Yep, that would be not far from awesome :) although RAMI was made to compete rather with G26 , long time ago.... I agree however if it was a bit thinner it could be the pinnacle of carry guns :)
Kuba, it’s been a year. You still carry the rami? Also, how many rounds before a recoil spring is needed. Thanks. Would love to see more videos on the rami and the history of the Best modern compact carry gun from your people! Thanks again kuba
Hey, yep, still carry that sucker... works great, no issues :) I don't think CZ has any limit for changing parts in general.... once it starts malfunctioning you change it...my only regret is that it misses more aftermarket options here :) which is strange as it was made here :D
Wow that's just like the Smith & Wesson Shield Plus I just bought a couple weeks ago as my CCW. Before that I carried my S&W snub nose .38 special with a shaved antisnag hammer so I wouldn't have to worry about jams. I made my micropistol upgrade because I was walking my dog through a bad neighborhood and realized I'd have a hard time fighting off a group of gang members with only 5 rounds. The Shield Plus also comes with a 10 and 13 round magazine 😊 EDIT: I didn't realize it was hammer fired until later in the video. My Shield Plus is not hammer fired and it's a bit thinner than the Rami but this is a cool gun especially from CZ. I just looked up this model saw it was made in 2004 so it must of been state of the art at the time. Great purchase.
yup, very interesting history behind it... I even had the opportunity to talk to its designer... awesome guy! :) it is actually a result of cooperation between Colt and CZ... and now CZ and Colt belong together so hopefully there is going to be more "Results" like this :)
@@CzechoslovakGunStories I saw that Colt was acquired by CZ. I did some research into how Colt went bankrupt and had to get purchased, it's because leftists here frivolously sued them so much that their lawyer fees were greater than their profit margin. Same thing happened to Remington. It's crazy because Remington to this day is the most popular bolt rifle brand and ammunition. Same story, they got frivolously sued out of existence. Being based in Czechia I think they'll be safe from that but that'll go back to them just having to ban imports. Also, have to keep in mind the Czech Republic is landlocked so if the EU steps in and doesn't let you guys do exports we're going to be fucked.
Come back with part two please. Show side by side with your old friend the CZ 50. 60-70 year old pistol design is incredible. I just purchased a 1951 CZ 50 with plum red treatment. Unusual deep rich color, very clean . Fills in my collection of (2) CZ 24, CZ 52, CZ 83, CZ 75 pre-B with a Kadet 2 .22lr kit, and CZ 457 Lux .22WMR. please include your range impressions of your new 2075 RAMI and tell us about it's design story. Thanks. 👍🇺🇲
RAMI will be back indeed, just need to drift the sights a bit. Btw. the deep red color CZ 50 is the best to get. Congratz :) The price is rising here as well and the early one with red-ish tone are very popular
yep, unfortunately, they are gone forever now..... let's hope CZ will bring some replacement up in the future, some hammer decocker gun, ideally micro size :) .
I was 100% sure befor the video you will choose the P10M, so i was suprised when you open the box... ps. Congratulation for your new pistol and i am intrested about the history of this gun.
Been carrying a rami for a couple of years now. Just recently switch to a p-01. Still not 100% which I like to carry more. The rami is quite chunchy and you do have to loosen that belt a bit for it.
@@Kyle-wc3nf I have P-01 with Crimson Trace laser grips, it is my current CCW (also sometimes carry P-07 DUTY). I thought RAMI would be significantly smaller. Is it close to P-01in size?
@@Kyle-wc3nf yup, comparing it to P01 there is not such a big difference. Probably the biggest one is the grip length. This is, however, also the part of the gun which at least for me is most difficult to hide so I am using the flush mag and it does not stick. I agree though you need a good belt and ideally kydex holster :)
CZ Rami is such a fabulous looking gun, would love to carry one myself but unfortunately I think it wouldn't be a good option for me specifically lol Moreover, I have a question I feel only someone like you could answer: It's my understanding that Czech gun owners are not allowed to carry guns loaded with hollowpoints, or indeed any round designed to inflict more flesh damage than a simple FMJ would be capable of. Whenever I've attempted to search for information I've only ever seen "it's a bad idea, don't do it, only use defense ammo." Which I feel is dismissive to people who don't have access to or cannot legal use defense ammo, if the pandemic has taught us, especially American gun owners, anything it's that there's no guarantee you'll always have access to optimal equipment. So my main questions are these: What is defensive gun training in Czechia like? Does it take the FMJ ammo into consideration? And what ammo do Czech gun owners typically carry? Apologies for the lengthy explanation, it's just something I've been curious about for awhile that I feel may actually be helpful for gun owners everywhere. Thanks!
hello and thanks for your post :) there has been a change in February and we can now legally carry whatever ammo we want - FMJ, HP up to you :) as for the gun trainings - there are plenty of instructors and organizations that offer paid classes, some of them really top-notch professionals with combat experience... in the past when HP was illegal majority of us carried FMJ ammo, some tried alternatives like Black Mamba from Fiocchi but there were very few alternatives to FMJ. Nowadays - really up to you :) the only ammo still banned is the truly mil-spec ammo - armor-piercing, incendiary, tracers etc... :)
Looks very good! I have a walther ppk in 7.65 and a walther pp in 9mm short for every day carry.. and some other nice guns...from CSA czech small arms. Sorry for my english..😅 I am from switzerland. Best regards Reto
Regarding 7.65 - noone would want to be hit by it and it indeed started WW1, but at the same time its rather poor manstopper - not far from where I live several years back during Bank robbery security guy empried full mag of 7.65 from his CZ83 into robber - it didnt help as the robber still managed to kill the security guy (Praha - Novodvorská)... So, congrats on the Rami.
ah, I heard the story years ago. The guy must have been high on something... I heard the robber died as well couple of minutes ago.. would be interesting to see some details - where did the security guy hit him... must have been legs, hands, perhaps no vital organ or head shot...
@@CzechoslovakGunStories You remember the story called "why this cop carries 145 rounds"? He shot one nigga 17x and it went down only after third hit into head. No drugs involved.... Adrenaline, fanatism, etc.. can play role too.
I knew it would be the rami ! Haha. I got one last year here in the states. Then they discontinued it! Good channel. Love cz!
Thanks :)
I really love the RAMI. If only they could slim it down a bit. Imagine how thin it could be if it used P365 mags.

Good choice! As a KAHR Collector I have to say I guess in Europe it makes more sense to have an aditional safety
You're lucky you got one. All I see available is the model with safety instead of decocker.
