Assembly to our first cooked pizza on the Gozney Arc XL pizza oven

After assembling this @gozney Arc XL pizza oven, I was worried it was lemon. I almost loaded it up in my truck and returned it. Everything went silky smooth with assembly, but when I attempted to light it…… The flame would not stay lit 🤬.
I couldn’t call customer support because it was after hours, so I emailed them. It ended up taking three full business days for a reply. Not cool @gozney. Not cool at all. You can do better than three days.
Tightening the little loose nut took about 10 minutes, and boom. Let’s go! The pizza oven came roaring to life. I'm so glad it wasn’t a lemon 😏.
During our first attempt to make gluten-free pizza, Janae was stressed because she had no experience with the gluten-free flour. I was stressing because I had no clue what I was doing. I got some insights from my good buddy @chiefjames28 and thought, “If James can do it… Pffft, anyone can do it.” And guess what? I made all the mistakes 😂.
Ruined the first pizza ✅
Burned the toppings on nearly every pizza ✅
Undercooked nearly every pizza ✅
I had almost no fun because I was stressing balls ✅
But by the end of the day, I had started to get the hang of it and realized all my mistakes.
Today, we made pizzas again, and BOOM! I’m freaking Roy Crouch now! Shout out to @royspizzastg 😏🤜🤛. I set the oven to the perfect temperature, used flour and cornmeal, and didn’t ruin or burn a single pizza. Every single one cooked to perfection…. Almost.
Now I love this oven. It’s so rad. @gozney
