Bloody hell! Been waiting for someone to test out the star link. Couldn’t hear you guys over the wind please, please, please redo that info again without the wind.
starlink is such a game changer
It definitely is and has helped us so much already

Thanks mate 🙌🏻
Put the bung in from inside the boat,if it’s possible on your boat it works on mine and never lose a bung again. That was a nice Barra .
That's a great idea! Thanks mate, have a great week.
Thanks for that idea 🙌🏻 I’ll have a look the next time the boat is off👊🏻
Deryck you should have kept the Barra mate! Just as tasty. Only last night , hubby and had watched you at Lake Proserpine from about a year ago.
I know 🙈 everyone said we should have kept it 🙌🏻
My dog wanted Bob's squeaky toy!
😂😂😂
for the windy days can you add subtitles?.Great episode reminding me of your earlier videos.
"DONT BE A DEREK! "
If you buy $5 welding gloves you can handle your camp oven without implements. The roast looks amazing. We have to get one of those meaters.
Thank you 🙌🏻
We are holding off on the Star Link until there is a 12v version. The speculation is killing me.
Great Barra catch. Great episode.
I always had a spare bung cable tied in the back of our the boat. I alway forgot to put it in.
It will be interesting to see if they do bring out a 12v system.
Great idea on the bung plug …

wat campground u staying at just glorious ❤️
Guy's! Blast from the past...check out Sue's UA-cam from back in the day! When we made our first video! Fishing Gonubie river!!
Will do mate 🙌🏻
Look for the warmest water u can find and around the weed edges.
Thanks for the advise Jason. Will definitely use the advise when targeting Barra🙌🏻
I just saw your car at strathpine centre lol
I searched you up and boom here is your channel!
Thank you
Live bait from the dam itself works best, mouth almighty is the bait fish of choice, for those freshwater impoundments.
Thank you Dave. We will take the advise 🙌🏻 appreciate the advise 🙌🏻
Thanks Dave, that helps alot. Hopefully will be more clued up next time we head out!
Star link a good thing it's the future I'm amazed telstra havnt come up with a similar unit but that would defeat the purpose off the MBM run out that's already out dated 😉
So far so good with starlink. We didn’t get it for the speed but just the fact we can get internet for sues work and what we do. The fast speeds are a bonus 😂
Watch from 19:33 look at the ripple in the water behind you. Could be a CROC!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ll go back and have a look 👍🏻
Another great vid, thought you would get Starlink with Sue’s work as everything else is hit and miss, that was a great Barra you caught, you should have kept and cooked and made up your own mind re taste, Mr Bob looks like he has a real personality Looking forward to a run down of your battery and off grid set up as looks like it’s working well for you. Have a great week and safe travels 👍
Thank you🙌🏻
Yea starlink was our only option and we are very happy with it as it has given us the opportunity to get off grid . It really has helped already where we have been.
We will definitely be doing a power system review shortly 🙌🏻

I was surprised you got crackling on that pork with all that moisture in there. Did you have the lid cracked with a piece of wire? Careful giving Bob pork, Pancreatitis from high fat content is deadly
Thanks Pat. Nope the lid wasn't cracked at all! Good tip for future though. Thanks for the advice with Bob he is on a french bulldog diet (Hills prescription). Will keep high fat content in mind.
Bob is so big now. He was eyeing that pork off for sure. Derek was so excited withthe Barra then you threw him back. I would have kept him and cooked him up. Oh well next time.
He definitely is growing 😁 he eyes off all food 😂
He definitely is growing 😁 he eyes off all food 😂
Hey guys, another awesome video, thankyou for sharing. I always look forward to new content from you and following your adventures. A quick question? Those Navigator awning straps you having that slide into the slot on the awning barrel, how do they hold up with a bit of a breeze happening? I'm a big Navigator fan and thinking I may buy some but the straps that wrap right around the awning barrel seem much secure...whats your thoughts?
Thank you 😁
The navigator straps we have used since we started on our journey and seem to have held up well.
@@justvanningit Thanks for getting back to me, Will order some now 😀
Nothing wrong with fresh water Barramundi just Max sure size and bag limits. They change from males to female's at a certain size. So essential to return the real big ones.
Hopefully there is a next time 😁
Starlink ,, how about wind noise supressor? Cheers
Thanks Graeme, we have a dead cat to suppress wind but sometimes it is just too much to suppress! Have a great week!
That’s what we have mate. Sometimes the wind can just be too much or the angle of filming.
I really enjoyed that ep better than your Cape eps
Thank you
Thanks Craid, yeah the Cape I a very different experience. We are back on the road and free camping along the coast. More realistic day to day experiences than the Cape trip!
@@suelandolt6840 Yes I been going to the Cape for 40 years and 20 trips I just go up fishing now stay in one spot upto 6 to 8 weeks,
Trolling to fast Derek
Thought so. Will slow down next time 🙌🏻
Thanks mate 👍 every tip helps.
What was the name of the camping areas? They look good but I don't think you told us the name.
Lake Proserpine
@@justvanningit that looks like an awesome spot on wiki camps, keep the content rolling
@@Aussie_Damo thank you👍🏻
Like your show but for F's sake don't do them in windy areas just wait and make listenable shows
We don’t like to make videos with wind but if we had to wait for the weather we wouldn’t make any. Just remember we don’t have a film crew with all the expensive equipment. We try our best to be honest and that’s all we can do.
The wind noise was so annoying i only watched 3 mins of the video 👎
Thanks for watching 🙌🏻
Bloody hell! Been waiting for someone to test out the star link. Couldn’t hear you guys over the wind please, please, please redo that info again without the wind.
Thank you 🙏 apologies for the wind audio .
We will be releasing a mid week video soon on the starlink after we have used and tested it 🙌🏻
