yeah, when you get zenloss in lava you might still be able to think "just my luck", but when you lost everything because you let it gone on its own, even by accident like getting distracted or sidetracked, it will definitely hit harder because you can only blame yourself at that point...

That's why I never carry my valuable on me. I always make a bunch of Ender Chests, or at least have one Ender Chest on me, with all the valuables in that a shulker in that chest.

@rainregn996 even if I am in the middle of my base, and everything lit up for miles around me, and I am protected by walls all around me, in a tower with a trapdoor entrance and a roof, with Phantoms disabled, I don't go AFK without putting everything I own in a chest.

Even if Kaela literally lost everything, all the buildings and entire server, she has earned the status of Minecraft legend. All hololive fans of any Oshi know of her accomplishments. Even if the server were brand new, she takes her status with her wherever she goes and it lives on in the stories told, vod archives, and absolute respect she now gets. Even if others create massive projects, many will openly admit they were inspired to take on those projects because they saw they were even possible because of something Kaela created first. Im sure the world Tree that Fauna is making would not have even been attempted had Kaela not shown what was truly possible in minecraft and Kaela did her projects without someone doing them first.

The most painful when we got zenloss are when we lost very memorable items. Grinded items are fine, as long as we did not have any deadline or time limitiation about mining or collecting them. Memorable items, especially if it from other players that we cheered so much, that was different stories.
Honestly, I respected her positive attitude after experiecing those zenloss. The worst zenloss I ever had made me stop play the game for nearly 6 months.

Well, IDK what kind of situation she had.
But in my case, I did stored them in my base that I built and presumed as safe and strong enough. But it was raided, pillaged and destroyed by the enemies stronger than I predicted.

Zenloss and Minecraft go hand in hand. I find the best way to avoid big Zenlosses is to reduce what you lose. If you're going to an area that's highly dangerous like near lava in the Nether for example drop off all you're carrying before traversing a dangerous area. The less you carry into a dangerous area the less the Zenloss will hurt. Considering how much Kaela totes around she should have a couple of shulkers to store her items prior to going into any dangerous area. Zenloss can't take away things you store behind and don't carry on your person. Nice meditation room though. Sacrificing her diamond beacon...that's painful. Considering how much Kaela has helped the other members I'm sure they'd be more than happy to gather together and give her a helping hand to return the favors she has done for them.

that's the worst part about this zenloss, it wasn't in a dangerous area at all. she had all the time in the world to recover her items but because she was half distracted by the mario maker tournament she totally forgot she died and went back to where she died and afked to watch the pekora stream only noticing that she hasn't recovered her items 30minutes later.

Now I better understand why she told IRyS she was happy IRyS asked for help & wasn't sure what she was going to stream, before being asked.
Kaela did seem less prepared, in that stream, than usual.
All of EN seems to interact with Kaela differently from JP & ID, & I'm pretty sure Kaela treasures that. They'd rather have adventuring help, than just have Kaela get it for them, for the most part.
And I can definitely see EEE getting run for a while, in the near future. Wonder if any of that will be streamed?

Her recent zenlosses are almost because she put items which she didn't necessarily use in her inventory.
Well yes, playing in the nether means higher chances of death. But if you want to be safe, you can put all the items you don't use at the moment inside the ender chest. Only take out when you need to use them and always put them back inside right afterwards.
