I love this project, it's so clever! I love the two tone denim panels. Thanks for explaining the presser feet and showing how to put in the zip. Very useful and well explained! Your channel is very innovative.
I used your method to create my pattern 3 days ago and I am a day away from finishing my skirt! Thank you for this informative tutorial. I wish I could post a pic here to show you what you helped me make. I did add a waistband to mine because I didn't like the way the top of my skirt turned out. Also my zipper gave me so many fits! I couldn't make a hidden zipper out of a regular metal zipper. Anyway, thank you!
Thank you, thank you for all your super ideas ! I use the summer dress to made a dress a bit different but it was my first and I was very proud. So thanks to you!!!😘💙

Hello again Jess. Thank you for uploading this video and I'm going to finding it very useful next year when I start making my own clothes. Jeff you are so beautiful you know that? I just love your accent it's so cute and beautiful. Where did you get that roll neck top you're wearing with that skirt in this video? Could you teach us how to make a cold shoulder roll neck top please? Also could you shower how to make a skirt from a small size denim jacket? Again thank you very much for uploading this video showing us how to do it it. Love pure xxxx
Hey Jess..this was really cute..but could you please design a short dress using different coloured pairs of jeans..i mean like a dress which has different shades of denims..
Jess, this tutorial reminded me of something I wanted to ask for a long time ... can you make an evasé denim skirt with leftovers from other jeans inspired by the skirt that one of the BlackPink girls wears on Lovesick Girls ???
Thank you for making this tutorial! It's so adorable. I wanna make one for myself too but I don't have any sewing machine:< If you don't mind I just wanna ask what is the alternative way of overlocking, without using any machine? Thank you♥️
You could get yourself a pair of pinking shears, they'd stop the fabric from fraying without overlocking. In this case you could simply leave the bottom seam unfinished to save time, frayed edges are common with denim clothes, so don't worry about it.
Looks great! I need to try this!
Jess, this is such a cute skirt! I am always looking for fun ways to use old jean fabric. Thank you.

You can do the hand-sew as well. But for overlock without the machine, it'll take very long time to finish
You could get yourself a pair of pinking shears, they'd stop the fabric from fraying without overlocking. In this case you could simply leave the bottom seam unfinished to save time, frayed edges are common with denim clothes, so don't worry about it.
Can I still make it even without the sewing machine? How do I do that? 😢😢
Can be hand sewn with running and back stitches.
Jess what machine do you use
It's called Merrit Joyful Sewing
Me gusto mucho^^
Thanks!
Is anyone here as happy as I am when I knew Jess finally bought a long ruler? Lol 🤣🤣🤣
