Not great. Not wrong either. Try keeping 30% length to your left & 70 to ur right so that the rear.folds aren't hanging loose like a Swing. Instead, when worn with 30/70 it will be fit like a.trouser....Try it. Kanchi Kainkarya Vaishnavites are very good at it.

This is one type, also we tie it differently. Take mid part of dhoti from back, and from right side it comes put inside upto left trunk, and left side one to right trunk. The outer part to be dug inside and insert part to be dig outside at trunk edges to lock it. Then front portion becomes front neergi, ( folds), Back one is kachchi ( back side folds. This way you can hide your pelvic area completely. Unlike your style sir ❤

My father&GF too used to wear Khadi Dhotis as thay were Gandhiji's fans &then when I was young I was put in Iskcon for sometime so there they taught me quite a few things there including how to wear a Dhoti&trust me, for almost 3 months I wore Dhoti only! But it was wonderful to spend time with Iskcon! Even many foreigners wear Dhoti so perfectly, why not we!? Today only I am going to buy a Dhoti&try it all over again-just bcz of your video! Appreciate your feedback..as mentioned earlier..I made this video because I wear it this way for ease and convenience for more than 10 years...and many of my friends and relatives wanted to know how I do it..and I found by experience that the knot held the dhoti in place for much longer than any other way I tried.
It is not proper panchakachcham. Panchakachcham means 5 tie points. You did only 3. Our culture is already under attack particularly, from those who were born in this same culture. The Asthikas should be careful in presenting the cultural traditions and cultural symbols.
