I think that the last car is a standard goods car, for example mail or similar and the unit at the back is equivalent to the American caboose. Service personeel can use that cab to do their job.
I ended up replacing the spring on my forklift piece with a rubber band from one of those bracelet sets. They actually work fairly nicely if you are missing a spring.
Generally I like the old trains unless its a new one like the Horizon Express or Maersk Train. Some of the City trains I do not like as much as the older trains.
The steering wheel on the front might represent a hand brake. I agree that the white car is likely a refer. The rubber wheels look pretty new compared to a train set I have from the same era.
I eventually will have a much larger track run. Usuable space is occupied right now, but I am working on clearing things out. Trying to get rid of some comic books and other stuff
I like the part when camera is attached to the engine. It would be cool if there were some nice views around like lego landscapes or castles or cities or at least turns in different directions. Are you going to create the great-lego-mega-train-super-landscape-track-diorama?
@BrickTsar Hello Bricktsar. I am looking to sell my Lego 7730 and 7760, but I am trying to find the best prices for them, but don't know what price to sell them for. Do you know what I should sell them for? The 7730 has been repaired, works and runs nicely. Some pieces are yellowed, but can be reversed, and is complete with instructions and box(Both are in poor condition, but still can be used) Track is clean and in very nice condition, and conduct electricity very nicely. The motor had a cracked wheel, but was repaired and sanded down to give it a nice look, and runs as well as the other ones. The set is complete and in working condition. The Lego 7760 is in very good condition, other than a small crack in the blue 1x3x2 window. Otherwise the set is in very good condition(some yellowing, but can also be reversed). No box or instructions for the 7760. It runs well and works smoothly. How much do you think I should sell each set for? Thanks and best regards
I was wondering if a generic 12v power supply would be ok to run the trains a I've a couple of sets this being one of them, the 7740 and the 7760 Shunter but I can't find the 12v transformer. Is there anything I should be wary of I'm from the UK btw?
Hiya! I've been looking on BL and found some 12v stuff. Problem is, Im in the US, and the power pack has a UK plug. How did you connect the gray speed controller, to a US outlet? I'd really appreciate a reply! :)
This is a really good question. I got a converter off Amazon (they are not too expensive). I posted a video on my other channel and I have been meaning to do one for this channel. Here is the video: Power Bright Step Up Step Down Transformer - Used with Lego European Train The converter can handle pretty much all the possibilities.
Would you like my 7730? I'd sell it pretty cheap to you, just so I could get a new one, cause of the problem. Contact me back if you want to talk about this, cause I wanna get a new one so I can actually run it nice.
sosax02 if you are interested in a Lego 7730, I am selling mine if you wanna talk about getting it from me. Contact me back if this would be possible. Thanks
I don’t know what it is but I really like that triple tanker. I have replicated a lot of those doored gondola trucks
That's one I for sure will keep

That is a good point. I will try that. I will check the ratings so that I don't burn up the motor. But I think you are right.
I am not sure. I have a set 8877 still to review. Busy week ahead. Will try to get to it soon. Thanks for your continued support.
