Those flowers are definitely Peonies! I love them! My grandparents had a whole garden full of them in different colors!
Thank you!
She scored on the flower picture!
Love the painting of roses and the gold makes it pop🌹🥀🌺🌸🪻🌷🌼🌻
Short Stories of De Maupassant!!! The Necklace is a great story!! I wrote a paper on him for World Lit in college! I would have snatched that book up, quick and in a hurry!
The shelf goes with the bar down.It is a towl bar.But it's yours now use it any way you want.God bless from Pa.
I am collecting items to make a wreath from a silver tray. I love the idea of turning the shelf over like that and layering trays in the back and other stuff in the front. It would be awesome.
Thank you!
Your painting is beautiful. The flowers look to be delphina. So happy for you that you found your container. You and your girls should go to Nebraska for their junk jaunt in September. It's 500 miles of yard sales and thrift shops and vintage stores
Oh gosh I might be in Thrifter heaven there. Now I’m going to Google that lol.
Mmmmmm, 500 miles......drool.
Tier tray. I looked for one at the thrift store and goodwill today. I will look until I find one or make one ??? 🥰 The flowers in the picture looks like peonies. I actually have some in my yard in the spring. 🌸🌷🌼🌻🌹🌺💐 love flowers ❤️
Yes! Keep Thrifting you will find one. Or you will find stuff to make one. Good luck.
🥰❤️
The flowers in the picture look like Peonies. :) I think you should try cleaning the silver with Tarnex or some such silver cleaner then just give it time and it will re tarnish. I think real silver tarnishes quite quickly if left to sit out and not polished regularly. Great video!
If u sand it down and then clean it off let it dry...then clean with kosher salt and lemon juice ..let that dry ..remove excess and then wood butter it a mixture of olive oil and bees wax ...gorgeous!!!I love thrifting with u...I dont resell either I'm a collector who can never rid themselves of all the treasures I collect hehehe BLESSINGS TOO U
Great tip. Thank you Yahyahs!
That painting was BEAUTIFUL! There was a set of bird paintings in round gold frames I would've snatched up in a minute. I LOVE that vintage look.Btw I've never been on a quicky thrifting trip. I'm not sure one has ever existed. I usually send my husband to sit on the benches in front of the store to wait. Happy New Year Lindsey. Let's hope it's a better one than last year.
Hello again! For the shelf, I also would turn it upside down, affix to the wall and lean the tray (on the top) against the wall. Then I would get a silver tea set, put the put, sugar and creamer on the shelf, add ‘S’ hooks to the bar and hang pretty teacups on the hooks. Maybe put the matching saucers up with the tray to tie in the porcelain cups. Add a lovely tea towel or doily to the back towel bar! Great find!
This sounds lovely !
of baking soda and a damp rag to buff off tarnish and rust. Dampen the rag, then sprinkle the baking soda on the rag. Rub the stained spots with firm pressure and a circular motion, as if you were waxing a car. As you clean, the stains should come off and the silver plate will shine
I thought the flowers were peonies AND dahlias. The daisy oil painting would look super on a tiered tray. Great haul. Loved it!!
The flowers are peonies. They just happen to be my favorite flower.
I agree, but, unfortunately they require a prolonged winter chill, which my zone on Central Coast California doesn't reach. They grow REALLY well in North Dakota, and there are several around the foundation of the Farmstead when we go back each July. The aroma, once experienced, is never forgotten. I feel bad for Julie that she'll have to travel North to experience it herself.
Your enthusiasm is so charming!
Those flowers on that huge painting!! Their peonies!! I grow them in one of my gardens!! ☝️👍🤗😘
Candles on the silver plates. Clean with baking soda, maybe?
I thought the same thing; a bunch of different sized white candles on that silver plated tray would look spectacular!
Wow I need that red and black buffalo check soap decanter at 4:50. I so want that small daisy picture. But I can't believe you didn't get that 2 tiered tray that match the canisters unless it was plastic.
I really considered it but it was sectioned off like for fruit or veggies. So I passed in it. It was beautiful though.
Your videos are so relaxing to watch! I would have put that two tiered glass tray in my cart along with that Christmas book. I would have been tempted to purchase that sweet little frame with the painted daisies. I'm midway through your video and anxious to see what you came home with! Happy New Year!
Thank you! I know. I regret not getting the loot daisy picture.
Maybe try cleaning with baking soda or silver cleaner that you can buy at Walmart. Are you thinking of silver plated? I think it’s a towel rack with shelf but regardless you can use it anyway you want. That is a gorgeous painting of flowers.
wash with warm water and dawn i always use tarn x
My Aunt had that same picture in her living room above her couch . It was there from the 60's up until she passed away in the late 90"s Love it
You have me collecting the Wexford . I found the pitcher and butter dish this week. But it to want the canisters
Yay! Keep me posted. I love it.
The silver tray with the handles is really pretty!! And I also loved that tiny painting of daisies!
Thank you! Yes I regret not getting that now.
Are those spots green?
Silver and bronze tend to turn green with age even in spots.
I would very gently try with fine steelwool. Very gently!
I think that shelf is to put pegnails on to hang like cups or pans or your apron on.
Thats a stunning artwork!
I think those are double dahlia s.
Amasing!
That s a steel!😮😮😮
Thank you so much!
I clean my silver with lemon juice and a soft cloth but you may need toothpaste or an abrasive silver cleaner if the lemon doesn’t move the white patches which look like calcium deposits. The peony painting is gorgeous and professionally framed too, what a great haul you got
Still loving the cup with the snowman on it in the Christmas stuff
Use silver cleaner. I think it will come off.don’t worry, before you know it, it will be tarnished again
We love you too, Julie!!!
Great haul. That small Wexford piece would have been good for toothpicks. I was practically drooling in the Christmas section...my huge downfall...loved the gingerbread stocking holders.
Hello, enjoyed the video and all your repurpose ideas; the spindles are a great idea. The price on the "silver" was amazing, my stores are always marked $7.99 and up.🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ The painting is beautiful, I loved the little daisy for .99. Thanks for sharing.(PS - I am now a new subscriber)
Thank you so much! Welcome to my thrifty journey.
Very nice stuff loved it all
They are Dahlias...for sure!
I hope you got the oval frames with the birds.
The painting is beautiful!
I just loved the tiny daisies picture, and your big painting is gorgeous!
Thank you!
Use real silver polish and elbow grease. It will take a while. No chemicals in liquid form
Please consider getting a battery operated picture light for the painting. It will look awesome! I did it and it looks expensive and expert like. Lol great finds.
Oh yes that’s a good idea. Let me go look online. Thank you so much for that recommendation
I love the peonies! You are a great decorator.
realy quick. oh yes I can relate lol.
Those sunglaces look grate on you btw
Look at that vanarty😮
Thank you for sharing some furniture to
I love to decorate with book to.
That old Robinson crusoe you should read to
Love the grain of that cuttingboard.

I m into glasswork lately
Look up and deep down!
Oh yes I m a climber to lol
Have fun thrifting in 2021 xxx
Thank you so much Heidi!
I would have purchased tge gold heart shaped boxes. I use boxes for jewelry like bracelets, etc.
Oh my goodness...I love the picture. I'm thinking the flowers are a type of peony.
Peonies. Love them.
Awesome score on that picture!! That’s really pretty! Don’t forget to show us when you get the frame repainted and put it up. I’d love to see how it looks above your buffet!
Absolutely!
I think that the shelf is a towel rack. Hang it with the bar down.
Flowers in the painting are Peonies love it 🌸🌺🌸
Your beautiful tray is pure silver use silver tarnish cream F B Roger's is the trays you want.
Always look forward to your thrifting videos. I love the picture. It’s going to be even prettier when you paint the frame.
Thank you so much Cindy
Good prices, nice items and nicely organized.
I have a cat like yours. No matter what i'm doing, he has to be right in the middle of everything. I also have to put him in a different room
But i love him. I love your videos. You pick up items that i would pick up. I feel like we are best friends.
I love the peonies! What a great find!
You manifested your jar, you put it out into the Universe and she responded. Your prices are so cheap where you are. NIce haul. Your painting looks like peonys. Gorgeous.
Thank you!
Try Tarn x or Brasso. That should clean it
Tarn X pits metal. Brasso is a great product. Guardian makes a lot of good restoration products. And they’re doing it in the USA.
They are Peonies in the picture, they don't look like that until they've bloomed fully.
Try vinegar and baking soda together
the majority of the flowers are Peonies which are a perenial
Beautiful flower Picture
Gorgeous picture
Thank you!
i love your videos, i watched all of them,
Try. Clr on your sliver tray
The two flowers on the right side looked like irises
It looks like moisture spots on the silver tray. I'm no expert, but I'd try silver polish even though you may like the tarnished look. It will eventually tarnish again. The flowers in your painting look like peonies.
Thank you so much!
The flowers the pink and the white flowers that are in that oil painting like picture you got their panties
the flowers in the picture look like peony to me. As far as the wooden shelf goes, I think that is supposed to be a towel rod with shelf up above, although it could be used the opposite way too. DC/Lex
You can rub with toothpaste and clean it off.
Thank you 😊
Hi I like the video I wish I could have seen you cat 🐈😺 let him be on your videos, I know that lots of people enjoy watching cats when the owners making there videos 👌 I just think it will be nice
Hi Daisy, she shows up in my videos from time to time. She’s usually off doing her own thing lol
It’s a towel shelf
It’s oxidation.
Do you have a video for a semi country green ideas? 🙏💚
For decor or painting ?
@@ThrilledThrifter decor... Kitchen I'm starting over i decided I will do the apartment solely thrifty merch... Green glassy vintage kitchen...
On the rack, the base should be the back
On the wall
WALMART sells silver cleaner. Those spots may be from an acid . the one with the handles are expensive.
look up " FB ROGERS SILVER CO 2361 Ornate Tray with Handles 12" Diameter"
50 on ebay, not cleaned, 90 on etsy, cleaned out
The flowers are peonies. Love your videos!
Weird pricing. Things I thought should be 99 cent marked $3.99
Stuff I thought should be at least $5 or $10 marked $1.99.
You just never know!
peony flower
THE PICTURE WITH THE FLOWERS ARE PINNEASE
Peonies
I agree with other posts. They look like peonies to me. Such big, beautiful flowers!
Hello
Hello! Where have you been?
Are there little bumble bees in that flower picture? I have one that looks very similar. I found mine about 15 years ago at a Goodwill for 3.50. It is in our bedroom. One of my favorite finds ever.
The flowers look like peonies. My mother was a landscape architect 🌸
I agree. The big blooms on the centre look like peonies. The others are all roses, some wild ones. Beautiful!
Thank you so much! What a beautiful career to have.
Thrilled Thrifter @@helenlouise_ I paint ,so they look like Peonies ,but whoever painted them exagerated them so they would standout and be noticed.- "Fantasy Flowers" as Artist call them
I just sold those bird pictures to Ty Pennington (was on Home Makeover show).
Wow!
I think the flowers in the painting is Peonies. I love that painting
I seen a hack with paintings they use a product can't remember what it was and go over the painting with brush strokes. Really cool.
That was fun! I would have bought the bird pictures too! TFS Hugs!
You are my thrifting spirit twin 🤣 "climbing under shelves to check prices" Yup done it! So happy to discover your channel!
Haha Thrifter will climb all over right? Welcome to my Thrifting journey.
❤
A silver cleaner should do the trick. Not sure about the shelf.
The canisters are cheaper than they were in the 70’s, and that’s not the largest.
The picture frames were great.
I use the cutting boards. Disinfect with bleach, yes bleach. Sand, polish with food grade
mineral oil.
I do too, Minda! I usually wash them a couple of times, let them dry really good, then sand and condition them..... I'm a firm believer in bleach killing all germs!
Try KETCHUP to clean silver and brass and leave on for a few mins and wipe off ...love ,love ,love the picture peonies are my favorite flower ..go to dollar tree to get your peonies .I bought some from there and they are really pretty...awesome haul hun 👍👍👍
I line my sink with tinfoil pour in boiling water half cup salt and half cup baking soda and soak...works wonders for my silver...also love love love the picture of the flowers and yes I would have bought the pictures of the birds..happy new year!
What a great little Goodwill! It's ok to pass on stuff...cuz we all know 'if ya don't feel the thrill, it just ain't your deal'! Loves from Texas!
💖🥰
Haha ! I love that saying. You may hear me use that now.
I think in Texas that thrill and deal probably rhyme as well 😄.
If your silver tray has a base metal of brass or other metal, those spots may be corrosion. Try Brasso or for the corroded area try bicarbonate soda and a bit of water and rub gently as soda can scratch the surface. You could even lightly rub some barkeepers friend on the spots.
I love that little daisy oil painting
I used to have a little shelf like the one you bought. I had tea cups on mine in front and the matching saucers behind the rail behind them.
Try white toothpaste to clean silver trays. The flowers look like peonies.
Love your glass canister collection, happy you found it!....on your "quick trip;)"
I LOVE THE BIG FLOWERED PICTURE......CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU DO WITH IT........
They are peonies. You might find those at Michaels.
That holds blankets or quilts
The green blue spots is tarnish which has ate away the silver coating but there might me brass under neath. To clean use wrights creme silver polish and it that doesn't work nothing will.
I think you are correct with the blue spots and eating away the silver coating. I had a piece like that. ☹️ I don’t remember having success cleaning it “ off” .
Awesome silver finds! I love the old tarnished look myself but agree with you on the spots. You can buy a silver cleaner most anywhere. I got mine at Wal-Mart.
My first thought was that the shelf was a plate rack. Looks prettier that way; if you turn it upside down for a towel rack, you can’t see the details of the hanging part as well.
I agree!
Glass candel holders from dollar tree would look good on the cutting board
