Yep, that's how they get you and I watched his video yesterday. I was skeptical about some of the things he said and then he said at a discounted price and that's when I said yeah I'm going to run for the hills!
the only reason for someone to give you such discount is: their service isn't worth more... and really, saying "this is the only day to purchase it" was the worst thing they could do. made me jump backwards. what? you don't give me even one day to think? what do you think I will find in this one day? that you are a serial killer?
I am not overweight but I was looking to get into this program so that I could tone and build muscle. I just had some thing in the back of my head telling me …let me just check this out first. So YOU just saved me cash and time. Thank you a million! Time to do it the good old fashion way, and hit the gym❤️
@@alexanderherckenrath7099 For sure! It’s literally a large scale scam!!! I am super skinny and I wanted to do this program so that I could gain weight and build muscle etc. I’m glad that we checked it out first!!! Sending warm blessings your way!!!
I did exactly the same. It felt to good to be true and as it turned out it is. Saved a couple of hundred bucks lol Wow, the story about his mum ? 👏 those little white lies got me 🤔 if there was any truth in that then where was she ? Alot of the time he struggled to match his words with what his facials so you got subtle hints that he had no clue what the fuck he was talking about lol
What a relief! I got so sick of the commercials just going on and on and never explaining anything. I also felt weird when the guy said that he’d never have a salad. He called it rabbit food. Seriously?! You need veggies, at least in the long term. Thanks for posting this 🙌🏻
I'm glad I decided to research this a little, and I'm glad I found your channel, Ben. I'm getting to the point of feeling pretty desperate. I just finished watching their ad and was pretty close to pulling the trigger (out of desperation). Thankfully my brain kicked in and said, "Maybe look a little deeper before parting with money." But I did want to comment on at least one reason people are willing to take a chance on something like this. I'm 60 years old and heavier than I've ever been in my life. I have plantar fasciitis and stand on a concrete floor all day. I've recently begun having knee problems. Because of my age and work environment, I thought that maybe I might need a knee replacement, or at least some kind of surgery. Then I thought that maybe I could put it off a little if I take some of the stress off my feet and knees (ie. lose weight). Who knows, maybe that's the entire problem and I don't need knee surgery at all. So, with that I watched the V Shred video and got some measure of hope back - let's face it, he says all the right things that desperate people want to hear. I personally know people that go to the gym frequently and have not lost any substantial weight. I myself have done that. Also, I've changed my food intake (combined with exercise) and was successful in losing a few pounds - even 20 or so pounds - but as soon as I slack up even a little it comes back and with even more weight (like I said, I weigh more than I ever have, and this after one of the above-described episodes). So, hearing that there might be some "secret" or "what nobody talks about" way is appealing. I mean, what if it's just the sequence of events that I'm messing up, and if I simply make some minor tweaks to what I'm doing, I'll find success. This is VERY enticing. Anyway, I'm not going to fall for it, but I did want to share with you how desperate some people can get and therefore are willing to believe almost anything. Peace.
Check out the carnivore diet. I know it sounds crazy but just do a UA-cam search and watch testimonies and research. It will knock out your food addictions and cravings completely.
I tried slim fast shake and that worked for me, it’s all the vitamins of a complete meal without the bad stuff, I replaced my dinner with the shake and in 2 months I went from 148 to 130 pounds
@@karinarobles8395 "without the bad stuff"? Slim fast shakes are full of sugar (maltodextrin), like it's great if it works for you, but it's not healthier than a healthy varied diet. Perhaps you are comparing to a fast food diet or something?
Good lord 🙄. Scams abound. 1. Get your thyroid tested. 2. Get your hormones tested. 3. Realize if you’ve eaten anything close to the standard American diet, that you may have some insulin resistance. 4. Common fungus overgrowth in the gut will affect everything else. 5. Fix that and it’s the old fashioned solution of good diet and exercise. Great review with humor :)
Lmao!!! This is the BEST video! I loathe V-shred and having been in the fitness industry and supplement industry for over 20 years, I knew immediately V-shred is complete trash and I truly appreciate people who make videos like these calling them out! There is no easy shortcut for health and a good body or anything that's worth it for that matter. NOTHING replaces a proper "diet" (which should be a lifestyle) and exercise. Both have enormous benefits but do require hard work and dedication. Period. Thank you for the awesome video! P.S. - PLEASE Jake, put on a damn shirt! So sick of his stupid ads!
Hands up. I admit it. I fell for their bullshit. But after 2 days of then being inundated with masses of emails, all of which funnily led to overlong adverts for more scam 'supplements' to buy, I soon wised up. I feel better having got that off my chest.
I’m happy I did my research! I watched those 1 hr adds and took notes… and then started googling results and reviews and saw how bad it really is. I might as well get a personal trainer and/or get weight loss surgery
Even weight loss surgery would be less expensive and that is saying something! He's right about us having different body types and that some diets are fads. But you just got to find the right diet for you and then turn that diet into a lifestyle. It's true that you can't always be eating out with friends and eating whatever you want all the time even when you're skinny because they could cause diabetes, cholesterol and heart problems! You can cheat maybe once a week or when you're on vacation but not all the time.
My father in law died on Christmas from a stroke and pneumonia. While in the hospice I became so depressed as the place has an air of sadness and death. Everyone waiting to die while their families (if they had any) celebrated. I need to get my weight under control before I end up like them. I am thankful for this video exposing VShred, and really all the other groups like them. So many "we have the secret to weight loss" videos have been in my FB feed lately. I supposed I don't need any of them as just watching what I eat and moving as much as I can is really all I need to do. There are lots of YT vids about "chair exercises" where you exercise while seated. And I have a calorie counter on my phone so I can track what I eat. Maybe I need to sell that secret to people, LOL
I'm slim and I find it hard to gain muscle. I almost get this program but as usual I'm very skeptical about things that seem too good to be true. I found this video and immediately felt relieved I didn't spend my hard earned money. I'll keep working out at my pace and eating healthy. Thank you so much for helping people and I hope you reach many more !
Thanks for this video Ben this company is what's wrong with the world. I'm diagnosed with an Eating Disorder and these videos were one of the causes. These videos also made me feel discouraged to do any cardio because I would gain weight. I'm sick of people feeling discouraged to do any physical activity because some shredded dude or woman said you shouldn't. I am sorry about the rant I have been working on building muscle and helping myself mentally. Anyone who's reading this just know that you can do this. Just moving and getting out is the best thing to do.
I got sucked into that hour video 😮💨 It was basically if you could edge information 🤣 He would get right up to almost the point he was trying to make and then circle back to the beginning of going to tell you how he could tell you. It was so frustrating and the vid doesn't allow you to go back or fast forward. SCAM
Can we appreciate how this man doing their sales pitches says he doesn't go the gym, but his shoulders look as if he lifts at least 3 times a day... Man got those ROUND shoulders.
Almost fell for it. I'm glad I found your video by researching before buying in. If it's too good to be true, it most likely is. I'll just stick to formulating my own plan and researching expert findings and advice.
First of all I didn't buy anything but I did watch some of the free videos. Vince Sant did make some sense regarding the HIIT exercises. HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING. That's all legit. Great great way to exercise. I've been doing it for years I'm 5'10 180 lb. The best way to lose weight and get in shape, is to burn more calories than you're taking in. When it comes to eating, cut back on your portions. Avoid sweets. Try to eat as healthy as you can, and exercise. Plain and simple. I know everybody is different, but that's basically it, in a nutshell.
Now that we have Trump to reduce prices and RFK to help with healthier foods in America I'm feeling motivated. 75lb weight loss would probably get me my abs back (yes I was once very athletic lol). Correct me if I'm wrong here but I might start buying a lot of chicken breast, maybe steak once or twice a week and of course veggies and I do actually love salad but with blu cheese and buffalo chicken bites in my salad.. without salad dressing. Is this a good diet? I'll probably crave burgers still but I'd try to get low fat burgers and use lettuce instead of bread for my burgers. Thoughts?
I actually fell for it and did the quiz. The video isn’t tailored like it says it is. What they do in every video is put off the thing they’re gonna tell you in just a minute, before going off tangent so you forget about it until he reminds you again lol
I have done so many weight loss videos I am so done with them if there is anyone who really really wants to help someone lose weight, they will do it completely hundred percent free. Then I will fall for that again.
I almost got sucked into this because I wanted to tone up a bit. But something in the back of my mind said do a quick search on this company. You popped up straight away. Thank you for the honest review. These types of adds should be banned! Such a scam just as I thought. Thanks for confirming my suspicions. Cheers,
Ha ha, a VShred advert came up after I watched your video! I feel like -- while I hate the ole -- "We're going to give you all this free information" and then "Oh, that free info was really unhelpful? Okay, well you can pay for better information!" While I hate that, I feel like there may be some information in the VShred overly long presentations that are not total nonsense. For years and years I thought weight loss was calories in and calories out. But a few doctors online introduced the idea that hormones also effect weight loss. A new wrinkle. And this idea of Carb Cycling. It seems like our bodies get stuck (and settle in) with routine that never changes. We've all hit plateaus before. Is there something to the idea of mixing up your diet? Does that also keep you from "falling off the wagon" if you're just eating salads all the time?
I just done the quick questionnaire ( see it every days on UA-cam ) i put my name, hight and weight, was about to put my card numbers but i take time to double check. Thank you ! 💸
I got V Shred before seeing this video og only use it for the program. So I just wantet to know if V Shred is fine when it’s just the program og not the stuff that they sell? Sorry if there is any bad english i'm from Denmark.
Thank you. Like many I am desperate to lose weight gain at age 58. Almost 60lbs in past 10 yrs. Went from cant put on weight to the opposite. Now have self image issues. Eating anxiety. Guilt binges due to salt and carb cravings. High cortisol so what..no HIIT or cardio. Walking isnt doing anything except making my knees, feet and lower back hurt. Cutting back portions sure and then get cravings. Life is out of control. Totally lost no no one just tells you the truth. Thank a million times for your video. It saved my wallet and I from yet another false promise.
This isn't the first i've heard of V Shred being a fraud. Glad this is getting around, it's tough to lose weight, and their marketing is compelling, but money doesn't grow on trees, and it's shitty to take advantage of people.
One thing he is not wrong about is, hormones do majorly affect your ability to maintain, gain or lose weight. Although, he is not explaining it in detail. In order to manage your hormones, you will need to see either a rheumatologist or an endocrinologist. If your thyroid is not functioning properly, managing weight can feel close to impossible, or just flat out dangerous. Someone who has a thyroid autoimmune disease and/or a thyroid imbalance should consult a endocrinologist in order to come up with a "game plan" of how to better their health and possibly gain or lose weight.
I definitely agree with this from personal experience. i also agree you need to see a professional not some scam website selling their own products. :)
Hormones do everything. Saying that is just as unhelpful as saying "Blood majorly affects weight loss ability, without any blood you won't lose weight"
He's not wrong about that part. I am still trying to find a endocrinologist because I have problems with my period sometimes it comes and sometimes it doesn't and last year I went 6 months without having a period. But I'm 2 months late and I'm not sexually active and I don't want to get on birth control. I was on the Depo shot for two years at one point and gained a bunch of weight. Then I would have a lot of trouble losing it after that although part of it was my fault because I should have not gave up on my diet and let myself go completely. I am 29 years old and I am done with birth control and trying to get off as many medications as I can. I am currently trying to get off my Keppra meds for seizures but the doctor says within 1 to 2 years is when I can get off of it completely. The only meds I want to be on is my sleeping meds.
I started watching that free video and about 5 min in, because I did not want to waste an hour, I wanted to find out the “three things to jump start,” and found several videos telling me to stay away. Thanks for saving my precious Sunday morning and money.
Every time I see this ad, every time I add a comment to say it's a scam, every time they delete my comments, which should tell you everything you need to know.
I sought info about the company and instantly noticed the co-founder of the VShed program’s name: Vince Sant. Well, in my world that name is often pronounced as Vincent. That seemed like a scam to me. I then saw your video while conducting some research on this emotionally gripping….fraud. And as the saying goes, “If it sounds to good to be true,” you know the rest. Finally, let me add, I sat through classes at Harvard as my research driven medical professors lamented obesity and how it has become grossly elevated throughout the world. Sadly, I never heard or read any info about a easy fix “metabolism confusion” solution in any credible academic journal’s with empirical research studies results addressing this now global health crisis.
I know I'm 2 years late and I'm gonna comment on your newest vid too, apologies, but what is the answer then? over the last 3 months I went from weighing 240 to 196 now what I did was quite remarkable I was horribly addicted to amphetamines and was just simply not eating cause i was constantly strung out and not hungry I'm afraid of gaining it all back now that I'm clean but also I haven't personally noticed that much change in my physical appearance? how did I lose 44 pounds and not notice any difference in my appearance to me I still have a big ish belly man boobs and lots of fatty areas around my upper torso and inner upper thighs I've been doing some working out and my eating has become somewhat regular again although it's hard to get back to my old appetite(thankfully because I ate like a pig) but what should I be doing to lose this body fat while keeping my weight down should I eat better foods? if so what foods? most of the things I have readily available at prices that fit my budget are overly processed foods/fast foods. should I not worry about the food and just focus on a steady workout routine? if so, what workouts should I do? Where should I start? I'm so lost and I just wanna look not like every other fat American
There are now much newer videos and ok, I’m def feeling the scam tactics, but does anyone know if the new advice is helpful (the endomorph body type, rotating high /low carb days, doing HIIT 3x a week)? I hear a lot about HIIT being superior to long cardio sessions and about low carb diets, but never heard about rotating high/low carb days. Does any of that really work?
You are effing brilliant!!! Your delivery, stellar! I’m pissing myself!! I’m one of those who watched (too much of) a vshred video ages ago. Amazed that the company continues to put “cfm” lipstick on a pig; relentlessly preying on those of us who are feeling a wee bit desperate! Thanks so much for the laugh, as well as the info. I will now click your subscribe button. Cheers!
The keto diet actually works. My sister in-law is on it and lost a lot of weight. I was really thinking about doing this V Shred it sounded amazing but I'm glad I did some research and came across this video before wasting my money and time. I'm going to talk to my sister in- law about the keto diet and go that route.
Without a doubt, Keto works. The Vshred dude is full of it!!! I’m not fat but wanted to loose a few extra lbs. Keto lost me 20lbs in about 2 months. Feeling much better now. More energy, less body aches, etc. I’ve now reintroduced more carbs and maintaining my weight.
Yeah if you can afford it. Meat is super expensive and that like 90% of the diet. No carbs barely allowed any fruits or veggies cause the goal is to burn fat not sugar. Very hard diet for many people to adapt to and probably not good for your heart to become a carnivorous meat eating machine lol...
I can’t do Keto. I tried it and was sick for over a week in bed with what’s called “keto flu” which is basically carb withdrawals. It’s not for everyone.
Keto is bs also. It is not healthy to lose weight with keto. I talked to a doctor and he said yes you might lose some weight but it can also damage your health. Any sort of diet will. You have to have balance which none of the diets provide, there is always favoring some foods and demonizing the others. No food is a demon (even carbs and fats), all of it has to be present for your body to work like Swiss clocks. The root is in quantity
Usually when an ad goes on and on about some "super secret Holywood technique 🤯" or "newly discovered scientific evidence 🤯" without actually explaining anything, I immediately assume it's a scam.
Si I am still on the fence about this. I did in fact lookup hormonal misfiring, and I got quite a bit of hits, (none affiliated with v shred). Do I am questioning both sides here.
Pro tip: people using “hormonal misfiring” are doing the same thing V-Shred does; use vague, nonsensical terminology to ultimately sell you something. Be careful, please 🙂
Thank you for doing this! Most people would be scared to speak up about these corporations because just defending yourself from their frivolous lawsuits can cost you tons of time and money. Keep up the great work!
I also gotta say, when she made my diet she included 2,300 calories a day. For my age and size that’s a lot. Not to sound conspiratorial but do they want me to fail so I buy the supplements? Probably not, but it crossed my mind
They took $200 from my accont and i never purchased anything how do i get my money back? Noome answers the phone amd j dont get any emails back from them..pls help get my refund oh i also never recived nothibg in the mail
I just saw an advertisement by VShred and am glad I decided to find out more before purchasing. Their advertisement no longer consists of those scientific things but seem rather convincing... If VShred doesn't work well to train lean muscles, what would you recommend?
There is no magic secret to gain lean muscle mass. Basically you can take any half-decent structured program and as long as you - implement progressive overload -use proper lifting form and range of motion (You can check techniques videos on youtube, or ask to for a trainer at your gym to check your form) -go close enough to failure on each set (1-3 reps) - eat enough protein - sleep enough - are consistant in your effort. You will make progress and build some muscle. Advanced lifting techniques only start mattering when you've been lifting for a few years already
Thank you for making this video. These adds are immensely predatory. And that pressure at the end! "If you exit this page you'll have to pay full price" "If you don't by my shit you'll continue to be a failure because clearly you're not committed" "what do you have to lose" my money... If he "cares" so much, why not make it "pay what you want" or something? Ugh
Great video. The Vshred commercials are hilarious. He constantly states that you don't have to work out or do cardio, while every image is of a person lifting weights or doing cardio, including him. The simple fact of weight loss is that you MUST take in fewer calories than you burn. Period. That's it. The work outs will make you stronger or healthier, and burn additional calories if you want to expedite weight loss. Too many people want a magic fix.
I took the quiz and watched the video so that I could see what info he had. I never planned on getting the program and I'm glad I didn't. I figured it was more if a hoax, although a lot if the info in my video made sense. However, the shady thing I noticed is the "family friend named Kathy". The video you played is different than mine, so it wasn't tailored to the endomorph body type like mine was. In my video he mentioned a family friend named Kathy is an endomorph, and I briefly saw he talks about Kathy in this video as well. 🤔🤔🤔 It's true what they say; If it's sound too good to be true, it probably is.
Thank you - V shred presenter came across as completely untrustworthy- so I backed away - sticking to low carb and resistance training - works for me ❤
So glad I watched this video! I almost fell for VShred! I was like, "Sounds like they have the answer to everything, right? I've always wanted to time travel, and WHAT? Only $57.00? Look out younger me! I'm on my way...if I can just remember where I put my debit card!"
I got tired of the ads and did a search because I hated how vague and confrontational they were. It just his me that the ad I saw the most, was shredded guy biting into a doughnut he probably spit out after that clip. Thanks for looking into it for me so I don't have to give him a click.
Fairly new to this - but - the (nearly hour long) ad I watched on their fat loss extreme program seemed to have some decent info about benefits of HIIT & diet/metabolism variation, I watched it with cynical, NLP aware eyes though and skipped the hyper-sales pitch at the end - I’m inspired by the attitude of possibility that was shared, am just going to take the free research pointers! Maybe I’ll find out that isn’t the ‘solid science’ the speaker said… Either way it’s such a shame they seek to exploit others suffering and hopes.
Its NOT a scam. It just tells you almost the exact same thing as ALL the other programs. The only thing i followed (i would NEVER waste money on those supplements) is the "metabolic confusion", which really works for me, since carbs are my addiction. AND neither of the menus work for me to folo for the rest of my life. When you like to eat more than salads, egg whites, chicken and avocado toast. So still calorie counting.
Wow I work in the digital industry myself (and am aware of storytelling and one or two psychological biases you can use) but I still almost got tricked by it - however I usually get a bit sceptical when people are taking like 10 min showing how bad this and this is and still keeping the "secret" away from me - yet I often watch until the end - but thankfully to your video I didnt't go back to purchase their stuff...
We tend to look to the right when we are imagining things, but towards the left when we are remembering. However, it is also thought that looking to the right and downwards suggests self-doubt, while looking to the right and up indicates that a person is telling untruths.
I was into it until he said you can eat junk food a couple times a week. It's one thing if you're on vacation or maybe once a week you can have a cheat day. But if you eat unhealthy all the time, then you could very well get diabetes, cholesterol and many other diseases. People lose the weight at different speeds and losing 1 to 3 pounds a week is healthy. But a lot of people want to see the results right away and it's not going to work that way. I do agree with him on the part where he says we all have different body types and that some diets are fads. But some of them are genuinely good diet where you can incorporate it into a lifestyle. Sometimes losing all the weight very fast could be bad and you can end up gaining it back. I rather do it the old-fashioned way which cost way less and in some cases, your health insurance even covers the cost gyms. I joined the YMCA gym with my health insurance. Although, it would be nice to have a personal trainer, just so my workout routines would be better because I feel like I need more guidance.
Instantly emailed for a refund. I didn't realize this would be so much of a scam when I just have to do what I need for my body, I don't need some guy preaching to me about BURN supplements and spamming my email 🙂
I agree the advertising is so over the top and agree with you - however I have it (it didn’t cost me much and I knew someone who had it so got it ) one off payment can’t remember now but less than £30 and the workouts and meal plan you get are really good - basically the right way of losing weight so I really don’t understand why they had to advertise it the way they do (maybe to get people to the. Commit to the personalised 1-1 if they make it sound more fancy) but you don’t need it and they don’t pressure you too either ) but the app I think is really good - they didn’t need to do all the crap x
Is it just me or does everybody else get frustrated that Vin Sant can talk for 5 minutes without actually saying a single piece of information? He even references scams and says he isn’t one 😂😂😂
Just cancelled immediately 45 minutes after joining from seeing this. Something made me google if this was a scam after the fact. I’m super impulsive. Thank you!!!!
Im so sick of hearing "Stop doing cardio or I'm going to jump into this pool" First of all, it's a pool so who cares if you jump in?! That's just stupid. Now if it's a pool of acid or flesh eating bacteria, I'm going to start doing cardio just so his ass will jump in and go away
Thank you. I just watched the sales video and was about to sign up for the "one time" $57. But there was a counter saying I only had less than 9 minutes to take advantage of that special price. Red flag!!! So I decided to do some more research first. I'll pass.
Would love you to create a video on ways to actually get from “skinny fat” to “very toned” because it seems impossible and how I ended up on v shred and to you. Subscribed to you btw.
I agree with what is being said about I could be viewed as a scam or what ever but I recently purchased the content and if you follow what they are telling you to do you are going to gain a shot load of muscle or lose weight, whatever your goal may be. It would be impossible not to.
Very honest kudos to you sir for uncovering this scam! I do like the bit where he says you can eat your favourite foods but then presents a bloody controlled diet with portion size AND at the start mentions carb cycling well keto deals with Carbs !!! However keto does work but being in a high chloestrol statin user I swayed off keto. The professor left me with some wise words were fad diets keto/atkins ect are not easy to preserve long term? And if we were only meat earer why do we have teeth to help us eat a omnivorous diet! If we were meant just for meat we would have teeth like a wolf or a dog!! Food for thought eh!!
I bought the Fat Loss Extreme 90 day plan from VShred and did my first cycle of it. In 4 months I’ve lost 45 lbs and it’s been going well. Can’t speak on their supplements though. Never bought them.
Yeah that part sounded legit with the exercises and the recipe book. It’s the supplements that I’m sus of. Glad to see a commenter speaking from actually having done the program. I will definitely try the fat loss program! Also congrats on your loss! And by loss I mean achievement lmao
I "applaud" them for following all weight loss scam steps. 1. Come up with a reason why you are not losing weight despite trying. 2. Come up with the "scientific" solution. 3. Use some unfounded scientific evidence. 4. Use someone in healthcare to promote it. 5. Sit back and take people's money.
Thank you so much for your honesty. I really appreciate your help in clearing up the crap this scammer was posting. Thank you for helping me avoid a super dud & moving on to a healthier approach to my weight loss journey.
Yes I watched it too. About hormones this interested me but wasn't sure. It just shows the power of advertising. So back to square one, I need to lose a stone and tone. All gone to pot since covid19, surgery and not being able to work. Thanks 🙏🏽
This review is phenomenally thorough and clever. V shred is the biggest scam. I looked at this a whole back and just couldn’t sit through the continuously long videos.
I actually listened to the pitch but it was taking so long I felt like I was being raped in the ear! That's when I decided to google it on my desktop (whilst the guy was babbling on my cell phone). Just exited out of on my phone so as not have my any more of time wasted. Thanks for the review! Prolly saved me $57!
Ha ha ha ha "raped in the ear" Nancy MacKell that is priceless! I will have to remember that when being put on hold with particular doctor's offices, my pharmacy, etc. One, that unfortunately I have to call often, makes me listen to both "My Girl" and "Hotel California" looped over and over and over when on hold, interspersed with "Your call is important to us, someone will be with you momentarily" or stuff like "Did you know? If you are fifty or over, the new Care Card our office offers is (bla bla bla)." Then back to the tail end of "My Girl" and straight into "Hotel California." EAR RAPE! At last I have a term I can use to TELL them just what I think of their hold "program." : D
I keep seeing, these ads on u- tube constantly. And plan. I'm sick of them. I don't know why. Yes, I got a little dad body. But, girls love me love handels. And I watched their ads. I was thinking of buying the supplement. But, everything in the supplements in the v shread. They sell . You can buy or get all them in Walmart or health food stores. But, something in my head was saying as I watched the sdm I smell bull 💩. Thanks for confirming my scam alert light
The thing is we don’t know who is lying anymore because the company I work with is legit but a lot of people say is a scam. The competition started it and then they paid people to switch and promote their brand and then paid people to talk lies about their previous company. No ethics at all and I know the company is good and using their products 7 years and no complains.
Thought I'd add that 3 years later v shred is still going...literally watched a 10min video of him telling me he's going to tell me the 3 secret methods... he never told me them.
I'll make videos about weight loss, diet plans, basic training tips and all for free! It's time to put a stop on these scammers, knowledge should be shared for free. I really noticed their ads which is basically every second ad I see for the last few days and what's eorse the dude is just talking without saying anything and the ads are pretty long. "don't go running" "don't lower carbs" "don't *insert whatever actually helps you spend energy*". So I was like well what are you actually selling then?! A Matrix blue/res pill? 😂 Noticed also bunch of Reddit posta calling them out for being a scammers, and on one sites bunch of reviews where people paid and didn't receive anything special in the first month, had troubles getting refunds and basically getting spam mail with additional products to buy.
Usually when someone is telling me that today is the only day I can purchase something at discounted rate, I immediately suspect a scam
Common sense eh? Nice tactic. Wish more folks were armed with this skill...
Unfortunately its true sometimes though. Not just a sales tactic. Being pessimistic will keep you limited. You're welcome for the life nugget
They are utilizing FOMO and high pressure sales techniques
I am not overweight but I was looking to get into this program so that I could tone and build muscle. I just had some thing in the back of my head telling me …let me just check this out first. So YOU just saved me cash and time. Thank you a million! Time to do it the good old fashion way, and hit the gym❤️
Came here after just watching the sales pitch for 90 day shred program. Thank you and everyone else for saying for what it really is.
@@alexanderherckenrath7099 For sure! It’s literally a large scale scam!!! I am super skinny and I wanted to do this program so that I could gain weight and build muscle etc. I’m glad that we checked it out first!!! Sending warm blessings your way!!!
Same here! My brain went to: hmmm, let's try UA-cam first to see what other people have said/tried with this.
@@vodahoe1967 Exactly.. its so disgusting. I hate liars that scam and take advantage of ppl.
Rule number 1 to prevent scams on the internet: If something is too good to be true, it’s because IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.
What a relief! I got so sick of the commercials just going on and on and never explaining anything. I also felt weird when the guy said that he’d never have a salad. He called it rabbit food. Seriously?! You need veggies, at least in the long term. Thanks for posting this 🙌🏻
Not true. Some people have been doing carnivore for 20+ years now.
Peace.
Maybe start small.. check out a foot doctor for your plantars fascitis.. get custom orthotics .. and start there.
Check out the carnivore diet. I know it sounds crazy but just do a UA-cam search and watch testimonies and research. It will knock out your food addictions and cravings completely.
Glad you didn't get duped, man!
Even that is cheaper than going through with his plan!
Holy shit, this company found a loophole in thermodynamics. I suspect they will solve all energy problems soon.
It’s always those Harvard scientists (whose names are normally not mentioned) that find the best stuff 🙈😂
You mean Vince Sant?
Hands up. I admit it. I fell for their bullshit. But after 2 days of then being inundated with masses of emails, all of which funnily led to overlong adverts for more scam 'supplements' to buy, I soon wised up. I feel better having got that off my chest.
Omg me tooo! Only problem is they took out money several times!! I'm STILL DEALING WITH IT FROM MARCH!!!
PLZ SIGN AND SHARE MY PETITION!!
Same here😢
Omg...that sucks! I almost thought of getting it too...but yeah...non stop adverts....not good
I’m happy I did my research! I watched those 1 hr adds and took notes… and then started googling results and reviews and saw how bad it really is. I might as well get a personal trainer and/or get weight loss surgery
The same here I hate the quizzes. For me, it’s too good to be true. Blessings to you all.
Watch Dr Berg's videos
😫ugh I literally just took notes too then found this video
Even weight loss surgery would be less expensive and that is saying something! He's right about us having different body types and that some diets are fads. But you just got to find the right diet for you and then turn that diet into a lifestyle. It's true that you can't always be eating out with friends and eating whatever you want all the time even when you're skinny because they could cause diabetes, cholesterol and heart problems! You can cheat maybe once a week or when you're on vacation but not all the time.
Almost got taken. Was reaching for my wallet. Then I watched you. Not only do I owe you money, you made me laugh. Thank you.
SCAM
wow exactly my thought. only the frustration from him is enough to make you want to close the video...
Thoughts?
I lost 9kg with his programare
Cheers,
Thankfully someone is willing to stand up and explain how much of a scam this is. No miracles in weight loss - energy in energy out + discipline.
Watch Dr Berg's videos 😊
Hormones do everything. Saying that is just as unhelpful as saying "Blood majorly affects weight loss ability, without any blood you won't lose weight"
He right
He's not wrong about that part.
Cmon man, everyone knows that if you drop a bunch of sciency names backed by mysterious research, that you're always right.
Are they making dollar through view times on youtube - directing you to hour long videos?
I have done keto too and I lost 13 kg in about four months it does work
Yeah if you can afford it.
You video was far more entertaining than the VShred movie I just wasted my time watching … Thks for saving me the $$$💪🏾
I also gotta say, when she made my diet she included 2,300 calories a day. For my age and size that’s a lot. Not to sound conspiratorial but do they want me to fail so I buy the supplements? Probably not, but it crossed my mind
That's not uncommon and it's not wrong tbh
@@jessicakennedy5079 what is not uncommon? What is not wrong? Me or them?
thank you for saving me money. What do you recommend: portion control?
For me, the final straw was when I saw Dr. Drew jump on the bandwagon. What a schill.
That’s what made me found this video. Ugh major ick
Basically you can take any half-decent structured program and as long as you
- implement progressive overload
-use proper lifting form and range of motion (You can check techniques videos on youtube, or ask to for a trainer at your gym to check your form)
-go close enough to failure on each set (1-3 reps)
- eat enough protein
- sleep enough
- are consistant in your effort.
You will make progress and build some muscle. Advanced lifting techniques only start mattering when you've been lifting for a few years already
Just watched the hour long ad. 😅 will never get that hour back
There is no mystical solution to weight loss, it's literally just dedication and hard work.
I cant tell you how glad I am that I watched this video.
I always felt this fool was shady so sad how they prey on ppl trying to better themselves…. Hope they get sued or shutdown
I’m so happy I found this guy. I’m always partial to dudes who don’t take themselves too seriously.
Thank you - V shred presenter came across as completely untrustworthy- so I backed away - sticking to low carb and resistance training - works for me ❤
So please tell me what program out there is legitimate
We bought it and it's actually great. My hubby and I both got in shape. We don't buy the supplements. Just the 90 day work out.
I got the 90 days tone. I just began and actually it feels great those daily workout.
So glad I watched this video! I almost fell for VShred! I was like, "Sounds like they have the answer to everything, right? I've always wanted to time travel, and WHAT? Only $57.00? Look out younger me! I'm on my way...if I can just remember where I put my debit card!"
I was falling asleep _ONLY_ listening to this as much as possible and all I could only picture the Geico gecko 🦎💬talking 😂
I got tired of the ads and did a search because I hated how vague and confrontational they were.
It just his me that the ad I saw the most, was shredded guy biting into a doughnut he probably spit out after that clip.
Thanks for looking into it for me so I don't have to give him a click.
LMFAO!!! After watching, at end of video I got served a V-Shred ad.
I actually just finished my day 64 workout. Carb cycling and have lost 15 pounds with a care free Disneyland trip in there. I love this program. 😊
“Scamming little shit gibbon” lmfao I love it 😂😂
Fairly new to this - but - the (nearly hour long) ad I watched on their fat loss extreme program seemed to have some decent info about benefits of HIIT & diet/metabolism variation, I watched it with cynical, NLP aware eyes though and skipped the hyper-sales pitch at the end - I’m inspired by the attitude of possibility that was shared, am just going to take the free research pointers!
I came here from your wedding. I trust you. My fiancee is a man like you. Thank you for doing this work. ❤😊
Seriously, you're one of the only people I trust in this entire industry. Loved reading your book.
Dr drew is part of the advertisements. He’s in on it. I know he’s a different dr but still
I agree the advertising is so over the top and agree with you - however I have it (it didn’t cost me much and I knew someone who had it so got it ) one off payment can’t remember now but less than £30 and the workouts and meal plan you get are really good - basically the right way of losing weight so I really don’t understand why they had to advertise it the way they do (maybe to get people to the. Commit to the personalised 1-1 if they make it sound more fancy) but you don’t need it and they don’t pressure you too either ) but the app I think is really good - they didn’t need to do all the crap x
I watched one of their videos. He said there were 3 fat burning hacks, the third "hack" was to buy his product.
Help. I want a refund but can not find a phone # to call. VERY UPSET WITH PROGRAM.
Thank you so much for this review. I see this all the time, I was also questioning all these terms about metabolism.
I'll pass.
Is there a way to get the money they scammed out from me?
I tried this. I felt like I was starving myself on a low carb day and also I gained weight instead of losing it.
That sucks. Sorry you had to deal with this.
This man's commentary has me DEAD asF beautifully made lmaooo
Yes I watched it too. About hormones this interested me but wasn't sure. It just shows the power of advertising. So back to square one, I need to lose a stone and tone. All gone to pot since covid19, surgery and not being able to work. Thanks 🙏🏽
This review is phenomenally thorough and clever. V shred is the biggest scam. I looked at this a whole back and just couldn’t sit through the continuously long videos.
How can I get my money back?
Not sure a person should advocate NOT exercising, no cardio. Your heart is a muscle and does need exercising. I think he is full of it.
What workouts do you do and how often etc
How is the guy in the commercial not ashamed to show his face for them?
I hate these commercials, I’ve even been tempted …. But in the back of my head I knew it was bullsh*t … your video confirms my thoughts
