Ferras was the teacher of my teacher Keiko wataya. I owe a lot to him and her because I learned a lot thanks especially to her left hand. Without a doubt a great violinist and it makes me extremely sad to think about everything suffered with his depression. Big Ferras

His tone was so mellow & rich. He was among the most unique violinists. So sad, tragic, that he took his own life. I loved this man.
