I hated Villem at first, but putting myself in Meve’s shoes, I don’t think any mother would give up on her son just like that without even considering his conditions for a moment. So I did what any mother would do and forgave him. And I was satisfied with my choice, Villem turned out to be a good kid who made a bad choice, I’m sure that he became a good king for Lyria and Rivia following the example of his mother

@@JaceValm wow what? they will die? i was reading some guide for this part, it says if you agree to Villem you will losing either Reynard or Gascon card later on, i thought they will just got arrested or disappear like they will comeback later on into your deck, but permanent losing it? that's not worth it.
@@araven2293 One of Villem, Reynard and Gascon is going to die to open the gates. And yes, this is actual character death where they are explicitly killed for it. If Villem is inside the castle, meaning you didn’t recruit or capture him during the meeting, then he will open the gates and be killed for it. If you recruit or capture Villem then he’s not inside the castle to open it up for you, and the one of Reynard or Gascon you send in for the mission will die to achieve it. No matter what happens somebody isn’t making it out alive.

I let him go. Him demanding crown and heir was too much for me. It felt like he spat on my face with such a demand. I was like bruh 🙄

Not immediately, but whichever one of Reynard or Gascon you send to open the gates will die in the attempt.
