- Saturday, February 7th, 2009 the 40th anniversary of this MidWinter fire ceremony was observed in Stanfordville, NY. The invocation commenced with greetings to all and the traditional reading from the book of Moominland MidWinter. This was followed by a procession of the celebrants to the fire circle and the lighting of torches which in turn were used to ignite the ritual bonfire amidst jubilant shouts of "HokaHey!"
