Bought the basket. As usual, the outstanding quality I've come to expect from JCR. My rig is a rolling ad for JCR. As well as the basket roof rack my XJ is equipped with their skid plate, classic rock rails, gas tank skid, Vanguard Pre Runner front bumper, Vanguard Cut & Fold rear bumper (you can't get these any more), XJ cubby, center console replacement mount and aluminium center console replacement latch (highly recommended to all XJ owners). Everything fit very well and the welds and fabrication are second to none. The powder coating is also very well done. With Matt's help and JCR our XJ is the bomb.
My vote is for the basket and the light bar portion of the pre-runner kit.

I like the pre-runner rack but I'd drill some holes at the front next to the logo and mount a lower crossbar as well as somehow fabbing one to the rear.

It would be nice to see it come with an expanded steel floor, so stuff didn't scratch the heck out of your roof.

How high does it sit above the roof?
Looks like a big area for lights. Why not slim it down to fit a quality light bar.
I like how modular it is. Probably end up welding it together. I don't like the Allen hardware because of the tendency to strip out the heads. I get they we're going for a sleeker look.

Whats the model or complete name of complete roofrack. I would like to buy the one that is complete like the one at the end of the video. Does the safari looking basket comes with preruner also?

Gold. But we pay the shipping.
scott L And it's not powder coated or painted. There are a lot more out there that are powder coated and one piece racks. The problem with the two or three piece racks is, that they will become loose after a while, and the last thing you want is you cargo getting lose and falling on the highway.
