It certainly was a different time in 1972. The FBI knows that 3 hit men are there to kill a federally protected witness and the FBI just asks them to leave and the LAPD escorts the hit men to a plane to leave the state. Didn't arrest them, detain them, track them. Just asked them to leave.
I'm not positive but I think the way statutes of limitations work is you have x amount of time to charge someone with the crime. If you charge th with it, even if you can't find them, you've stopped the clock on the statute. So I'm guessing they actually filed charges against him, but he was considered a fugitive fr justice. If it didn't work that way, anyone could commit a crime and then just hide from police to let the clock run out. But by charging them before you catch them, it stops the clock and even if they hide for several years, when you finally do find them they can still be taken to trial on the charges that were filed. Even if it was 8 years later.
I think Oxymorons was actually a pretty good movie. Hickey's a friend of mine tho, so maybe I'm a lil biased... If the polygraph shows deception the person is considered a suspect. If it doesn't show deception they are still a suspect because the polygraph can be beat. It almost doesn't make sense to use them at all.
ye and he snitched on them, to get his "bank robbery charge" reduced to conspiracy. hahah. he got nothing out of talking. bank robbery is for people doing the actual robbing. i bet there was never even a chance he would have gotten charged with bank robbery even if he didn't talk. fool. he would have gotten away with much lower charge, but admitting he knew about the robbery was the only reason they could charged him with conspiracy. otherwise he would have gotten only a charge for selling guns illegally, way better than conspiracy.

big mistake getting someone invovled that had nothing to do with the crime. steal a car and use the stolen car and dump it. and leave the country. do not hang around and certainly dont come back..,
Assuming you're talking about the first episode, it seems like they could have used fake id's to get fake names on the flight passenger manifests. I'm told it was much easier, pre 9/11. That way, there isn't 6 people known to be part of a burglarly ring on 2 flights to the same place. Or find some other means to get to the west coast
That Blackburn guy...what a genius. Commits a violent robbery even though he doesn't want to go to jail. And his wife parently cared more about him than her kids. She could have rescued them, but chose not to.
It is just sad to know that he killed his girl and his children just so he wouldn't have to go back to prison my heart goes out to them he should have just surrendered all that would have probably have happened if he would have done his time and then been released and he would have been able to live and his kids and his girl it's just a tragic situation all the way around and I feel bad for the family that had to endure everything that he did his choices in life we're not the best I can understand why somebody doesn't want to go to prison but if you do a crime specially a violent crime and you get caught just did at least Junior time so you can get out and then maybe fix the mistakes you made and be happy and live life

OR, how about don't get involved in crime & live an honest life.
@@cleo1618 i didnt like that idea
I saw this video very good.
You did what you had to do. We can't do wrong and expect the world to forgive us? If we do the crime we must be ready for the time. Sorry for the children.
That last episode ;_; What an inhuman monster
How could these first dudes b so slick, yet so clumsy at the same time....always ditch anything used In the crime... cars, tools everything.... no cell phones
One of the agents in the 1st story name was Jimmy Conway. Isn't that Robert De Niro characters name in Goodfellas
Yes maybe
Holy shit yes haha! I never would have thought of this. Awesome.
Absolutely sleeping pills 💊.... im addicted to fbi files....who else in 2022?
It certainly was a different time in 1972. The FBI knows that 3 hit men are there to kill a federally protected witness and the FBI just asks them to leave and the LAPD escorts the hit men to a plane to leave the state. Didn't arrest them, detain them, track them. Just asked them to leave.
Right 😂😂😂😂
Harry really wanted to be caught 😂
What about the Statute of Limitations; how could they arrest Harry Barber after more than 8 years after the robbery?
Federal crime, so the SOL is like 30 years of something?
Some crimes do not have statutes of limitations...
@@BeRightBack131 Thanks for that, BeRightBack.
Statues of limitations differ in every state, in the U.S.
I think Oxymorons was actually a pretty good movie. Hickey's a friend of mine tho, so maybe I'm a lil biased...
What you mentioned in 2004 brought down some friends of mine, in Gloucester and Peabody. I was almost got wrapped up in it too. I know whose dad you mentioned, that wasn't link tho. Another good video man. 👊
If the polygraph shows deception the person is considered a suspect. If it doesn't show deception they are still a suspect because the polygraph can be beat. It almost doesn't make sense to use them at all.
Simms…. Life with out possibility of parole seems pretty harsh for someone that only supplied the weapons
ye and he snitched on them, to get his "bank robbery charge" reduced to conspiracy. hahah. he got nothing out of talking. bank robbery is for people doing the actual robbing. i bet there was never even a chance he would have gotten charged with bank robbery even if he didn't talk. fool. he would have gotten away with much lower charge, but admitting he knew about the robbery was the only reason they could charged him with conspiracy. otherwise he would have gotten only a charge for selling guns illegally, way better than conspiracy.
what is the incentive not to kill, with punishments so harsh?
@@user-A1A1 He should have asked for a lawyer.
This narrator is the GOAT!!
Oh and you could do better. 🙄
@@STORMY0O means greatest of all times
I also try to fall asleep listening to it
All that work by the FBI puts into this and he gets 15yrs! I hope the rest get life!
Then in the second episode they’re both on parole 🤔…smh!
9:46 Banks were closed on weekends in 1972 as they are now, but there were no security guards, no checking rounds, in a place weher a lot of money and valuables are kept?
I wish I could go back in time and prevent these guys from making such careless mistakes. These guys truly pulled off the greatest heist in history, and it pains me that they were apprehended. The two man heist was a disaster and those two deserved to be caught and lock in jail for life.
Nope in the 90s. Some fellows ripped off in California' 19, ooo, ooo
Exactly..the greatest heist in history in my book.
I agree. So bad ass
So was it the greatest heist or a disaster???
@@zariballard it's all about perception my friend.
Do we have new ones?
For now the answer to your question is probably No. Fbi files will notify us all when the New upload is about to go down. Keep watching these old ones they are pretty good.
If you do crime, wash dishes, that is what I learned today 😂😂😂
they could have said something seeing that he was in a completely different room, they could have signaled
This was literally just loose lips sinking ships.
There’s always a rat… otherwise they were Scott free… 😂
big mistake getting someone invovled that had nothing to do with the crime. steal a car and use the stolen car and dump it. and leave the country. do not hang around and certainly dont come back..,
I'd rather be a rat than a theif
@@KK-zb9oh id rather be a thief, the rat is the lowest.
They should have driven to California
Assuming you're talking about the first episode, it seems like they could have used fake id's to get fake names on the flight passenger manifests. I'm told it was much easier, pre 9/11. That way, there isn't 6 people known to be part of a burglarly ring on 2 flights to the same place. Or find some other means to get to the west coast
There is a T-Rex 🦖 in Yellowstone 🙌🏻🦔
That Blackburn guy...what a genius. Commits a violent robbery even though he doesn't want to go to jail. And his wife parently cared more about him than her kids. She could have rescued them, but chose not to.
We're looking for three males which are either white Black Or Hispanic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It would be funny if they ended up being Asian
It is just sad to know that he killed his girl and his children just so he wouldn't have to go back to prison my heart goes out to them he should have just surrendered all that would have probably have happened if he would have done his time and then been released and he would have been able to live and his kids and his girl it's just a tragic situation all the way around and I feel bad for the family that had to endure everything that he did his choices in life we're not the best I can understand why somebody doesn't want to go to prison but if you do a crime specially a violent crime and you get caught just did at least Junior time so you can get out and then maybe fix the mistakes you made and be happy and live life
1st bank robbery then second bank robbery 🤔🤔🤔 Big difference between the 2.
May i asking who have watched on Full Episodes..
This is about their Families please respected the people in this Video especially for Frontier Police, FBI Documentaries and FORENSICS.
What does your UA-cam name mean? And what does your comment mean?
How they know with all that mess what belong too whom got what ? In safe deposit box's ?
amazing education for all of them.
Thank God for good people the FBI did that incredible impeccable job this seem to be like a really hard Trace but the FBI they're brilliant they're smart man that's why they have that college background 👍
You don't need a college background to be a good detective, believe me.
Bonjour je voudrais les suivre en français
I would’ve told Blackburn that well let you go free drive away and leave the kids in the hotel room then block all the streets half a mile away so he doesn’t escape give him hope that he’ll be free
the dye washes right out of the bills.
Good to know😮
If you like the older movies There’s a true story from 1970s I think. In Florida, Everglades … bank robbers and the fbi chase. Great movie. But kinda sad ending.
I like the way he tells 😏 the tv 📺 show🎉❤🎉
Agent Schlumpf has a German name, but a Polish-American accent, therefore he is very likely half Polish.
Didn't lots of Germans move to Poland during and after the war?
@@headliner48 I don't know but that would make sense. There was the forced deportation also of the Sudeten Germans. To avoid that some would likely have gone into Poland. Eisenhower was part jewish and so was particularly vengeful against Germans after the war.
@@headliner48 Also was a German community in Lodz before the war, who had been invited to abide there by the Czar because they were able to weave.
Before the war the Polish government created concentration camps and put many of the folks of Lenz thereinto, and beated some of the women until their uteri fell out of them. One man whom I knew in USA was from there; and his mother had been putted into a concentration camp outside of Lodz.
Oops I think it was Lodz not Lenz. I changed the message above accordingly.
This bank robbery hits different while your playing GTA5
1:51:15 the investigators must have been absolutely useless, “there were people going in every half hour”… “the lady is giving piano lessons” did you guys not look at the age/height/demographic of the people going in and out? I mean a 30 year old Is gonna look heavily different from 14 year old tommy whose mom wants him too play piano
When you do Crimes like this you don't STICK AROUND!!! Get the fuc on Down!!!🤦🏾♂️
What's with the soldering iron??? You don't solder clipped wires together. That seems like nonsense, and that spray foam was kinda dumb too. It gave them away and you could have gotten the same results taking the bell off. It's just one simple screw.
Whats the name of the background sound track?
I'D NEVER BE A GUARD
Guess they got medals for an entire family lost
Why is it that the technician and some others are not wearing pair of gloves to protect the crime scene @ 03:30 ?!
Pls do three separate videos 🙏
