We need to hear more from Kenz right? Don't you agree? She was a bit hesitant in helping with this video but I think she did a great job! We hope these tips will help you in your future build. For next week we have a special build planned. Something I guessed we would never do. You'll have to wait and see.
Color uniformity is nice, but contrasting can work wonders to turn a room into something special all on its own merits. Say you want a blue theme to a room's decor. Use orange lighting instead to make the light and the room color itself pop in a simple way. Split complimentary color theory works well with some of the colored walls in this regard. It's not advised for all rooms, but if used sparingly, it can make some sections impressive to behold. Color temperature also affects room mood. Using the Plague Chemist Pack chem lights in your alchemy lab makes sense from a theme perspective, but dark blue can also make the lab brooding and cold. Color theory in general can make decorations more impressive than they would be otherwise.
I agree. Like we said in the video we normally choose a color theme. Meaning certain colors for lights, curtains, wallpaper etc. They dont have to be the same color. Normally we pick 2-3 main colors. For sure having some variety of colors makes your castle become more alive.
These are amazing tips! I just completed my first playthrough since full release and now want to just go crazy building. I like the idea of building vampire castles based on different stories and characters from different movies and games and such.
I started playing some weeks ago and I love the game so much. I remember so many years ago that I wish a videogame like this. My starting castle is not in a very big place but it has 2 layers so I might work with that for now.
@@Ultimicia that might happen. I really wish a beautiful mysterious garden so I might need room in the future but I might just stay for a while to grasp the building concepts better.
For my first plot, I picked the two-tier one in the north west, of the first zone. This is a highly desirable spot for PvP, because you can use the second tier to store your stuff, and use the first for pure defence. I picked it for PvE, however, as want to use the first tier for the majority of production (and probably jails) where as my Vamps house is on the second tier (with Library, etc) I then want to add more levels on bottom of the first tier, but only have it accessible from the top tier. This way I can build it so the first tier is under the main house. My vamp accesses it from the top (using the teleport option, or maybe flying in as bat, not sure how bat works just yet) I just thought it was cool to have the main entrance taking you to what's under the actual house, then you have to make your way out of the back door, up a staircase and then the real mansion starts. As I built the first structure, purely to get up walls and add rooms as fast as I could, though, I have a lot of rooms adjacent to rooms (which I don't really like) I usually build corridors and have rooms coming off these. It will require some remodelling. I also might actually build a proper entrance down here, too. At the moment you enter into the forge. I think some kind of true entrance would make more sense. I guess I don't have to build right up to the front of the plot though, too. EDIT: I might have the main entrance as another grand staircase leading to the upper parts of the house, actually. then I can also have doors coming off the ground level, and leading into the production. Yeah, this feels right. I have my world set to 6 floors I think, so can really build up.
@@Ultimicia Thanks. I have this issue currently,, where it has the next floor built on top of the roof of the previous floor. Do you have any idea how to fix this, please? So it should have changed into a flush wall, but it looks like a house built on the roof of another house (best way I can describe it, lol)
Awesome video! Ive had a rough time trying to figure out how to make my castle as functional as possible, but still look good. Work on making the script sound a bit more natural, otherwise, again, it's a wonderful video 😊
I turned the room i built on the top floor of mine into an art room. I put various stautes in it and built an art display stand then i put some paintings on it as well as all around the room.
It's Kenz here. I highly suggest it. My most favorite is pve building aspect. Alltough its a small game its fun to play. There are lots of pve pvp and rpg roleplay servers. Hope you have fun.

The biggest castle you can build on official servers are 550 tiles big with a max of 3 floors. But they can be increased on custom/private games to 800 tiles and 6 floors. If you dont count the extra floor you can have from a double layered territory like we explained in the video.

Its very fun indeed! You can always move your castle easy nowadays with the castle relocation if you dont like your spot anymore.

@@D00M3R-SK8 I don't understand what you mean or want fixed. Are you playing on an open or private server?
@@Ultimicia it's sorted now.
private server. I had forgot to place some floors down in an area on the second or 3rd floor, that's all it was.

That sounds actually really cool. Great idea!
I just got plot N23 I would absolutely love to see a build on that. Or if there is one already made please direct me to it. Thanks. Love the content
We have not build a castle on that plot however it is an interesting plot for sure. Maybe in the future who knows?
Where can you see plot numbers please?

i am looking for a group to play with ? also what is the biggest castle you cam build at you make them all over the place and telaport to each other ?

mm why is it that the people tha run the servers use the admin island ?
An area comes to mind east of snowy zone that only admins could reach. Do you mean the same zone? Not sure if they can build there tho.
