"That's not gonna happen now, because we've disabled the comments." 🤣 100% accurate!
Google should definitely turn that into a paid feature
@@leonidas14775exactly tho
It ain't AI, it is slightly complex algorithms that summarize an email or create an emoji. Anyone who spends money for these types of upgrades probably should learn that all these features are free and online which you can access... (checks notes)… from any smartphone. Not that you will need these features
@@lawjefthat’s literally what AI is.
IPhones are becoming slower because...
"Pure coincidence"
Mine is 3 years old and is till working great, so.. is it at 4 or 5 years? I am really asking, not being s
@@galinageorgieva4735I think they mean in comparison to newer phones in similar price ranges. Your phone has the same amount of ram. I upgraded from my 5 year old phone to a 2 year old galaxy phone, and it doubled my ram. The base starts at 8gb of ram which is iPhone's pro ram and I have 12gb of ram just by buying extra storage instead of base storage.
@@galinageorgieva4735 the "older iPhones" mentioned is most likely talking about iPhones from 10 backward, which is basically out of demand/out of stock for all Apple stores unless you got them as 2nd hand from 3rd party vendor

Old processors
Well done Sam. Please continue to expose the lies and greed. We're all sick of being ripped off.
You could always buy from a different company. Oh wait, Apple customers don't consider other companies.
To quote Mr. Krabs, "I like money!"
That phrase makes me think of Frito Pendejo (Lawyer) from Idiocracy.
Never thought I'd live to see this

0:28 Apple sayin' we wanna be carbon neutral by 2030, then tells people 'you need to throw out the old accessories, buy our shiny new pencil and keyboard'.
12,024 years of Recorded Human History and we are still Dumb asses
@@mad-cyantist3159 Apple are, not us.
They will purchase some fake certificates in 2030. It will become just a little more hypocritical
Really annoying. You could never make an IPhone user switch. (even with all these arguments)
And then add extremely energy-inefficient AI.
The real kick in the nuts with the iPad stylus is that they didn't just make it so you couldn't charge the device... Which you can argue is justifiable because of the new form factor and the camera location and everything. But they literally make it so the digitizer won't work. Which is crazy because you can use an S pen from the original note on a Galaxy S9 ultra or whatever and vice versa. You can use these stylus from a brand new slim pen 2. On an ancient surface pro and vice versa
I feel that they can make a magnetic adapter to connect to the new iPad Pro for a small fee, but instead they want people to buy pencil pro. So much for going green. Maybe their definition of green is cash
@@DarkPa1adin go green initiatives are great , but only for social points. they then would ship their eWaste to developing countries and pretend that they really are "carbon neutral". See, india, formerly china, SEA. Canada in 2020 ship their plastic garbage illegally to Malaysia, the Philippines and swept it under the rug like it didn't matter. Apple has factories in China that work their workers like slaves.
"The all new reason.. " 😂😂 Apple must be the only company innovating on reasons to buy, instead of their products.
finally someone spoke about this.
@kymypy yup for the latest iPhone 15 holders... it is.. these phones don't come cheap
FIFY: "Apple Forces You To give them $999 To have NSA Spyware on your phone"
Yup!
Apple literally took one important NSA employee and said "we care about privacy" for 10 minutes during the presentation, while they've meant "we care about OUR privacy". We don't want Android users to look at us.
Sadly, only US citizens wants to do that now 😂
Jokes on them, I'm not upgrading from my iPhone 13 Pro Max.
They still make a profit selling your data. With an iphone, your data belongs to both Google and Apple depending on which services you use on your iphone.
Jokes on you. You bought an iPhone and you can't leave it
And you already shelled out money for the iPhone while using the Apple ecosystem. You might not upgrade this year, but you will soon enough.
I’ll upgrade when they give us another mini, 13 mini gang ganggg
I was still using iPhone 6s until 2 months ago. Now I'm using my wife's old cracked iPhone 8 plus (she bought a used iPhone 8 plus from eBay for $100 ish).
LMAO! Pure coincidence, aka, forced obsolescence.

Well said!

"Apple Forces You To Upgrade for AI"... I agree... Apple users aren't the brightest lights... AI can help them... or not...
And the only reason why they didn’t allow it because the other chips cannot fully run the ai smoothly without glitches so they need an actual powerful chip that they’ve introduced for it to work. Also people are questioning security and privacy while nobody is questioning other tech companies like Samsung or Google about their use of AI.

How do you make your customers upset and angry?…Apple does this all the time, and yet people buy their products…. And the worst part, it was just a software update, there is nothing in the hardware that justifies this naughty decision.
" You want technology that is reliable and that you can fix at a 3rd party shop?, well TOO BAD " - Apple executive #2
Yeah , but lets not be too hard on apple , it recently came to light that if google devices go to get repaired and it is discovered there are none original parts in the device , it is to be dismantled and not returned to the owner , you can look it up , it is legit , samsung too i think was also mentioned in these practices .
When it comes to poor customer practices , for these big companies , you play by their rules , and the almighty dollar to them is god .
This is how they roll .
@@mikldude9376 Why would there be none original parts in an android device that is sent back to google/samsung for repair ?
I lived my entire life without IA so I can easily continue living without it.
I just bought 15 for both me and my wife.. thinking for the first time in my life I'm using latest tech... come on apple!!

So Apple is saying I can save money AND avoid their spyware?
Best upgrade ever!

“Due to... ummm... pure coincidence!”
With apple intelligence they have mastered the art of squeezing the right fruit with right amount of force
"Fire that man." Never gets old, I use it so much at work, everyone calls me the mean manager.
Indeed.
"We disabled the comments." LOL
wow this guy is so spot on telling the truth about apple scamming there customers great
Another great video Sam...The iPhone 13's processor the A15 Bionic chip has the equivalent processing power of the M1 which is getting the "Apple Intelligence" feature...It even has the same Neural Engine as the M1 all iPhones sold since including the iPad mini 6 Apple needs to get this out of beta and in people's hands that's paid for this processing power.
Much love from all the UK 😊
Reminds me of when they released Siri only for iPhone 4s and not older models like iPhone 4 despite it literally just being an online software feature.
It would be really funny if not even base iPhone 16 with the same chip as iPhone 15 Pro gets the new AI stuff.
The AI isn’t online though, it’s almost all local.
It's funny how at each event, Apple praises how powerful their CPUs are.
But when they say you need the latest CPU for AI, everybody thinks it's normal.
"Pay us more... And we will spy on you for free!" - Deal of the century.
I won't be upgrading my phone. *Continues using my 1970's PMG landline phone that still works perfectly*. 😂
''Fire that man. We can afford it'' LMAO XD
just the right ball we needed to squeeze, yours!
That cracked me up haha
Thank God Somebody spoke about it!!!!!!
My iPhone 6s camera focus died and had to be replaced and recently my iPhone 13 pro camera developed a vertical dashed line when zoomed out so for me its time to walk away from these quality Apple products.
Apple's new updates:
IOS Android update
MacOS Windows update
You know, Samsung AI (Artificial Intelligence) can give Samsung phones their AI features for free over an update to the phones released in 2023 (S23 series and later).
There is absolutely no excuse for Apple.
There is a disclaimer that comes with that though, it’s free until next year when they may start charging you to use it. I never use it so I’m good.
@keef78 why would they ever? All the AI features is ran using hardware.
Apple is getting desperate for money 😂
Thanks!
I started my "Apple fanboy ship" in 1982
I liberated myself in 2014.
I never go back
The generic pencils are like 20 bucks and work great
slower with each new iOS update. Thats why I'm still on iOS 14 on my iPhone 11
Phones must be one of the biggest environmentally wasteful products besides Apple customers.
Can we all just admit the internet is the worst invention ever? It was supposed to make everyone smarter.
It didn't.
Thank the corporations and their never ending, always upward balloon, short term profit mentality for that. I'm old enough to have been around when the Internet started and yes it was all about info sharing. Even when the Dot Com started it was great. So many options and even small businesses online. Then Amazon and Google got their hooks in and the slide downwards began.
i always get the top model and keep my devices 7 years. They work fine
I went from a 7 plus to a 13 pro max I might try to go that long again since I have monthly apple care they can keep fixing the old phone for a while.
Hey we're so sorry you have to spend more money, but who knew we were gonna release an AI? *Psych!!* We did😂😂😂😂😂
"Who new we were going to release an AI....we did" So painfully true.
apple being the biggest company in the world aged well
That's not gonna happen now, because we've disabled the comments." 🤣 100% accurate!
Don't forget, they block old iPhones running old iOS from activating.
Apple's new slogan should be stealing your money that's Apple
Hardly ever been less proud of being an Apple fan. But other ecosystems simply don't seem to compare. Competition is weak as ####!
I bought a 14 Pro Max last year. Based on how Apple treats their customers, I can confidently say that I will never buy another Apple product again. If I want to try out new AI gimmicks, I will definitely buy a Samsung or Pixel device. So, this will be my last apple device ever😅😅
1:46 - that's not true, Siri does not require connection. Its speech recognition works locally. For example, you can turn airplane mode off by voice command.
It's actually a miracle they can run the intelligence on an iphone, I was fully expecting an M-series processor requirement.
Missed opportunity to say you need an M chip for the new calculator app
Was Steve Jobs this money grabbing?
Apple wasn't cheap back them as well but at least their products were way more competitive and compelling.
No! It felt worth every penny because Steve Jobs product truly had the most innovative balance of hardware and software, which was often first of its kind that quite literally 'changes everything'. Unlike now when there is a serious gap between hardware amd software level, and rip-off layered pricing on top
They were. The iPhone 3G was unable to even sync to iTunes only a few years after release. They dropped support and I still remember how syncing the device with my PC actually deleted all of my apps that were installed. Newer now incompatible versions of those appswere available.
It depends. He always wanted to price based on (his guess of) value for the customer - not the hardware, development and software cost. Some things competed better than others (the mac g3 and g4 computers were damn fast at the time and priced well, and easy to open and upgrade). But he did squeeze all of the profit he could from the iphones and macbooks.
Yes. Steve Jobs was the CEO that bought Quattro Wireless, a mobile ad company. Can't let Google get all the ad money.
They're basically selling Siri with ChatGPT
Imagine commenting on something you have no idea about.
@@nouun i can only imagine
@@nouun That's pretty much what it is, though.
@@MattExzyit really isn’t though. The best AI features that Apple will offer won’t ever need to open ChatGPT, it will run on device using their own LLM.
@@nathanbouquin9640 The LLM is useless without the weighting. Are we to assume Apple will supply the huge data supply for installation on the phone? Hardly. ChatGPT and others run on terabytes of data, the Apple chip (as well as the other 'AI' notebook chips) is still just a front end. Or a toy for small local processing. Training is the hard part.
“Apple Intelligence” is lacking in every aspect. It worth 10 cents more.
It would be awesome if we got a new cheap iPhone SE that also supports all of the new AI features.
The last Apple Pencil has worked for 3 generations of iPad. The only reason it doesn’t work with the new m4 iPad Pro is because they moved the camera and charging coils and you can no longer charge it
Lot of fun, thanks!!!
Apple wants to offset the cost of licensing other AIs by making customers buy new iPhones. Who would have thought… 🤔
at this point. to buy an apple product is just saying out loud yes please take advantage of my ignorance
To play devil's advocate: Apple products make it linear for people to decide what next phone to buy when the current one stops working properly for whatever reason. It's no secret that Apple purposely slows down older models with newer updates. If anything, updates typically have increase efficiency due to compressed/better optimized code, etc etc tech-mumbo-jumbo. However, that's seemingly never the case with Apple. But the point is: every upgrade gives that fresh feeling of a new, snappy device. Simply put, buying a new phone is an easy choice and an enjoyable experience because you get to open a new box and ogle at the shiny brick every single time.
Or, if I were to assume Apple's marketing mindset: A new experience. Every. Single. Time. Like never before.
In all honesty though, I think the relationship between Apple and their consumers is a toxic one.
A.S.S. (Apple Stockholm Syndrome)
I've used both android and ios and honestly I'd rather use ios
This is what makes galaxies ai so awesome. Even the s21s i believe have ai features
it is a good way that older iphones or non-pro models do not have spyware included
i think it is because the chips in the iphones are powerful enough to use the AI features without much stutter
Apple customers FOR REAL think that "new" features of ipone 15 are not copied from android.
And android people are still willing to pay 2000 euros for a mobile phone worth maybe 300 euros...
I'm pretty sure Apple means money in some dead language
A17 in the ipad mini will be wild.
Keeping the new AI feature on the 15 and up is ridiculous. You can't tell me the 14 Pros and the base 15 models are unable to handle the AI upgrade. I don't plan on upgrading my phone for another few years anyways unless the battery life takes a massive hit.
Even then you could just get the batttery replaced
@@keef78 True but by then it could be worth upgrading to the 17 or 18.
The 15 pro has 8gb ram, the rest have 6gb
Honestly their AI is totally useless if they think it’s enough to get people to buy new pro iPhones they must think again. Recently upgraded to iPhone 15 and there was none of those features that I don’t have already in other apps like gmail.
Apple’s compatibility list for ios18 tells a different story.
I don't think you get it.
As an Apple shareholder I approve of this message ✅
They say 6gb is not enough to run AI and you need minimum 8gb ram.
But they said also 8gb ram on MacBook is the same as 16gb ram on PC:p
Apple Math = Nonsensical statements in hopes you will still buy more of their products.
They lie to our faces and their braindead fans don't have a problem with it.
I can almost guarantee they will upgrade and hardly ever use the features. 😂
Why does apple want everyone to get an iPad Pro or an iPad Air or an iPhone 15 Pro? I guess this means every previous device is obsolete
I could live without AI before, I can keep living without it.
And don’t forget, iPhones have had a “neural engine” since iPhone 8 doing exactly nothing and apparently now they have found a use case for it, it is not good enough and we need the new “fastest chip in a smartphone”
This time it was personal from apple
Proud of not having an iPhone... and being an Apple victim who thinks he's superior while dumbed for owning exaggeratedly over-priced items.
As an iPhone user that still use a 6s silver and a XS I have to say this AI feature I don’t mind if isn’t compatible with my XS. I just use my phones for pictures, videos, calls, messages, music and games and some social media.
This is likely because of how almost all of the AI processing happens locally, and requires the power of the A17 pro chip.
My iPhone 8 is running 16.0.3. It will never be updated because it’s working just fine. The OS/IOS updates have shagged many of my devices over the years. No more!
I still have an iPhone 7, lol. I’m kinda done with the phones. I’ll just get bent over on the laptops instead.
You can never pay me to use apple
What if they bring it to every phone? Then you complain about it being slow…
If they bring it to every phone, you will still need to upgrade, ask Apple why
Found the Apple employee
They state that the device needs at least 8Gb for AI to work.
They deliberately make their phones 4-6 Gb RAM for years!
Even when features are called with similar names, they are not made equally. If you guys have a chance to experience the new AI features, you will think differently: AI models run on the device, make everything smooth and instant, a real personalized virtual assistant knows about your data and how to use all the apps. Poor those android users, they don’t have an option to “upgrade”, for features half as good they may need to wait a few years for a buggy OS update that may or may not run on their phone. Or just buy a new iphone.
1:00 his eyes JAJAJA
Heheh. Stick it where the sun dont shine !
If Apple doesn’t feel able to update its ‘old’ hardware it must be legally required to hand over the knowledge to others that will allow such hardware to be continued to be used. Legally binding ‘either you maintain your hardware, or you let others do it for you’ - surely a single ‘AI’ appliance on a home network could be used to process ‘AI’ requests. And a camera in the usb port of the Apple TV for FaceTime is long overdue.
Haha you are spot on as they are keen for you to part from your cash & I will not be using AI for you do not need to get the latest iPhone.
Jokes on them I have the 15 pro already
hahahahaha *
15 Pro Max here. I upgraded from the IPhone 7+ lol.
He's right, I would not update the software on my old phone since it would bog everything down from all I read. Funny how slow the old screen feels compared to this one.
Maybe this'll hold me for another 7 years before they stop supporting it with software too.
Don't buy garbage.
I hate that they can’t put the A.I. software on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Apple Idiot!
The usbc was really just a way to force upgrades as well. Most iPhone users have always been so they have lightning cables which no longer work with new phones so now they need to buy cables too if they upgrade because I’m sure Apple doesn’t include them. The people like android users that already have these cables that this was supposed to help will most likely just keep using android because they’re not going to change their entire os just because they can charge it with their current cables.
I’m not even gonna correct you.
@@TomJoe-ep8jv no please do. You took the time to tell me I’m wrong then proceeded not to explain why. So give me logical explanation of why I’m wrong and how this was so beneficial because as an iPhone user for over a decade, it didn’t benefit me at all. It just made all of my current accessories incompatible with new phones and all new accessories incompatible with my current phone.
@@pastiesandagstring I’m tempted to troll you by just saying I’m not gonna correct you over and over again, but I won’t. Out of curiosity, what would you have done if I did? Anyway, the reason I think you’re wrong is because the EU forced Apple to switch to usb c. Simple as that. It wasn’t their choice.
@@TomJoe-ep8jv I’m aware of that. That doesn’t mean I’m wrong. Just that the decision was forced by the eu. Who, like most of their other decisions, like the allowing sideloading of apps. is just putting on a big show to pretend like they’re looking out for the people when actually as I have stated didn’t really help anyone. It’s ultimately just going to help Apple by forcing people to upgrade both their devices and accessories and making all the old accessories garbage.
Samsung released a 16GB model of the S21 Ultra

you're very intelligent and smart to see what apple is doing
neither do I ;)
Two unrelated but excellent traits.
Android users massively exaggerate how bad Apple devices are, yes, for most people Android is better, but it’s not like it’s a massive scam.
@@TomJoe-ep8jvactually it is. i bought an M1 macbook air for P57K brand new (my local currency) and the battery was great at 96% health then it stopped charging after 1 year and 6 months. Apple repair told me the logic board needs to be replaced and the repair is for P31K which is absurd. I saw the breakdown and was told that the touch ID also needs to be replaced since it is part of the logic board (even if it is working). I picked up the laptop and decided to not have it repaired. They could not even answer why the logic board gave up just like that.
Fun fact, before the M1 I was using an Intel 2017 Air as well then two vertical dead pink pixels showed up on the 13th month (yes after warranty). Bought it for P50K and repair told me P35K including labor. I almost LOL’ed at the store and just left.
Which means everyone that doesn't have an iPhone 15 Pro now has to upgrade for their AI features. And they said 6GB was enough lol.
Brilliant
And my iPad 9 isn’t compatible with the Apple Pencil 2. Again, apple is a charger of money even for their pencils
