Thanks for the video. Extremely helpful! Just took mine out for a test drive after the install. It's 34 degrees out but my oil temps never even got passed 180. I wasn't out long but I felt the cooler and the lines and they were hot. Isn't the thermostat supposed to stay closed until 185?
Great informative video. How have future oil changes been? Do you still use 5.4 quarts or do you check the oil level and top it off as needed (according to the Perrin install manual)? Also, when you drain the oil from the pan during changes, does the oil drain out of the cooler too? If not, does that mean you never really have clean oil?
Nice install man. I got really confused too trying to figure out what outlet to connect the hoses there near the filter. I just ended up guessing and it's worked out. You should see the temps stay significantly lower than before. 👍
Nice video. Just curious, how do you get the extra oil out when you're doing an oil change?
thanks to this video im confident enough to do this install now!!!! thanks man
thanks for making this video, just got my perrin oil cooler kit today.
Grats! Hope the video is helpful for ya.
Trying to install it now.. but the hoses fitting are touching the coolant reservoir tank.. is it okay?

So far the temps are well controlled
Don’t you have to add like another .5 quart or so of oil since now your system is slightly larger from the cooler?
Like how long did it take you to install?
I have heard you can use Mishimoto mounting bracket with the Perrin Oil Cooler and mount your cooler horizontally on the crash beam.
Might try that out one day
Keep up the awesome content! 🔥🚀✌
Thanks Gil!
After it installed, how many quartz do you put when doing change oil?
About 6
Whats cooler than being cool? Ice cold!!
A polar bears toenails
220 is not too hot
That’s just for one pull on the highway. Temps would go a lot higher without backroads driving before the cooler
