- In raft building foundations, we have to provide two meshes the top and bottom. In the top, the location of the bars was different as compared to bottom bars. These all the information was discussed in this lecture.

You didn't cleared up on which direction the main and distribution bar are placed,means how do you lay the bars depending upon the size of the area.i.e length * breadth??
Main bars are placed on shorter span

In slab the mesh will be same..like you told in raft foundation that the main bar will be in the bottom and top mesh the main bar will be on the top..its same for slabs also?
In case of a pad foundation a column sunken at a maximum depth of 4000 what's the possible ground floor design

Sir ya dono lap ap nai at the column break kr deya that is wrong. Only top bar break at the column and bottom b/w the column

Tension aur compression wala concept clear nahi howa, main bar top aur bottom per hony ki wajha kia hai ?
Raft foundation behave exactly opposite of slabs. .we will provide extra steel in mid span for raft top and extras will be provided at bottom of raft for columns, shear wall and core wall
