’t find it.
be outside town, and its in your prisoner list. Click on their name to open a drop down. The talk button is there
@@Flesson19 Thanks. I have definitely looked there before thinking I might find an option to start a dialog and didn't see one. I guess I was just in a city. Another example of non-intuitive, unexplained interactions between features that you just have to discover for yourself.
So I was just doing my own thing, I only started a couple weeks ago in real world 🤦♂and had been wondering why I wasn't getting nominated for fiefs or castles anymore...had 1 castle, maxed it out. I was about to propose my own damn self for something! (thought I pissed em all off again)

thats tough, I am not sure how to clear 100k debt without losing all your troops. Its a serious loss that might take you months to fix. I am wondering, are any of your garrisons costing you more than 1,000 in wages?
@Flesson19 yes my city takes 1200, but I fixed it, I just left vlandia and kept my fiefs. I did it in the time where vlandia was at war and had their armys elsewhere, I had time to prepare and now I await for their attack.
