@@veegomi7669 you'll want to use a cone curling want so the curl size differentiates from 1 size and switching it wider to shorter and then precise small to wider back n forth. May need some fake pieces you can add by teasing the various pieces of sewn on fake tracks to clip on barrettes to pump up the thickness n cover w real so it blends n hides the track. I like to use some "root pump" by 'big sexy hair' brand which is sold in kowt retail outlets but not mom n pop wig stores. Some hair products will tote hair volume or "beach waves" when you can just at sea salt to water and lightly spritz to suck out oil that is keeping the hair flat n greasy looking and repels the hair from its neighbor follicles this appearing huge. A mermaid /beach waves hairdo is best on day old unwashed hair. Remember to rinse it out eventually as the salt will be absorbed into your blood/brain stream and create migraines from dehydration or worse fall out due to weakening the follicle n shaft. Cant wait to see how you nailed it!
