Thank you. We have a big classic car show this Saturday at the local Harley dealer and I'll be there talking cars with the owners so stay tuned.
Great stories about people buying these classics for cheep, fixing them up, and keeping them for years. I bought a ‘65 Ford Custom for $100 from a friend in 1982, tuned it up, replaced the points, plugs and oil, ran great. Had a 352, I put dual exhaust on it. A policeman pulled me over for a taillight out. All he talked about how the police had Ford Customs for squad cars, he reminisced for about 30 minutes, and let me go.
I sold it when I joined the Navy in 1985, wish I still had it.
