Jesus just remove the battery and plug in the usb directly on the port to the power bank, those are supposed to be car cameras and they work that way on cars with usb directly
When you charge the battery inside the camera it will be chaged at 5V. I dont really know if there are any difference to use the camera with this solution or not. I love to ski (downhill) and electricity and water is not a good combination. He made a hole that i never should do. Water can now get in to the camera it self and an destroy it. Skiing, anything with water will cause damage to the camera. I wold never recommend this to anyone. I should buy more batteries and change it when it is empty. My camera i pretty new so i dont know how long the battery will stand in diffrent temperatures yet.
@@Hasse-swe I think this DIY process that he do is not suitable for underwater or rainy days but you can only use this for sunny days. He is only thinking on how to use the camera even the battery is damage.
Good idea BYT... Its not waterproof anymore. Water and electricity ar not a good match. The camera or the powerbank could start a fire if there are some moisture or a moisture area. I love to ski (downhill). I should never do that. A rather change the battery when i need and can.
What kinda cable you use? Because I’m beginning you show a white usb cable, but later in the video you use a black one with only a red and black cable coming out. I cute 3 different usb cables and they all have 4 cables, red, white, black and green.
I'm confused. If you simply plug your USB cable in the side of the camera for charging, you not only keep the battery charged, but you can use the camera at the same time. .......... If you feel that you might be overcharging your battery, then remove the battery and just run off of the USB.
Why not just plug the USB directly from the Action Cam to the Powerbank?
Common sense you can direct plug in the usb to the powerbank

You r really funny guy😂😂😂
Not recommendable
but wouldn't the 5V usb screw up the camera thats made to run on a 3.7V battery?

How many volts and amps is your power bank giving out? I was thinking about a 9V battery and a few resistors to step down the voltage
