I love your response, Linor, and with all the goings on, and it’s variety, it is hard to get any lengthy parts to study, but it is always good enough to enjoy. There is Dimash probably in an associated concert where he starts on dombra ethnically,and then adds singing, then changes to a keyboard and sings and plays some jazzy classic pop….hard for me to describe, but very interesting to see what he does with the same song. He is developing extra tools in his toolbox all the time, and all so very interesting and beautiful. Then probably on the same stage an excellent classical pianist goes to town with a live orchestra, and in the last part, Dimash vocalises to it all. It is gorgeous but might be too short for a reaction, but don’t miss it.
I’ve watched this several times since it came out (so catchy and when they harmonize!!!❤❤❤❤). I was anticipating the moment when Dimash’s and Wei Wei’s voices came together (it truly was a conscious decision to begin at almost polar opposite styles and ranges before “coming together “ or “Joining Hands”… very deliberate choice.). As always, lovely reaction (although I don’t know how you’ve missed Dimash’s staccato soprano notes! Opera 2, Diva Dance and a few others have included this trick!). It’s difficult to describe El Amor En Ti, but you should at least watch it from the concert in Almaty from September 2022. An incredible piece of music!). Cheers from Canada!🇨🇦

None of these TV performances are live. The broadcasts are live with millions of viewers...which is precisely why the tracks are prerecorded. It is totally understandable.
It was a nice touch, educating us on Mandarin vowels. Before that, all I knew that they don't have those we have. Like "e" is totally meaningless. They have 4 forms, and all involves change in the pitch. 1) Up 2) Down 3) up & down 4) I don't even know, probably down and up. The meanings can be as different as you were "pretty" or "troublemaker". Now, we got all straight out. She will take some lessons, I hope.
