What the best single player modded experiences for bridge commander. I think the dream that I'm hoping for is a run through from beginning to end, but with Canon balancing and torpedo loads. Is that possible with any version of the mods out there?
I personally recommend this one. The Legacy mod was specifically designed to be a direct upgrade of the original stock game, while respecting the relative strengths of each ship as you would seen on the TV show.
Thanks! I would recommend Bridge Commander Legacy or Star Trek Bridge Commander Remastered. With Legacy it has the same feeling as the stock game and you get the excellent movie music :-D . In terms of canon balancing I would recommend Legacy. So far I've been impressed with the balancing. I'm currently playing through the single player campaign myself.

It’s pretty easy with newer released ships. Just copy the folders from the new ship and it should be good to go. Be warned, the stats for downloaded ships may not be balanced for for Legacy. New ship releases will say “KM” or “Remastered” version, meaning they are balanced against those mods, not Legacy. I’m author for this mod. Adding ships is easy… balancing them to the other ships in the mod is the tricky part. I’ll probably approach this one ship at a time. For out of universe ships, I’m a little more lax on those, since in-universe balancing would never make sense anyway. I could do a Stargate pack… but keep in mind that there shouldn’t be anything stopping you from adding a Stargate pack that’s already out there.
