Sir not everyone will be below 100 rank . Please try to focus on cgpa as well .Making career of 10 destroying of 10000 . Focus on academic and learn new tech rather than going for these competitive exams which have succcess percentage less than 1 percent

One correction sir is totally correct at every point but is definitely wrong at one point a person who get both good cgpa say 8.5+ and a good gate rank can do anything with its life , but a person who get good cgpa and say bad gate rank still do a lot , as you will be able to apply for self sponsored exams at iits and nits, these iits consider cgpa and shortlist accordingly, this year IIT Hyderabad for cse self sponsored didn't even sent exam letter who were below 8.6cgpa , so score good marks in engineering
