In spring & summer, I use rainwater & dehumidifier water for my house plants; in winter, I harvest snow & icicles, which I let melt in a covered plastic tub in my basement.

Having this in a terra cotta pot has made a HUGE Difference for me, as all the excess water naturally drains out and is absorbed out via the terra cotta permeability ... and it's now thriving! :D

I love this plant, but it’s a little more fussy about water and light the most other plants we keep in the home… Yes, I use filtered water as you suggested… But it seems to have specific light requirements… It needs bright light… But any kind of direct sunlight even dappled seems to cause leaves to burn… However, with good attention, this plant can grow huge… Extending shoots/branches way up into the air… Worth trying if you have the patience…

I live in SC once it gets warm I put in my sunroom that does not have AC. I have had the plant for years but still trying to figure out best location and water. Is it better to keep inside with AC not sure if it's hating or loving the heat??
I just watched you video about the filtered water, I am going to start doing that as lots of brown tips and curling.

Nice!! Do you deal with the browning tips issue at all?

    • @michellelogan9177

@@TylerMossop not at all initially was only using distilled water and I have a lot of plants over 100 and the cost of distilled getting expensive. Therefore, I started using Tap water letting it sit for Full day before using it and no issues with my plants or brown tips
