strong leg drive brother, but try to do it like a leg extension instead of pressing into the floor so that your butt stays on the bench - you'll feel more planted as well
why would you post a lift with incorrect form that increases chance of lower back injury? did you not think about impressionable children who might watch this and emulate it and end up injuring themselves? or did you not think that far ahead?
there are people like Togi promoting gambling and steroids and you are worried about me lightly lifting my ass of the bench. I also don't tihnk many "impressionable" children have access to a bench and a barbell. 😂
People always tell me this and I disagree because I am not a powerlifter and I lift for fun so to me as long as the weight goes down and up that's all that counts, also there is no set in stone rule for benching so by your knowledge I should also have to pause it on my chest for it to really count
@@jackkacz lifting butt off the bench is exactly how you cause lower back issues so yeah i'd say it's pretty objectively wrong, and incorrect form to make the exercise easier isn't just "another way to do it", it's you being too weak to do it correctly, it's puss puss behavior to act like you doing it wrong is just "another way to do it", how about take accountability like an adult and fix your form? YOU'RE DOING IT OBJECTIVELY WRONG
this is the definition of ego lifting. a desperate need to hit a PR so you completely sacrifice form just to achieve an arbitrary number, forgetting about the injury risk and only thinking about the short term dopamine, grown adult can't think ahead, pathetic
That's kinda harsh bro. Just a kid lifting some fucking weight. Sure, you're right that's its an ego lift. And I'm sure OP will look back at this video in a couple years laughing his ass off. But like I said, it's just a kid. Encourage him with some good advice without being a massive dickhead okay?
and the trash form gives you a false sense of accomplishment, feeling like you actually completed the lift when in actuality, your bad form allowed other muscles to get involved and help you that aren't supposed to be involved at all, AS WELL AS increasing injury risk for zero benefit, did you not think at all? or are you so dense that you think the lift is completed as long as you lift it up? people have zero understanding of injury risk, biomechanics, proper form, or discipline
Good lift bro, keep working on that form

I'm not a grown adult, I'm barely 17. I also don't care
