Kenta had the best song - I just love his don't give a fuck attitude and gravelly voice. Proper late 70s folk rock song. The thing is there are no bad songs at all in this edition and it's perhaps the best edition of Mello in the 1980s. Thomas deserved his win and 'Just Nu' is a great song that deserved more at ESC. I get a Kenny Rogers / Tammy Wynette vibe with Chips song. Lisa Ohman would have been Sweden's best shot for the result. Very powerful voice and up-tempo song. Very in the vein of pop music in that era and she sells the hell out of the song. The runner-up is cute if repetitive but the right choice was made.

78,79,80 and 81, I much preferred the songs placed 2nd these years
Tania looks like Beth (Eurovision Spain 2003).
Ted and Annica look like they really want to get up but were forced to remain sitted on those benches.
Tomas lendin finaly won and i love just nu
Finally Tomas Ledin won 😄😂
Yes but where did he come in the Finals?
@@grahamnancledra7036 1978
1977 he was already in 1977 melodifestivalen.
@@remcovandenberg6196 oh true
@@grahamnancledra7036 He came 10th in the final.
Tomas is still hot at 72. And his father is still alive at 98.
Tania and her song look like if she was taking part at Kdam Eurovision in Israel instead of in Melodifestivalen.
I prefer Du ger mig inte to Just nu.
