I love this. I like it so much more than the really large collections people have. This room totally looks like a place to hang out in on a daily bases. Great vibe.
@logan-el6hl That is a muticade with a Timepilot marque. It originally had Timepilot 2 in it, but I really didn't like that game. Originally, it looked like an old vector monitor cabinet.
@@patrickalmquist4762 The building goes up next Wednesday. The solar system is 1/2 grid tie and 1/2 off grid. Ill upload a couple of basic videos showing the progress.
WHOA! Thats awesome! The TV over the bar is a super nice touch! It definitely reminds me of the old OLD days when they used to put little arcades in the corners of Casino's for people to drop their kids off while they gamble lol.
Thanks man! We built it on a shoestring budget. It turned out better than we could have imagined. Just gotten lucky finding arcades for a reasonable price. The room used to be an attached garage we never used.
Very nice! I also have an Arcade that's very similar in setup, except we have a pool table in the center of the room. Our payphone is mounted on a pillar at an archway, but like yours, is fully operational. Keep having fun and continue to live the dream!
Very nice set up... im guessing that you are the popular guy of your group of friends. 😎😎😎 You need a pool table to make it truly authentic.. only teens over the age of 16 were aloud to hang out by the pool table. 🙁😢😢😭 Woodhaven Mall in Philadelphia pa... (well it would be there if you were living in 1985. 🤓🤓🤓
How did you wire the switch in the Stargate cabinet? I would think that each time you switch it, whichever board you are switching to would have to boot up. It's way cool that with a flip of the switch, either board is "up" and ready to play. Please tell how you wired that? Thanks!
I'm not being insulting when I say the carpet is my favorite part of this whole thing. I've been wanting to make a home arcade myself and that's EXACTLY what I picture when I think of the 90s arcades, and nobody else seems to use that! What's it called?
Wow. You scored high with the ambience here! 💕 Love the sexy paint & lighting, and the added payphone, popcorn, and soda/bar area just make it that much cooler. I want to put in a similar arcade room. What's your electricity bill like per month? How about maintanence costs for the cabinets, etc.?
We actually are building a bigger one out in the desert all solar powered. But the bar lights are floresent, the black lights are led so not much electricity. The arcades are maybe 100 watts each but only run a few hours a week. Our bill maybe was 20-30 bucks more a month.
Dude... I gotta move out of California. Gotta get me a REAL house, that normal hard working Americans can actually, realistically afford, and STILL be able to have cool stuff!
I hope that atari didn't work or was in rough shape atleast when you made that coaster sad to think one was destroyed granted thousands were made there's really not many left imo sure you can find them but the people that have them dont usually take good care of them and they are left to rot in a closet or something and when rediscovered they tend to be in rough condition
That Rygar machine has a fun story behind it. I used to live in Minnesota and answered a Craigslist ad. I met a guy out in the woods who drove me out to hidden trailers in the woods. He used to be a carnie and collected roller coasters, bumper cars ect. It was one of the easiest arcades to pull from his multible trailers. Like 3 years later the American pickers featured this guy.
I just bought an original upright Stargate and a Tempest. I wanted a horizontal and a vertical screen to install Game Elf jamma. I bought both machines as the CRT monitors are mint. I did not know you could wire it so you can flip from a jamma to the original PCB board. How did you manage that?
Skeeball, soda machine, kegerator, and a bunch of cool arcade machines. This is every mans dream. Even none gamers would love this setup. 👍🤙
Black light rug brings it together as a true arcade feel.

One of the coolest gaming setups I've seen. Arcades may be dead but you keep the love alive in your own way love it!
Thank you.
Great stuff. You actually have everything to open a legit retro Arcade, this is a time capsule.
Im actually building a solar powered arcade out in the desert, its currently under construction.
@@patmlem do you have any updates on the solar arcade? That sounds like the greatest thing ever?

Coke machine was the cherry on top! TYVM! Loved it!
Great work.👍 It's almost like stepping back into the past.Reminds me of the arcades I used to go to.The pay phone's a nice touch👏

Awesome, nice job with the retro feel. Can't believe you got pay phone & soda machine lol
Oh my God how can you just be so casual about having something so fucking awesome in your house????
The payphone is my favorite piece. As soon as you said it works, I said out loud, “That’s amazing!”
I really dig the arcade! Great job!
Lot of great stuff! I love Laserdisc, arcade games, vintage tech. Keep up the great work with your arcade.
Very nice. One of my favorites compared to other videos. Got all the essentials
This is really neat!
I especially like the use of a Stargate cabinet for a multicade. Feels kinda appropriate that it can take you to any arcade game.
Awesome arcade!
Oooh, I love your Super Mario Bros wallpaper.
If I had the money and the space, I'd make my own home arcade and fill it with retro arcade machines.
Awesome!! Simply awesome.
I LOVE THE WOOD CONSOLES
LOL, anybody that thought this was extreme last year is having second thoughts. Man cave bunker!

Firepower pinball...nice! So many guys have the later machines, not
the classics from back in the day.
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.

I wouldn't use a working Atari. A while back I bought 25 2600s off evay not working. I was able to fix 20 of them with 5 2600s worth of bad chips.
Great arcade room, I had the full size Rygar game 15 years ago, do they sell that through Arcade One?
