I served a bit of time here, between 2012/13, right before it was shut down. All of the remaining inmates were bussed (along with SCI Greensburg inmates) to various prisons around the state. Most ended up at SCI-Phoenix. The amount of sex offenders housed at Cresson was absolutely staggering. I couldn't wait to get out of that damned place.
Thank you! We didn't realize how long it would take to get around in the snow. We wanted to go back and finish the video but we heard of people getting caught a few months after this.
This is my first time watching your incredible videos. I'm sorry, but may I ask what happened to your lovely friend Rebecca with whom you are filming? I saw that you had wrote the Memorial to Her at the end of a few videos she was on with you, and I was shocked to see that. I am Extremely Sorry For Your Loss, and of her Family's.
I went there about two years ago and parked across the street at the.. state park I think. Didn't think it would be super easy access so walked around the whole perimeter before entering and only go to explore about 5 buildings as well. Dope place.
We hiked pretty far ourself for this one. We seen a good half of the buildings, but I wish I went back to see the rest before they started using the property again. Now its a huge grown farm for indoor weed plants. I really wish I could explore it now, haha!
I worked in that prison for nine years. At the heydey, there were almost 2,000 inmates and 500 employees. Great employees, some of the best people I ever worked with and knew. Richard Bell here not Jeff Miller.
It does look so cold. Prisons are always so sad to me. awesome Video. I really enjoy this one. :)
I spent 6yrs here from 2000 - 2006 got out then went back 2009 and got out 2010 for the final time
A close friend of mine did time here from 2006-2010.
@@abandonedcentral this video is so surreal seeing it like this

That. Looks. So. Cold. Especially watching it in July. It's cool to see a place before it is vandalized.
Haha we were so unprepared for snow so it was freezing!
Never got vandalized but it’s renovated now !
Nice place. Great still shots.
Thank you! Much appreciated Beth!
Really enjoyable guys thank you, shame the video wasn't longer.

Wow, that's a lot of inmates. The property was huge. I heard the buildings are now being used for hydroponic farming.
